Great Place To Stay.

It was a great place to stay. I want to particularly give credit and a very good thumbs up to the front desk staff called Tristan. He was such a great guy. He made sure all our needs were attended to. He was ever ready to help. He was an exceptionally great young man and I am sure he will go places in hospitality business and dealing with customers.

Nothing Much.... I guess the lightening can be better. A ceiling bulb can make the room more brighter for people like me who wanted to read and prepare for a lecture talk.

Bonne adresse pour court séjour au centre vieille ville

Localisation old Town parfaite pour court séjour touristique avec enfant car à 200m à pied de la rue principale Royal Mile avec bus drop on off et boutiques souvenirs et restaurants. Chambre simple et efficace, personnel très avenant et aidant, petit déjeuner simple mais efficace et compris, service bagage gratuit pendant 24h après checkout

Chambre très petite avec enfant car le lit d’appoint enfant c’est le canapé-lit et on ne peut plus bouger quand il est ouvert, vue sur cour intérieur côté église chambre 413, très calme mais par contre chambre connectée à une autre avec porte mince et entend tout de la chambre connexe, un couple italien s’est disputé pendant 20 minutes mais ensuite plus rien heureusement. Manque conseil d’accès car avec les bagages c’était pas simple. Cher même si la localisation est bonne

Excellent location for exploring the centre of Edinburgh; clean and comfortable.

The location was excellent, we were able to walk easily to all the places we wanted to visit during our trip. A clean and comfortable hotel.

Perfect for a short visit to Edinburgh

Room was a good size, nice bathroom and staff great. Everywhere very clean and convenient location. Comfy pillows and luggage storage if you arrive early.

The bed was a bit small and we had an adjoining room to a family with small children who woke up early. We were on a break without our children but that's the luck of the draw.

Great location, wonderful breakfast with the staff constantly making sure everything was OK. The room was nicely tidy up and clean. Bathroom was in an outstanding status (always something to aim for). Overall, very good experience.

Is not that I didn't like, but as this was a work trip a couple of desks and chairs outside the room to seat with your laptop while having a coffee would have been better.

Great hotel in great location.

Room was very spacious and the staff were very nice.

Breakfast was always the same, we stayed for 4 nights and we got fed up of the bacon sausages and scrambled eggs, they could at least put some ham and cheese so you can opt for a light toast or change the eggs from scrambled to boiled or fried somedays. Plates mugs and cutlery where not cleaned properly, had to change the mug and the knife on 2 occasions.

Overall, still quite a peasant stay experience.

The location of the hotel is good, close to tourist attractions. Breakfast provided is decent.

Housekeeping was busy and didn’t attend to our room during our 3 day stay. Ran out of some amenities like toilet paper on our last day. Would be good to provide room slippers especially during winter.

Great location; very basic hotel

The location is excellent. Extremely convenient to most tourist locations in the city. You can walk to the castle, to Holyrood, or to Grassmarket. This also means there are excellent restaurants nearby.

We chose this property specifically because it said there was parking available, but the parking arrangement is actually a separately-owned garage, which is two blocks away, across a relatively busy intersection. While you can get a discount if you are staying at the hotel, the parking is not free. There is a loading area in front of the hotel, but it is usually taken up by the hotel van, and the side street nearby prohibits parking next to the hotel. All of this would have been really helpful to know before I arrived.

Good location, not clean enough!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is quite good. It is just 2 minutes walking distance to Royal mile. Breakfast was so so.

The air conditioner of the room wasn't working properly. The room was cold and can not make it hotter with AC. Probably before us a guest with a dog stayed at the room. And house keeping didn't clean the room well. Every where on the carpet and on the couch there were dog hair. The room was not clean enough.

I wanted near Princesse Street, but it was so far away as I am disabled I had to pay for taxis every time I wanted to go to that area

Way too expensive for a tiny room. This hotel also charges to store bags. If you’re paying almost £500 a night, you’d think they could extend courtesy storage.
