El dormitorio del nivel principal cuenta con una cama queen size, televisión y un baño que también se abre a la sala familiar. La cubierta del nivel principal tiene una parrilla de gas (justo al lado de la cocina) y una bañera de hidromasaje para 4-5 personas en el lado de la vista de la casa. Arriba hay un sofá en el rellano y tres habitaciones. Uno con una cama king, televisión y baño privado y acceso a una terraza privada. Los otros dos tienen camas queen con televisores y comparten un baño Jack and Jill (baño compartido y ducha con lavabo a cada lado). En el piso inferior se encuentra el quinto dormitorio con una cama queen, televisión y baño que se comparte con la sala de juegos y una puerta a la terraza exterior. Location is great with Gatlinburg downtown just down the slope but takes about 15-20 mins to drive down. Quite neighborhood with a lot of construction going on after the wildfires
The furniture was dated in the house with squeaky mattresses to broken chair on the patio
We had an issue with a jack and Jill bathroom door not closing on either side . Contacted the property management company the first day, no one turned up till the next day and then also they were not able to fix it after multiple visits. So we had to use other bathrooms which was a big hassle
Contacted the owner and the only response I got was “sorry that it was not fixed” and nothing else
I am sure you can find better properties at that high price (given it was Labor Day weekend)
Overall good experience but not so impressed by the owner

Bear Necessities
My family of 8 stayed in Gatlinburg recently. We enjoyed our time in our home in Mountain Laurel Chalets. The location was perfect - we were close to downtown and many of the attractions and restaurants we wanted to see. I would highly recommend this location to other visitors!

Stayed at Bear Necessities June 16-19,2022. Very nice property The view was amazing, room for everyone, had one day at the pool. We've been staying with Mountain Laurel for over 20 years always very satisfied. Had a few little maintenance problems, but the staff was there ASAP. Had a bear cross the driveway on Saturday evening. Looking forward to next year's visit !

Stayed at Bear Necessity on June 10-16, 2022 on Village Loop Road. Cabin location provided easy access to downtown Gatlinburg(5-10 min) and a wonderful view of Mount Leconte. Chalet was spacious with full amenities, game room, three outdoor decks, hot tub and bright, mountain themed decor. Very well maintained and the rental staff was extremely efficient and pleasant in answering our questions and addressing any needs we had.
The pool and recreation area was within two minutes of the chalet, well maintained and staffed at all times.
Would completely recommend this and am looking forward to coming again in the fall (already booked!)!

Stay at Laurel Chalets
Overall stay was pleasant. Only complaint was that the outside trash bins should have been emptied during the week. We had a large group therefore we accumulated a lot of trash. Unfortunately we had to leave trash bags in the kitchen because there wasn’t any room In outside bin.

Christmas in the Mountains
This cabin exceeded our expectations. The view were gorgeous. The Christmas tree and decor throughout was a beautiful touch which made us feel warm and fuzzy! We even saw fireworks on NYE from the balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed which allowed us to cook up delicious meals for our family. We felt safe and right at home here. Cheryl and Pam were incredibly helpful and everyone was so accommodating. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Perfect for our vacation
Total of 7 of us stayed here and we had a great time! Loved the view and the hot tub. We were provided with everything we needed in the kitchen to cook meals. The house was clean when we checked in and the check in and check out process was easy. We would stay here again!

Four years in a row with family all in one house.
Need to bring everything you need on a daily basis. Example…Dishwasher only had 2 uses with what was provided for a weeks stay for a family of 10. Towels need to be updated. Gas grill’s propane tank was empty but was replaced the next day. Grease pan needed to be emptied, grease was over flowing. Large house nice kitchen set up for gathering. Everyone enjoyed their stay. 2 Outdoor lights were burnt out on main deck I called to report when we left but no one answered the phones that morning around 10:00. The toilet paper holder on the first floor also needs attention different anchors need to be used pulls away from placement. The bathtub also needs caulk you can see space at the floor and the flooring around that area moves.

Great views and space
The cabin was great. The views are breath taking and so close to the city. We did have a bear come into the drive way which you should expect. And the office is only a short drive from the house. 5 stars all around. Don’t waste your time looking for any other cabin if you are looking for a great 5BR 4BA

This a a great property for a large family with spacious main floor and seating. We really enjoyed the balconies. They provided a wonderful view of the bears who were very active. Be sure to follow directions and lock your car doors. One of cars was left unlocked and the bears did open the door, but didn't harm anything. Parking (and turn around area) was good. This property is very close to the pool and tennis courts.
The only negative is the check-in/check-out COVID procedures. Lack of extra blankets, towel service and having to return a paper pool pass to the office at checkout were a hassle that seemed unnecessary.

I loved this chalet. It had so much room and space for everyone. If you don’t know the roads it can be tricky but the directions you get it’s it’s easy to find. Driveway not to bad, I’ve had worse.
