Room at the back a must

Great experience and location the bedroom very retro nice bed good shower and bath staff big help good size room didn't eat at the hotel bar area booked nice

First the lights switches are difficult to get use to a delay when trying to switch on can get very confusing we had a room 201 which faced the street but at 11pm the nightclub kicks in and the noise is unbelievably loud and doesn't stop until 3am the hotel is worth a stay but ask for a room at the back

Staff extremely friendly and helpful, made very welcome.

Location was excellent, Close to Rail station. Room was very neat, tidy and clean. All staff were friendly and helpful.

Light switches sometimes had a mind of their own, but nothing of concern.

Unique rooms with fun themes.

Room was great. Themed rooms are fun and each seems to be unique.

booked three rooms. One was booked as executive (slightly higher price and specification). All three rooms were identical in specification according to the hotel manager who I spoke to. I'd like a refund on the extra paid. Be interested t know if that is simply a Booking issue or if the Hotel is price gouging.

Excellent boutique hotel perfectly located in one of our favourite cities!

I would highly recommend Le Monde. The location couldn't be better and we loved the individuality of the rooms - our room was fantastic. Much bigger than we thought it would be with great facilities. We didn't eat in the hotel but had a drink at the bar. The staff at reception couldn't be more helpful! We have stayed at quite a few hotels in Edinburgh but this is definitely one of our favourites - we will be back! Than you Le Monde for a great stay :)

Lovely hotel in brilliant location.

Lovely individual rooms (superior rooms). Plentiful facilities, plugs, lighting choices, warm and very comfortable. Mine was themed Casablanca.

Edimburgo bellissima, tempo "scozzese" con molto vento

Colazione internazionale e scozzese, ottima e completa; un po' lenta perchè viene preparata al momento. La posizione è appena defilata dalla via principale (Princess street), per cui resta centrale ma abbastanza tranquilla.

Sotto l'Hotel c'è una discoteca che nel weekend disturba molto, si sente la musica nelle camere fino a notte inoltrata.

Beautiful and well appointed.

The room was fantastic and very comfortable. I got one of the best nights of sleep on my trip, and enjoyed the design touches and amenities.

The window facing the street let a bit of noise in, which was noticeable at later hours until i covered it with white noise.

Great location friendly staff

We wanted to have drinks in the bar but they couldn’t accommodate us . Also the phone In the room wasn’t working so had to keep going down if we wanted anything . Tea coffee provisions were very poor - we had to keep requesting more as was only 2 white 2 brown sugars and 1 tea bag each

I love the design of the hotel and that every room is themed around a City. This was our second stay and is now one of my favourite places to stay in Edinburgh. The.breakfast was lovely and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard.i highly recommended a stay at Le Monde.

had a good stay. would come back again.

The big bath tub and big bed were great! size of the room and heating and lighting were all good.

smell from the corridor and into the room wasn’t nice. think the plug ins were trying to mask the smell of the old carpet that smelt damp. the curtains were broke and the toilet didn’t flush properly.

Good location, room needed some love

Room was a bit shabby and needed some love. Broken lamp, blocked bath drain, blind let in so much morning light. Staff did come quickly to look at the bath and we got 10% off of the room cost but with what we paid for room only it wasn’t worth it. I stayed here around 20 years ago and it was lovely but they haven’t worked on maintenance enough and it’s run down.
