Great location, spacious accommodations, well-equipped kitchen, and enjoyable amenities like pool table and hot tub make this property perfect for a Yosemite trip!

The location was beautiful, and central to all parts of Yosemite that we wanted to see. The chalet was spacious, and kitchen well equiped for our meals. We had our adult kids with us, and our 15 month old grandson. The hot tub and pool table was great as well for evening fun.

Really like the cabin, feel like we lucked out getting it. Nice sitting outside or in the hot tub star gazing. The cabin was spacious and cozy, with lots of your basics. The only issue was the downstairs bathroom toilet, you definitely have to pull the lever up when you are finished, but I am sure Eric/Jesse will have that fixed before the next guest arrive. Fun times and great experience for my first trip to Yosemite.

We had a lovely stay. Very quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils/pans The property manager, Eric, was very attentive and helpful. FYI, the driveway is steep so enter from the uphill side and stay to the left for the first 8-10 feet.

It was just like home away from home a great place to stay.

With our children and grandchildren ❣️. The oldest 80 and youngest 8 to climb Half Dome on 9/25❣️. The cabin (what an understatement) was purrrfect for all of us … it was lovely. AND THE KITCHEN had everything you could possibly want! Amazing!

I love the touch in each room and the huge family area. The TV would not turn on. This did not ruin or stay but it would have been a nice to have. Overall I liked staying at the house. The drive way is a bit though.

The house had all the basics that we needed. We did have an issue with the outdoor grill due to it not being cleaned out in a while, but the owner was quick to respond. Location was definitely a plus!

Great lodge inside the Yosemite park. Hard to beat - air con, comfortable beds, hot tub, spacious, pool table etc. Only 30 mins drive into the main Yosemite Park Valley centre which we used as a base for most days. Also close to the road which takes you up Glacier Point - a must see for anyone first time visitors to Yosemite. We are also lucky enough to see a Brown bear and her cub walking past the lodge ! Hosts were helpful in posting back my wife’s gold necklace which we accidentally left behind. Would definitely stay here again if we came back.

We rented this house for a hiking trip in Yosemite and it was perfect. The house was in a good location and well-maintained. I had my two sons and grandson with me and we had a great time. I would highly recommend this property.

The Storybook Chalet is everything we hoped it would be. The home is very comfortable with enough space for the whole family. The hot tub was a perfect way to end the day. The location is perfect to get to major hike locations with being smack dab in the middle of glacier point and the valley. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This was our second time at Storybook Chalet. It's a great house, and the location couldn't be better.

Staying in the park was great as it enabled us to more quickly get to our hikes while we were in the park. Working with the owners of the home were great and they were very responsive when we had needs. Overall, house was great just could use a little bit of updating and fixing some things that are broke. Hot tub was fabulous! Could see the stars really good from their deck. Thanks!

Our family had a great stay at the Storybook Chalet. I appreciated all of the supplies provided- shampoo, conditioner, dish and laundry detergent, dryer sheets, coffee and even hot cocoa. We all enjoyed playing pool and the hot tub in our down time. It’s a lovely home and the location can’t be beat. We didn’t have to worry about waiting in long lines to get in or making reservations. We were able to do so much in the park each day and come home to a clean comfortable home. Thank you Eric and Jessie :)

This location was absolutely perfect for our trip to Yosemite! We ended up having 4 less people on our trip (6 rather than 9) and we all fit comfortably. We would have been a little tight with our whole group, but with the loft space and air mattresses it would have been just fine!
The neighborhood is lovely and near a trail the lets you hike up to a fire watch tower- which I loved
Definitely would recommend!

We loved this cabin in Yosemite West. We were five adults, a toddler and two dogs and we had plenty of space. It was a short drive to the valley floor and Glacier Point, really the perfect location. The cabin is beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet and backed against beautiful trees. We can’t wait to come back.

The house served our group of 6 well. There were a few minor items that needed attention and the host quickly replied to all messages. The view was less than what we were hoping but there was no specific mention of a spectacular Mountain View in the listing. The view is a partial Mountain View with most of the view being trees and other houses.
The main reason to book this is the location. It is in the park and only 35-40 minutes from the valley. This reeeaaallly benefited us in regard to our daily activities. We didn’t have to have a reservation for the park or wait in the normally long wait to enter the park. We just got going whenever we felt like it and didn’t have to worry about getting into the park. If you are planning 2 or more days in the park, stay in the park!

We had an AMAZING stay! This place is located 15-30 mins from Tunnel View and Yosemite Village. Very conveniently located within the Park gates so we did Tunnel View and Bridalveil Falls Trailhead, Upper Yosemite Falls to Eagle Peak, Mirror Lake Loop, and Mist Trail to Vernal Falls/Nevada Falls… just amazing! We will come back!

Really liked the place but downstairs bath needs some attention. Washing towels and getting them in the dryer is a bit much to ask if you are leaving early. Other than that, really enjoyed the property. Avoids going through long lines at park entrance.

This was a great location for us to get to the valley as well as the Mariposa Sequoia Grove.

Great property, lots of amenities that the host allows you to use. Definitely built for vacation with games, sleds, and creature comforts. Coffee was provided. Plenty warm in the winter. Driveway is steep, but was well cleared when we arrived after a big snow. Plenty of blankets/towels/dishes/cookware.

Our family of four had more than enough room. The kids loved the hot tub and pool table. Great access to all the sites. Would definitely recommend

Great location, just a short drive into the valley. Perfect getaway for the family. We cooked together, played pool and games, relaxed in the hot tub/sauna. Had all the needed amenities.

My husband and I have stayed at Storybook Chalet several times over the years and always love it. The home is spacious and comfy, and the location and distance to the valley is so convenient. We can’t wait to go back!

This is where you want to stay for a cozy cabin near the valley. Views are amazing from the deck.
Make sure to download the check in code before you leave cell service because if you’re at the door you won’t have service and will need to drive to service to check your app.

The location for most all activities is a 30 minute drive. Being in the park and avoiding the entrance gate is a huge plus. On our trip the entrance was backed up over a mile most of the days.
The house is clean (but not spotless) and has most everything you need. (Could use a pancake griddle) Beds were comfortable. We hiked each day so did not use most of the amenities such as the hot tub or billiards table but can see they would be nice.
Some reviews say to bring all your food as grocery stores are far away but there is a general store at Yosemite Valley that carries a nice selection and the house has plenty of spices.
Overall, I would say the house was perfect for our needs. (Someone who is super picky may notice: Some windows are fogged, grout in bathroom needs cleaned or replaced and basically just some tender loving care that comes from usage and renting.)

Property was good but in need of some TLC. Master shower door handle is broken and water leaks thru door because seal is broken. Master bedroom mattress not very comfortable. Outdoor stairs are very slippery in the morning. House has great views and the weather was great during our stay. Thank you.

A buddy and I went to hike Half Dome. We wanted to sleep in beds, lol. Maybe I didn't look at the photos and was just booking by hot tub, price, and availability, but I was presently surprised by the open floor plan and the comfort of the home. The neighborhood is also real nice. Tons of cooking stuff. Good trip! I'd stay right in this same home again.
