About this house rental
Beautiful 3400 sq. foot home on 3/4 of an acre in a quite neighborhood with gorgeous mountain and meadow views. Just 3 miles to Grand Lake and 3 1/2 to RMNP. This 5 bedroom + large loft home has 3 bathrooms, 3 levels, a movie room, game room, pool table, reading nook and tv/ video game space in loft. Our home hosts 3 decks, 2 large covered porches and a large brand new fire pit . Sleeps 14 on regular mattresses and one futon couch. The main floor has beautiful views with an open floor plan combining the kitchen, large dining table and great room which lead out to a large 2nd story deck . The home has a tankless on demand water heater supporting multiple usage at same time. There is plenty of room indoors and out to be together or have a little quiet time away from the rest!
The main floor has a huge wall of windows leading out to the deck with an 8 foot picnic table, as well as additional seating and a BBQ gas grill. The master suite hosts a brand new bathroom with walk-in shower, a king bed and a flat screen TV. Also on the main floor is a guest room with a king bed and just across the hall from the guest bath with a tub/shower combo. The large loft has two twins beds, a full size futon, with a sofa and TV/gaming area. The kitchen hosts a 6 burner gas stove, brand new oven and microwave and a new large fridge with two ice makers.
Downstairs is a light and airy walk-out level with 3 bedrooms. The "Aspen Room" is a large bedroom with a log style king bed. The other two bedrooms have the best views of the mountain range and meadow below. One hosts a queen bed and the other a twin and a full bed. Both are just steps away from the lower deck where you can enjoy your morning coffee from the downstairs coffee station. You can also enjoy a movie in the movie room, play some games or do a puzzle in the game room, challenge someone to a game of pool or find a book and enjoy some quiet time in the comfy reading corner.
Enjoys the decks where beautiful views and sunshine are a guarantee and you can spread out if you choose and sit on one of the two covered porches for a little shade and quiet time. The outdoors has a large fire pit with plenty of seating and where marshmallow roasting is a must!. Lot is large and plenty of rocks for kids to do some climbing around. We have a very long, flat driveway with plenty of parking for multiple cars and can host an ATV/snowmobile trailer under 20ft.
Feel like a stroll? Head down the hill and around the corner to the beautiful Colorado River with the split rail fences and listen to the river for a while. Keep your eyes peeled as we see deer and moose on a regular basis!

Division of bedrooms was perfect for our family as boys stayed in loft; 2 sets of parents down below as well as the two girls; grandparents and younger son and wife stayed on main floor. Picnic table good for our large group. Lots of outdoor balconies to enjoy. Returning from long days in the park - played pool and cards in the evening.

Very comfortable, spacious home with many different gathering areas inside and outside. We stayed there with cousins, and it was a perfect size for both privacy and togetherness. We loved the porch and fire pit area. The teenagers loved the pool table and the downstairs hang out space. Grand Lake is great.

Perfect for any occasion
This house was beyond perfect and so was the host. The location is close to many activities and the neighborhood is fun for exploring. Sheila is an amazing host who really caters to her clients. I highly recommend this house. You will not regret it.

Wonderful Grand Lake Property
This is our second time to stay in this property. It is always well stocked and clean. The location is great for kids to play in the neighborhood and taking long walks without having to get into the car. We enjoyed playing pool, cooking on the grill and playing games at the huge farmhouse dining table.

Wonderful holiday escape!
We just returned from a wonderful 3 days at this property. House accommodated three families, and was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Host was very helpful, answering any questions we had prior to arrival. All the information we needed about the house was organized and available when we arrived. The house was very well equipped, and we enjoyed comfortable beds, a great loft space for the teens, games, pool table, and huge dining room table for our meals and card/board games. We rolled in with a big snowstorm, so didn't have a chance to enjoy the outdoor decks and fire pit. Hopefully we can come back in the summer for some hiking adventures!

Cozy cabin with great views
Cozy cabin with big windows that display beautiful mountains. The beds were comfortable and there was more than enough space for our three families. The weather and road conditions were questionable with a large snowstorm coming through and road blockages, but the owners helped guide us to the cabin.

Family Christmas trip
Loved the house. Enough room for all of us to have our own space yet gather. Outside provided kids to slide in the snow. Charming decor. Owner responded to any last minute questions. Great Location. Recommend to everyone. Awesome local town. Granddaughter did a tour. Gkids were especially "overwhelmed" with how awesome the house was.

Wonderful Family Get Together
We had family from 3 states meet up here, ages 2 to 72, and we all enjoyed the property, there was something for everyone! The owner was great to work with and very accommodating, she was always available to answer a question or provide input about the area! We can't wait to visit again next summer!! Miss it already! Weekend Stay
We had a great weekend stay here with our family of six and our friends family of six. It is an absolutely beautiful area where we saw moose right in the neighborhood. The house was in great order and very clean. This was the second time we had been there and would go again for sure!

Fantastic property!
We spent Christmas vacation here with our family of 14 and it completely exceeded our expectations. The house was spotless and very well organized. Anything we needed was available. The view was gorgeous and the space for family was perfect. The owner even had a Christmas tree lit, decorated and in the family room! They were extremely accommodating. We would highly recommend this place for any season!

Great place for a large family
We really enjoyed our time with our family. It was in a great spot to enjoy the Grand Lake area. You are a short drive from downtown or the Lake itself. We saw moose & deer from the deck. There are plenty of bedrooms including 3 king size beds.

Wonderful Get Away
This property offered everything we needed, great gathering rooms, spacious deck, comfy beds and an awesome view. The fire pit was perfect for treats around the fire in the evening. The house was supplied with absolutely everything we needed. We enjoyed the ATV trails, seeing beautiful scenery and time at the Lake making sand castles. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Grand Lake area.

IT WAS PERFECT!!!
This house was perfect for our family!! We had three different families stay with kids and we had plenty of room for everyone!! The house was gorgeous, as well as, the view!!! The owner Sheila was more than accommodating! She helped with dinner recommendations and activities to do while we were there! She also made sure the driveway was clear, even with all the snow that they got!! I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to have a great time in the mountains and not have to worry about anything!! Thank you Sheila for making our family vacation the best yet!!!

Gorgeous was Gorgeous
Gorgeous views and home at this beautiful Grand Lake! Everything you could ask for and more in amenities...fully stocked kitchen with new appliances; large, comfy great room with dining table that easily seats 10 adults; 4 king-size comfy beds with the softest sheets; washer and dryer; game room with pool table and theater area; and a loft that could easily sleep 4 along with another bedroom in the basement.
The location is a short distance from the quaint town of Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. We enjoyed snowshoeing and trekking along the Adams Falls Trail, Colorado River Trail, and Doe River Trail.
We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful
It was a beautiful cabin with more than enough space for 12 people. It was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. It has amazing views and is in a wonderful location. We can’t wait to go back.
The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. She went out of her way to make sure that our stay was fantastic and that we were able to make it home safely.

Beautiful home and great views
We had a family ski trip planned with ten of us. The house gave everyone their own space and all the teenagers were entertained with pool and movies. It was an amazing stay in a beautiful home. The home has everything you need and then some. We were there during the winter festival at Grand Lake and had a blast! Skied in Granby and went tubing in Fraser. The home is close to everything. Will definitely rent it again!

Great house in a gorgeous setting
This Grand Lake House is perfect for a weekend away with friends. We celebrated my husband’s birthday there with three other couples and we made full use of the house. The guys spent several hours playing pool and Jenga (at the same time) while the gals read, napped and just relaxed. The large dining area was the perfect place for a celebratory dinner. Each night, we bundled up and headed outside to the onsite fire pit for some after dinner drinks and s’mores. The owners have stocked the place so well that we didn’t have to make any last minute store trips for those little items we forgot to bring. We would absolutely rent this again.
