Lovely home in the perfect location to explore every part of the Cotswolds! Would definitely book again!

Beautiful barn with everything you need in a gorgeous location. Six of us stayed for a wedding at The Compton Gallery, literally 5 minutes away. Emma the host was very friendly, welcoming and helpful, we couldn’t have asked for more. I’ll definitely be recommending Southwold Barn to all my family and friends for a relaxing break.

Great location for attending a wedding we had near by.
The property worked really well and the family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Emma was very helpful and great host.

We loved the barn and the village, and Stuart was great. Lovely details over and above expectations (milk in the fridge, fresh flowers etc). I booked this for the stream: possibly the world's smallest steam but the whole area is full of streams! We had a lovely time and may well return. Just two comments that might be helpful for other hirers: downstairs is *very* dark at night (although there is a motion sensor / torch in the corridor, thank you) and upstairs doesn't get very dark at all (white blinds on the velux type windows) so allocate bedrooms appropriately

Our son’s wedding was held at Stone Barn on the Saturday and we booked from the Thursday to the following Tuesday. I’m very glad we did. The property is as described and is in a very quiet location on its own plot with plenty of space. The bedrooms were comfortable, the bathrooms and en-suites spacious and well equipped. Best of all there was seating for everyone in the living area (seven of us) - not the case in most other properties in our experience. Board games available for rainy days. Good kitchen but could benefit from a couple of basic oven trays.
A very decent property and happy to recommend.

A lovely location and wonderful property. Catered for all we needed.
The only flaw we had was that we ran out of hot water and there did not seem to be any instructions as to how to turn them on. We found it in the end and the water was wonderful again. If instructions can be left for future residents then that would be amazing.
PS It was a treat to see the resident hedgehog just outside the window towards the pond. The security light illuminated our little friend wonderfully and he was only 2 metres away from us.

Such a beautiful tranquil setting for four siblings and in-laws/partners to spend quality time together. We could not have asked for more during our stay. Emma was welcoming and a pleasure to meet. The care and attention to detail for a comfortable stay was so appreciated. Our family will never forget the happy time we spent together at Southwold Barn in the beautiful Cotswolds.

Remote but easily accessible and was a perfect venue to bring our immediate family together. The facilities and accommodation suited our requirements very well. Good walks available without driving. The traditional village fete held on a warm sunny day was a bonus. Owners very friendly.

We’re a group of school friends and came away to celebrate all turning 50 in the past year. Emma was so helpful and welcoming, and everything was provided for a really comfortable and enjoyable stay in a beautiful part of the world. We’re already planning a repeat visit.

Friendly hosts and a well kept property, with beautiful quiet garden. We were a multi generational family group who loved being able to explore the area and all the local things to do and then being able to return to this relaxing cortage. It felt like a real break and reset for us

We felt as if we were being spied on after receiving a text off the owner on the first evening reminding us of how many people could stay at the property. Because of this we wouldn’t stay there again .

Lovely, clean, warm property with all you need on site for your stay. The only recommendation I have would be to add a full length mirror.

The communication from Emma up to and on the weekend we stayed here was brilliant. The house itself is lovely and so much bigger than the photos! There was plenty of space for 7 of us to get together. This is also in a beautiful setting with countryside walks around.

What a wonderful barn and the location for a chilled, catch up with friends and family celebrating a milestone birthday. After having to move the dates several times due to covid (thank you Emma and Stuart), we finally made it, and we weren’t disappointed. The house is fully equipped with everything you could need, including enough seating (in other places we’ve had to bring in outdoor furniture 😳), with a gorgeous log burner for the chilly evenings.
The location is idillic, surrounded by fields within a little village. Great for going for a walk or a short drive into the pretty town of Cirencester.
I couldn’t recommend this beautiful house enough.

We had a lovely stay at Southwold Barn, the sun shined all week, and the house had everything you might need. Set in a perfectly quiet location, but still only a few miles drive from many of the lovely Cotswold visitor attractions. Would highly recommend.

Loved this place. It was just as the pictures on your website, stunning. Everyone enjoyed the property and was a great place to come back to and relax after playing golf at Minchinhampton. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend anyone to stay there.

This property has all you need for a really cosy, relaxing stay. It is spacious, superbly equipped, tastefully decorated and well positioned to explore the Cotswolds. The wood burner really added to our stay as we were unlucky with a very wet weekend. Catering by Rebecca made Saturday night really special.

Cosy, spacious, extremely comfortable, a home from home with beautiful surroundings. Stayed for a long weekend with my husband and 8 month old son, was just what we needed for a change of scenery. A quick drive to some amazing pubs and beautiful old towns too. Emma and Stuart were perfect hosts, whenever we had questions they answered straight away and made us feel very comfortable. Highly recommend!!!

We stayed in Southwold Barn for four nights. It is a beautiful barn in a beautiful location. The facilities were excellent and your every need was thought of, including fresh flowers and wine. The owners were more than helpful. Their suggestions of places to eat were all superb as were the places to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Southwold Barn and would highly recommend it.
