Have stayed at other locations in Maushop and this is by far the perfect location.

If you are headed to this part of the Cape, this is a wonderful condo - amazing location for Poppy marketplace, Inn. Beach access was a plus. Definitely need to be okay with steep stairs to access the bedrooms but it was perfect for our family of 3.

We had a wonderful stay!Relaxing: Plenty of space for my family of four (5yo and 2yo). We were initially nervous about having shared walls, since our 2yo is up early, but the walls are well-insulated and we never heard a sound from our neighbors. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. Mary and John were very responsive and provided a thorough "user guide" covering how to operate the A/C, where to find a hairdryer, recommended restaurants, etc.Convenient: The private beach is a short 2 minute walk, and there's a coffee shop, restaurant, and mini golf course at Popponessett Marketplace (note: if you're walking there, find the trail at the end of Wharf Ave rather than walking on Shore Drive W!). Mashpee Commons is ~10 minutes by car and has lots of restaurants (with takeout), shops, and a movie theater and bowling alley in case it rains. There's a designated parking spot and a second parking pass for visitor spots.Wouldn't hesitate recommending this to family or friends!

This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay in a very nice quiet part of cape cod. The hosts were very kind and communicated very well as needed. Highly recommend to anyone considering!

This cottage was adorable and well maintained. Mary was very prompt with responses for any questions. It was in a great location! Would recommend it for anyone looking for a stay in the area.

I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful place! The owners have anticipated every possible need/want and have equipped the house as such, which illustrates how much attention and care they put into this home. Everything was incredibly clean, comfortable, and decorated beautifully without being cluttered (we have two young boys, and didn't fear about breaking a single thing). The check in/check out process was smooth and I would absolute recommend this place!

Spent an amazing week with my family at this delightful property in Maushop Village! The place was impeccably clean, incredibly comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials for a perfect stay. The location couldn't have been better, and we truly cherished every moment spent here. Without a doubt, we'll be coming back for more memorable experiences. Highly recommended!

This was a great vacation! The house was lovely. We have stayed in Maushop Village for the last four years and it never disappoints. Our hosts were very welcoming and provided everything we might need for a vacation. I highly recommend this property.

would recommend this unit and would plan to return to this unit in the future.

The owners were wonderful and accommodating. The cleaning service they used were not as thorough as we would have liked, but the owner was very quick to work with us on making things right. We enjoyed our stay!

This house was perfectly situated, within walking distance to the shops as well as the beach. The Raw bar was an 8 minute walk- perfect! House was much smaller than it appears in the listing but had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, shower had great pressure and water was nice and hot. Check in process was super easy. Overall a great experience!

Staying at this property was perfect solution for me because of nearby wedding I needed to attend

This was our second visit to the Cape and to Maushop Village. We chose this cottage because it had a larger living space, eat-in kitchen and was a short walk to the beach. It certainly delivered, we had a wonderful week with our family of four and made unforgettable memories. The owners provided everything you would need for a perfect beach getaway. We also cannot say enough positive things about the Village which is a short walk from the cottage. We will definitely return!

Well provisioned cottage
The cottage was a very short walk to the beach and had nice patios front and back and balconies up and down. Every possible kitchen utensil and other type of supplies was provided. My only negative comments: there is very little counter space in kitchen. There is a Keurig coffee maker as well as an electric kettle to boil water for drip coffee. One electric drip coffeemaker would be better. Also the bedrooms have slanted ceilings, and very easy to hit your head. Queen bed has a metal bed frame-easy to walk into and injure yourself.

Perfect stay at Maushop
We had a fantastic stay at Maushop Village! The condo was immaculate when we arrived and every detail was thought of. We received an email from Mary prior to arriving with all of the information we needed about checking in and checking out as well as details about the condo and area. Mary responded quickly when I had a question and was always pleasant. We would 100% stay here again!

Perfect family Getaway!
Over all, EXCELLENT! Very clean. 5 stars. Lots of towels. We so much enjoyed the mini-balconies outside both bedroom and outdoor dining tables front and back. Good water pressure shower. Recommended for those over 5 years old as balcony posts are too widely spaced for young “slippery” toddlers. Owners left fun books for toddlers which were much appreciated. Owners provided beach chairs/umbrella. Owners provided a truly lovely setting. Owners very accessible and answered all questions very quickly.

Lovely cottage
The house is tiny but it has everything we need. Well organized and the owners are sweet people who were in touch and available the whole time.
The one thing I’d point out (but that goes for most rentals nowadays) is that check in is way too late and you waste a day. There is no explanation for such a small house to be checked out at 11am and checked in at 4pm. No one would take 5 hours to clean that house specially considering we already do most of the cleaning, stripping beds, taking trash out, starting dishwasher… and we pay a pretty expensive cleaning fee… all that makes no sense to me, and seems a bit upsetting overall.
Other than that the house is lovely!

Very nice property
We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy condo. The owners were very helpful by providing all the information we needed to have our best and most comfortable stay. The condo had everything we could want, from ziplock sandwich bags, to the convenient washer and dryer. The beach nearby was very nice. Thank you for taking good care of your renters.

Beautiful and clean!
Our family really enjoyed staying at this beautiful beach getaway. Everything was perfect. The owners were super nice, helpful, and quick to help with anything. The place was very clean, and had everthing you could possibly need. My family loves vacationing in Maushop Village, and we will definitely be coming back to this place in the future!

Excellent cottage near the ocean
We rented this property for a week-long visit to the Cape with my husband and parents. Property comfortably fits four adults, and the kitchen/common area has plenty of space for cooking, eating, and relaxing. The property is a five minute walk to a private beach, or a 30 minute drive to Woods Hole to hop on the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Mary was incredibly responsive and helpful with our questions, especially during such a difficult travel year like 2020.

Very pleased!
The condo was clean with great proximity to the beach! Me and 3 adult family members stayed here for a wedding and had plenty of room. The owners also sent plenty of COVID communication and I felt very comfortable staying there. Thank you!

Cozy condo close to private beach
The condo was as advertised... it is small but nicely appointed and enough room for 4 people. The bathrooms are small, but it is nice to have a separate half bath on the first floor. The king sized master bed was comfortable. Having AC is a real plus, as it is humid in summer. There is a small backyard with a nice dining table and a very small front area. If you are looking for a lot of private outdoor space this is not the place for you. Although this unit is between two other condos we did not hear any noise inside the house. The neighborhood is quaint, condos interspersed with some stand alone house, all in a similar clapboard style, interspersed with lovely blooming flowers— hydrangeas, roses etc.
The real draw of the condo is the location. It is about a 5 minute walk to a private beach. The water was warm enough to swim in mid to late June. Decent waves but not like the lower cape. This is a great beach for younger kids. You can also walk to the poppy marketplace which has a great seafood restaurant, pizza place, coffee shop and market. Mashpee commons is only about a 10 minute drive, offering many mostly upscale stores but also some local places. I like the bookstore near the fountain. There are also several restaurants including a Panera which was great when we didn’t want an expensive meal out. The cape cod coffee cafe has great coffee and breakfasts.
To get to other areas of the cape you will encounter a fair amount of traffic, at least in summer.
So overall a great getaway for a smaller group or family!

Good for our small group
The condo was just right for our group of four. The bedrooms and baths are small but pleasant and clean. We arrived in the dark and had a bit of a challenge figuring out which unit was the right one. We appreciated the ease of checking in and out and would stay there again.

The house was great. So nice to be near Popponesset - we could walk to the Market Place. We had a wonderful time.

A gem in the sand.
If you’re looking for Cape Cod style well appointed charming cottages, beautiful sunrises, quiet atmosphere, and a private beach ... look no further. Maushop Village is it. We’ll be back!

Rest and relaxation
The cottage was very sweet and the owners thought of all the accommodations you could need. My only suggestion would be to provide some kind of cooling unit as it was a hot week and it made sleeping difficult. There were oscillating fans but they provided little comfort. Otherwise, very charming!

Perfect vacation spot
I’ve been hearing about Maushop Village for years and it was everything I thought it would be and more! The property was perfect for our family of 5. The kids enjoyed riding their bikes to the candy store and ice cream shop. The short stroll to the beach was perfect and we really appreciated the use of all of the beach gear! It made packing so much easier! We will definitely be back! Overall, a lovely property that we would highly recommend!

Such a cute and comfy place!
We loved our brief stay at the lovely, well outfitted, and classy little beach cottage! It was clean, charming and perfectly located for our plans to ferry to Nantucket for the day then head up to the Cape Cod National Seashore on our second day trip. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful, lovingly decorated and cared for home!

Loved everything about it! Would definitely come back, have already recommended it to someone else.

Charming with great amenities!
Wonderful time in a sweet well-appointed cottage! The cottage was extremely clean and well cared for and located in a beautiful seaside area. We were able to enjoy the private beach, visit nearby towns of Falmouth, Cotuit, and Hyannis as well as Chatham. Recommend going to Cape Cod baseball games - fun free family fun! Because of the proximity to island ferries we daytripped to Martha’s Vineyard as well. The Poponneset area had many areas to explore as well as plenty of shopping and dining options. Thank you for a fantastic family vacation!!
