This is my second stay (last year) at a Forest Creek condo. There is a similar floor plan with the two bedrooms at entry level and living space and kitchen on second floor. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is an addition bathroom on the second level. The kitchen was modern and well appointed. The furniture was comfortable and well maintained. My only major criticism is that the wire mesh of the floor to ceiling screen in the living room needs to be repaired/replaced. The weather was hot this past week and a cross draft with open window was needed. Also, the parking passes for our two vehicles was missing from the folder. In summary, this condo is an excellent base for a stay in Mammoth Lakes.
4.7
We had a Blast plenty of Snow fun and plenty of rest in the Condo.
4.7
As indicated in other reviews, the interiors are a bit dated. But the condo is spacious, very comfortable and functional, and has the added benefit of the private jacuzzi. Also very nice views over meadow from the second floor. We raised some minor maintenance issues with the host, which I’m sure will be addressed.
4.7
Place was just as described. We loved the hot tub and the washer and dryer were a plus.
4.7
The property is in a great location! We loved the private hot tub.
4.7
Overall our stay was good! Parking right in front. Spa was a plus. A few things added up, which resulted in a 4. The couch is desperately in need of replacing. There were stains all over it and the throw pillows were pretty gross. No padding in couch as you sat. There was no hand soap in any of the bathroom's. Had to use out shampoo to clean hands. Linens are also in need of replacing in the master.
4.7
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and everything was as described. Plenty of firewood available to use and we were warm our entire trip. The location was excellent as it was not too far from Eagle Lodge, and not too far from the market. The shuttle stop is a short less than 5 min walk away. We will definitely consider staying again in the future.
4.7
We had a great time staying at this condo. It is located in town and near the bus lines. The condo is very close to Vons & Grocery Outlet as well as the Village. The jacazzi is a great feature especially after a day of skiing. We had a lovely stay over the holidays and will definitely stay in this condo again in the future.
4.7
An excellent option in Mammoth Lakes. Clean, quite with a great kitchen. I’ll be back.
4.7
we love this property, it is clean and comfortable. a great location, close to everything. Only one thing-it might be time to change out the bath towels, they were fine but starting to show ware and bleach spotting.
4.7
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay very much.
4.7
Great location. Owner and property manager very responsive to any concerns. Nice modern amenities. Hot tub nice bonus. Would definitely return.
4.7
The property was as described. It has a beautiful fully stocked kitchen. The unit was clean and nicely decorated. Complex is nice and quiet.
4.7
Clean condo with hot tub on inclosed balcony. One of the beter rentals we have gotten over the last few years.
4.7
Nice clean condo, right by the shuttle route to Mammoth. Would stay again!
4.7
Great place for a getaway with friends! Close to Eagle Lodge, and all the local amenities you'd need. The spa is a great spot to hangout after a day snowboarding on the mountain, and the wood fire stove keeps the whole place warm and cozy. The owner Barbara is super kind and responsive! Overall we had a great time and would definitely want to stay here again :)
4.7
From the time we first opened the door, we felt at home and enjoyed the property. The views from the upstairs living room and kitchen were captivating. And the fireplace kept us warm and relaxed.
4.7
The property was ok. Location was good. But needs some work. The electricity was completely out in the master bathroom. A long list of issues was sent to the property manager who was responsive and sent someone right away to fix what could be fixed quickly. Hopefully, the rest will be addressed soon.
4.7
Listing is a bit optimistic about the condo. Layout and location are great but small issues added up so can only give a 4. Firewood is provided and wood stove in the living room heats well and provides nice ambiance. Nice grill on the deck is a plus. The new wood flooring is already separating in one spot just outside the kitchen and another spot in the master bath. Kitchen is fine but maintains old laminate countertops and backsplash tile with repainted cabinets. New appliances do not make the kitchen "gourmet". Double door refrigerator is in a corner so the left door cannot open fully since the handle hits the wall. Lighting is lacking over the dining area so a bit dark in that corner of the living room. New fixtures in bathrooms but master shower head still very low and both downstairs showers drained slowly. We booked looking forward to an in-unit hot tub but were disappointed that the room/tub had a funky smell. Might have been the cover and the water was a bit cloudy. 4 adults would be a tight fit. I used it once - wife and kids did not use it. No kitchen garbage bags or dish soap to be found. We contacted the manager and they were brought the next day. Manager was responsive and also able to send someone to troubleshoot the wall heater in 2nd bedroom. Overall, a nice condo but not as top of the line as described.
4.7
Love the parking right outside. Jacuzzi and nice addition.
4.7
The condo was very nice and quiet. Easy parking right in front. A nice feature of the hot tub inside condo and updated kitchen. Had all what we needed. Labor Day weekend was extremely hot and the second floor had no relief of AC and couldn’t feel the air from ceiling fan. Suggestion of supplying a portable fan. Overall we had a nice stay. Thank you

As above.
4.7
Centrally located, great amenities (the hot tub is a bonus), nice kitchen and a nice new barbecue. Had some housekeeping issues but that was easily resolved with the owner who is very responsive. The couch and carpet need replacement. Would we stay there again? Definitely.

Nice condo, comfortable & a great location

The kitchen pictured in the photograph is accurate and it was clean and well-appointed. The bedrooms/ bathrooms were pretty standard and clean. The living room area was another story. The two piece couch was not clean and the throw pillows were torn and tattered, spotted, and one was downright disgusting with some unidentifiable substance smeared all over it. We pulled a sheet out of the linen closet to cover the couch with and did not use the throw pillows. The couch is old, sagging and in need of replacement. The living room carpet near the sliding glass door is completely rotted out, completely exposing several linear feet of carpet tack board- including rusty tacks sticking straight up. This is a serious safety hazard and needs to be fixed immediately! Since the throw rug was too long to cover the area, I covered the exposed tack strips with a large bath towel folded over twice lengthwise. A wooden chair seat in the sauna/hot tub patio is completely cracked in half, sharp along the edges and a pinch hazard. There is also a nail head sticking up more than a quarter of an inch out of the seat, again in need of immediate attention. The front door locks need maintenance. Two of the keys provided did not initially work. Cooking oil applied to both keys allowed one to operate with some difficulty and the other was not serviceable. I'm sure it was due to being a holiday weekend, but the property manager's office door, two down was shuttered during our stay. It's a shame an owner would rent out a property saying it was newly remodeled, when lacking so much attention, including safety hazards.

Nice photos- not reflective of actual property- safety issues need attention!

Wonderful stay and location! Just needs a few updates...
My wife, kids (5 & 3) and I had a wonderful time staying here. So much so that we even extended our trip for another day. It wasn't fancy by any means but definitely had everything that we needed, from the kitchen to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The fireplace worked great to keep the house nice a toasty during a few very cold days and the private hot tub was a nice bonus! We really enjoyed playing in the snow in the field that was right behind the house. It was great for the kids and had some hills to do some sledding; perfect for their ages. As for the updates needed, the only complaints we had was the living room sofa, vertical blinds, and the cookware. The sofa is not comfortable! It sinks in big time and needs to either be reupholstered or replaced. The vertical blinds in the living room also need repair/replacement as we could barely even open/close them. I never have high expectations for cookware in a rental property, but these were a little older and more worn/scratched up than I'm used to. Overall, these things wouldn't keep me from staying here again. It's a great value for the price and we had a great time! Thank you!
