We stayed 6 nights at the property. Tonya went above and beyond in regards helping us organise transport as we had a late arrival at Cairns airport. The room was clean and comfortable and the resort has a lovely pool, a small but well fitted out gym and a pleasant bar / dining area. It is a short walk to 4 mile beach, but then about 3km to the patrolled swimming beach, fine for my wife and I but may be too far for some. If required a shuttle bus runs to and from the centre of town. We loved our stay in Tonya's apartment.

nice , comfortable room. has microwave and dishes and deep bathroom sinks for washing up. Restaurant at resort is reasonably priced. Resort is stunningly beautiful with nice pool and exercise room. Only 5 minute walk to beach ( but beach swimming only advised at patroled beach a 30- 40 minute walk away). Long way from downtown but there are shuttle buses that leave regularly ( approx $10 a day????) .

I highly recommend this place to stay it is such a clean beautiful place king size bed very modern decorated Tonya is such a lovely person to deal with she sent all info on places to go while holidaying in Port Douglas and the resort is amazing so much to do ,meals were great ,happy hour every day by the pool,short walk to the beach will definitely be telling everyone if they ever want to go to Port Douglas on holidays to stay here in this Apartment 👍

The host is a despicable bully!
I made a simple mistake in my booking and the host got so angry.
I have been a loyal Stayz guest for over ten years and never have I come across such rudeness and hostility. We felt so scared and unwelcome.
The small room is clean and very, very basic. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

A beautifully maintained and well cared for apartment set amongst lush tropical gardens in a fantastic resort. My son and I stayed here for a week and loved every moment. Excellent communication from the owner. Very glad we had the opportunity to stay here.

The unit was clean and with heaps of personality. The essentials of a large, satisfying shower and comfy mattress were well catered. Sony TV and included WiFi rounded out the experience. Direct beach access from the resort is helpful. Pool with swim-up-bar, conversation area and games deck were all appreciated. Thanks!

Summer break in Winter
Spacious deluxe room, comfy bed, well appointed with all mod cons. Attentive and communicative host. Located within a resort so surroundings are lovely. 300m from 4 mile beach. Local shuttle runs early until late up and down Port Douglas Road, so just call a mobile number for a pick up into town or back to the resort.

What a wonderful find!
If you’re wanting a spacious room, (large enough to comfortably include a sumptuous new King Size Bed with a sofa bed, coffee table and armchair to boot) then look no further! Tonya is a SUPERB host; thoughtful, kind, communicative and experienced. She made sure our stay was as perfect as possible. The resort is absolutely beautiful within, essentially it is a lush topical rainforest with enormous Melaleucas, streams, ponds, ferns, birds, boardwalks and calming green flora at every turn. The pool is lovely and the staff were always terrific.

lovely unit lots of road noise
I liked the property if I owned it I would change the bedside
tables for one with draws there are no draws to unpack in,
we were a little old for stepping shower. also the road noise
and building noise were our only problems the owner was wonderful with information. if was very comfortable .

Excellent position in great resort.
Comfortable, big bathroom, quiet position in great resort. Beautifully presented unit with enough kitchen items to make simple breakfast and lunch meals. We loved that a comfortable separate lounge area was created.

Circuit Breaker in Port Douglas
Wanted a place to stay after 2 months in camper trailer. Perfect. We were travelling with electric bikes so rode every day to heart of Port Douglas. Ramada also provides bicycles. Great apartment.

Great place to stay/getaway
Pictures don’t do this place justice! Beautiful sized room that was very clean and tidy! Great to be able to use all resort facilities besides the gym (not that we intended using it on holidays). Would prefer a better bed but overall a great place to stay!

Nice big room, lovely resort
Tonya's place is a private room inside the Ramada Resort. Room is spacious and check in was a breeze. We stayed for 7 nights. Tonya was a great host, quick response time to messages and helpful.

Ramada resort has an excellent restaurant and pool and is a short walk to the beach. Our room was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. Thanks for a lovely getaway from Melbourne's winter.

Trip to Australia
Fantastic room in great resort, very well equipped and owner exceptionally helpful. We had a fantastic few days visiting the reef and enjoying the start of our holiday in Australia. Would highly recommend.

A tropical homestay
We stayed here recently as a base for an adventurous 1st birthday with our daughter. It is in a great location not far from Port Douglas township but only a few minutes walk from the beautiful four mile beach. Close to local cafes, chippy and shops the fact it's also on a resort means you have access to a pool, restaurant and tour booking services if needed.
The room has all you need for a comfortable stay. Large bed, fully equiped bathroom and kitchen items if needed (Toaster, kettle, microwave).
Not far from the Highway means you can access Daintree, Mossman and Cairns easily and from Port Douglas you can get to the reef for diving, up the river for Croc spotting and the town has plenty of places to eat both local and international tastes.
Tonya, the homestay host, is great to communicate with and helpful with tips when needed. Thank you Tonya for letting us stay in your little escape pad in the tropics.
