We had a great stay at this country paradise. Loved the secluded location and care put into the building; from the light fixtures, to the pre-built fireplace ready to light. Lots of native birds around the place, and a paddock full of horses right across the road. Awesome stuff, thanks Karen!

This was my third stay and one of the best short hop restorative places I've found ex-Wellington. It is always lovely no matter the season.

Stayed for five days in the lovely stables amidst the beauty of nature and it was so peaceful there that we struggled to return to real life. Karen was a wonderful and welcoming host too. We would definitely recommend staying here and are looking forward to our next visit.

The Stables is a lovely old building in a great setting for relaxation in the countryside but not too far from the Otaki township. The accommodation was very nice and the self catering facilities were very good.

Such a beautiful place to stay and on a wonderful property.
Karen and partner were great. They gave us privacy but were wonderful to have a chat with when we crossed paths on the property.

Wow factor! The surrounding gardens add to a magic charm that transport one into a charming snippet of ye olde English countryside. A welcome cosy retreat for my much needed dose of solitude and battery recharge. Appreciated the clear communication, yet privacy. Just what the doctor ordered! Thankyou Karen & Stephen
