This Sunriver home is in a perfect location for walking or riding bikes to Sharc and Village. Home is very comfortable for a group of 6-8. Deck is large, garage is a game room with ping pong etc. There are 2 tv viewing or conversation/game rooms. Utilities are almost all updated. Bathroom counters and cabinets are fresh. New wood like floors are nice. Cabin decor is outdoorsy and tasteful. We had a very nice stay and would be happy to rebook this home. The VACASA staff were very good and communication and follow up!

The location was great for us. Easy to get to the Village and SHARC and no long uphill bike rides to get home.
Our grandkids really enjoyed the ping pong, air hockey and foosball tables in the garage.
We did think the mattresses were hard and uncomfortable.

Loved the layout since we had our teenagers with us so they had some great hangout space. Loved that there was an extra vanity in the upstairs hall so the girls took full advantage of that in the mornings! We love to cook on our mini vacays and found pretty much everything we needed to prepare our dinners.

The location of this house was great. Sorry walk to the SHARC, and the village was walkable. The house had plenty of room for our group and the kitchen was really well stocked with spices and cooking tools/supplies. The beds were not the best and could probably be replaced. My kids loved the game tables in the garage, though the air hockey and ping pong tables could use some repairs. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house for larger groups. Thank you!

Good use of space with two family rooms and plenty of beds
Games for everyone. Single shower for up to 7 people unless using master bathroom. Well equipped kitchen.

We loved the location, size, and amenities of this house. But, it was not clean and it needs maintenance. We were 2 families of four and it was plenty of space. The hot tub, bikes, and garage games were great to have. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to prepare meals in.

Nice comfortable house close to shark. We had a few issues with bees but Vacasa came right away and removed the nests. The oven/microwave could use updating. The hot tub cover needs a lift because it is really heavy. Very spacious and very nice deck.

LOVED the house and location. The personal contact number for any issues wonderful and Robin and Katie were wonderful. Unfortunately, the screen never got fixed. Only reason I gave a 4 start on cleanliness, was that the outside tables and chairs (especially chair covers) were very dirty. The chair covers had spots on them that made you not want to sit on them. Also, learned that even though it is a house for 10, they did not have 10 bikes. Learned it is up to owners how many they provide. Knowing the number in advance would be nice. Also, as I reported to my personal contact, out of the 6 bikes available, 1 had a bent tire and another the chain wouldn't stay on so you couldn't stop. This said, I still highly recommend this house and location. Well maintained and lots of room for 10 people.

Unfortunately this property was not cleaned well and no cleaning supplies to clean better. Dishes were put away dirty, food stuck on plates, cups and utensils. Driveway and path to house was dangerously icy.

This was a really nice place and I'm glad we booked it. We got to bring our dog, and that is always a plus. The house was well stocked, do an inventory of kitchen supplies before you go shopping, they have little things like spices & oils. We had fun, this was a great place, good location too. This is managed by a company, so you won't actually get check in instructions until just before your stay.

The location is close to the SHARC and the Village. The house is laid out very nicely, TVs in every room, a well stocked kitchen, a nice back deck with plenty of seating and a quiet neighborhood. We brought our own bikes but they have bikes in the garage that are a nice convenience. The games in the garage were fun too.
We would definitely come back again.

The location of this property was terrific - just a short walk to the pool and park. And any time we thought “We really need a (whatever)” we found it in the house.

Family get away
Perfect accommodations for our family. Well stocked house. Loved wood fireplace as start of our stay was cold. Great location & hot tub.
Recommend: shampoo family room carpet (smelled of dog urine), but house was clean. We’d come back!

Lovely Home
Similar to many nice, larger homes on Vacasa, but with extra attention to detail. Some homes cut corners on kitchen utensils, extra blankets, etc, but this home was well taken care of. Weather didn't cooperate so we spent much of our time in the home, and enjoyed our entire stay.

Amazing Property
This place was perfect. Wish we had more time. Everything was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the TVs in each room as we had adult kids with partners. The bunk room was two full size bunks, great use of space. Liked the game selection, and loved the games in the garage. Only downfall is having to be out by 10am, seemed to rushed. Would like at least another hour. Overall, would stay again.
Thanks so much for amazing family memories!

Family Friendly Stay
This property was great for accommodating our adult boys and their families. We used to rent homes every year at Sunriver when our boys were young with us snowboarding and snowmobiling. It had been years since then and was time to introduce the area and activities to their own families now. The home had all the amenities we could have asked for. The only draw back we had was trying to light the gas fireplace and keep it lit and the outside Bbq was not cleaned of all the grease and cooked food debris and would not light until we completely cleaned it out. Other than that I would definitely recommend this property.

Hallmark Christmas :-)
We had a great time! We wanted our kids to have a white Christmas, a Hallmark Christmas! Thank you, we enjoyed the hot tub, shark pool, wood fire and loved the way the kitchen overlooked one of the living rooms! Great stay, thank you!
PS....We left a a work bag behind and you were very helpful in getting that back to us! Thank you!

This house is in a great location and very quiet. Very close to the Sharc and within walking distance of The Village. Lots of space for our family.

This was our 8th visit to Sunriver, greatly enjoyed our time in this comfortable house with two other couples, kids and our dog. The location is excellent: near SHARC and only a few minutes biking to village. House was very clean, interior feels recently painted. There are some elements that feel worn out (carpet, older kitchen appliances and deck), but with kids and a dog, we weren’t seeking all-new/fancy.
The patio door issue noted in earlier review was fixed while we were there, working well. Kitchen was well-stocked, and there were plenty of bath and hot tub towels. Hot tub was wonderful. Would stay here again.
The house doesn’t have air conditioning (less than half in Sunriver do), so we left windows open at night, closed them in the morning to seal in the cool air and used some of the fans provided on hotter days to keep it a good temp. With forest fire smoke becoming (sadly) a more regular issue, suggest booking a home with a/c for late summer visits if anyone in your party has respiratory issues.

Great weekend
We made good use of the bikes, Foosball table and air hockey in the garage. The hot tub was very nice and the house was really good. Only thing I would fix is the rollers on the sliding glass door.

Great location, needs some TLC
This home has a lot going for it and I would likely consider it again for a winter stay at the right price...proximity to the bike paths, SHARC, and the Village make getting around easy. The layout of the house allows for groups to spread out in different spaces (two living rooms, fun games in the garage).
As others have mentioned, the lack of A/C was challenging during a heatwave. Opening the windows at night helped cool the house down overnight, but the two rooms with the queen beds are at the back of the house and get blasted by the evening sun, making it difficult to fall asleep before sunset.
The house is showing its age enough to lose one star...the burners take a while to self-ignite, meaning gas is being released longer than it should, resulting in a flame burst when it finally lights...one sliding glass door doesn't close very easily...the temperature gauge on the oven doesn't seem to work, nor the one on the bbq...the light in the primary bedroom was broken...and so on.
Lastly, because this property is managed through Vacasa, the two times I contacted them through the VRBO message system prior to our stay, the response was "call us," which was an inconvenience and seems to defeat the purpose of booking electronically in the first place.

Very Hot Weather
No AC in this house. Screen doors on both sliders fell off . Dining room slider does not close or lock properly. Nails on some of deck need to be hammered in. Don't go bare foot. Nice location. Passes to pool and close to lots of lakes and river .

The PROS: This is the third time staying at Lost Lane 2. First time dealing with Vacasa. We love that it has a family room and a living room. Bedrooms and two bathrooms are upstairs. Along with an additional sink in the hallway. This made it nice when everyone was trying to get ready for bed or get going in the morning. There was also another bathroom just off the garage. This time the kids were old enough to sleep in the room with the bunks. There was no sleeper sofa at all, as mentioned in description, so someone had to sleep on the floor. Luckily I brought an air mattress just in case. Kitchen was well supplied/stock with cooking utensils. Other guests have left spices and such behind which was nice. It could use some Tupperware type containers, I only found a couple. Good thing we brought baggies for leftovers. Things are not organized in kitchen, so if you are looking for something, keep looking, it's probably there. Patio was nice, shady most of the time. We found umbrellas in the garage, but didn't need them. The house is close to SHARC to walk or ride bikes. WIFI was good in most of the house, but sometimes iffy in the family room. The games in garage were a hit with the kids. We used some bikes. Pump was available, but no locks. I'm guessing bikes don't disappear in Sunriver. House was very clean when we arrived. Ten SHARC passes were available, but SHARC was only opened two days. You had to be on the website by 8:00 to get tickets to get in. By 8:03, they were gone.
THE CONS: Very, very disappointed with the maintenance of this property. We stayed for 6 days. Day 2, we tried to open up the hot tub, but key didn't work. You cannot call directly to Vacasa, you get their 800#. I called about the wrong key and was told someone would get back to me. Carpenter ants were a huge problem inside and outside. Not happy that ants would crawl up our legs in the living and dining rooms. I called 800# again and complained about ants and no hot tub key. Day 3, they sent someone out with new key and ant spray. They sprayed around the inside of house, left us with a can if we needed it and said doing anything outside wouldn't matter! He tried to fix the broken screen door to the den, but couldn't so he took it with him. Never saw it again. So we couldn't open up the slider in the family and get some air circulating through the house. Day 4, new key didn't work. The guy didn't even try to see if it was the correct key. I called the 800# again. I was told someone would get back to us. Instead of waiting I went to the office in SunRiver. I asked them for a crowbar to break the lock to the hot tub. Asked for the screen door to be put back on. Told them the igniter was broken on grill. I had to buy a lighter stick to get it going since I didn't want to walk through house with paper towel on fire! But what was worse, the grill hadn't been cleaned in what seemed forever. I took the whole thing apart and scraped and cleaned that grill good. I showed the office a pictures of the pile of debris on the ground from the grill cleaning. Also told them about the key issue with the hot tub and the glass slider door to dining room does not slide. It stayed opened the whole time. The lady at counter said she would talk to her manager and get back to us. It's two hours later 15 minutes before office closes, I called 800# again. Explained all issues and said no one has contacted me and where's the darn key to hot tub? Fifteen minutes later a supervisor should up with a handful of keys and gave us the correct one. We enjoyed the hot tub for one day!! If you want to use the grill, bring your own utensils. A rubber pancake turner and ice bucket tongs don't work very well.
So, after all was done, we did have a good time at this house. But after 9 years of trying different houses and different companies, I would have to say Vacasa was the worst to work with regarding issues. It appears the m...

Hot tub
Called the Vacasa # at check in because the key to the hot tub did not fit. They called RC who in turn called me. He was very nice and said he would head on over from La Pine. This was after 6:00 p.m. My son removed the lock by unscrewing the wood strip the clock was secured by. We called RC back and let him know we were able to access the hot tub. He told me the company that services the hot tub would come the following day to correct the key problem. They never came. We RE secured it upon departure.

Very Nice Experience
We were very pleased with Lost 2. The layout was perfect, the toys were fun, the hot tub was a joy and had the weather been warmer, we would have spent more time on the nice, large patio. We expected SHARC to be opened, it was not and that was a big disappointment as we had kids that were itching to play in the water. Overall though, Sunriver is a very nice family community with lots of activities and all easily accessible.

Pretty and spacious but...
Love the decorative details and the spacious accomodations. Also nice to have a tv in basically every room for down time. Would have like to know there were blueray players so we could have packed some movies though. The welcome "package" was definitely lacking. Usually there is some sort of treat to start the stay off right but there was absolutely nothing. Even more importantly though was there was nothing explaining where the SHARC passes were or what all was included:/. COVID ended up making the passes useless too us as well. Would have also been super helpful to have something telling us opening schedules maybe? It was super hard to find when things were open for the season until we were already there to which we found out that almost NOTHING was opening until memorial day:/. A few more instructions on some of the appliances and such might have been nice also. Loved the big deck and the hot tub! Also nice that there were some bored games! It was starting to get pretty warm while we were there and there is no air-conditioning apparently. While it is really nice that every bedroom provided a fan...I would definitely pass on the place in the summer time. Also there was an ant problem so the master bathroom was covered in ants which was kind of gross and had to hide the toothbrushes. Furthermore the sliding glass doors were really hard to use (I think they are a bit broken). And ofcourse, as others have said... A 10am check out it's rather terrible. We made our checkout time but just barely and the whole morning was a total rush and not able to enjoy the place at all that day.
