The house is absolutely adorable. It was very clean and had everything we needed...and then some!! We all enjoyed our stay and felt at home here!

We were highly impressed by the cleanliness of this house and overall amenities offered. We are a family of 4 who brought our maltipoo along on a memorable vacation. The house was very well taken care of, offered many things to make your stay more comfortable (extra blankets, everything you could need in the kitchen, extra toiletries should you have forgotten anything, etc.). While we are out of the pack-and-play stage I greatly appreciated seeing one with sheets, etc. Kid friendly dishes, bowls and cups also offered were a pleasant surprise.
The location served us very well too. Kruse Park (dog friendly beach) is less than 5 minutes away and was phenomenal - clean, beautiful and much less crowded than the other beaches. We also took day trips to other towns making this location very convenient as well.
On a rainy day we took in the children's museum which was a hit for our 2nd grader and preschooler.
Note: Two beach chairs were available for us to use as well as a new washer and dryer. When reviewing prior reviews, these are mentioned as suggestions, so I'm happy to share they are now offered. Both made our stay more enjoyable.

Nice size of the yard, the look of the rooms are all nice, beds, kitchen stuff, TV everything. One issue is the rear steps. Really nice vacation.

We had never been to Michigan before. This home was super clean and cute! The host had it stocked up for us and she made our stay so easy and pleasant. It was very close to the beach and downtown restaurants.

The whole process was very easy. Brenda was responsive and helpful!
The house was very kid friendly with board games, books, etc. and really made our kids feel at home. Also, there are tons of playgrounds near this house so there was always a new place to check out.
Overall, the house w!s a joy to stay at!

The house is just about perfect. Our dog loved the dedicated dog blankets. Beds were all very comfy. The design: modern, warm, cheery. Our dog (and all of us) loved the front and back yards.

Outstanding host, a beautiful home in a great location. The host is quick to respond, kind, and really thinks of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I would 100% book again in the future.

The house and yard are very nice! Great fenced in yard for our dog. Only having one bathroom is the only downside. We had five people in the house and we made it work. Loved how the house was decorated! Would stay again!

The property was wonderful - so clean, very tastefully decorated, plenty of space. The host really went the extra mile thinking of everything we might need. The patio and yard were wonderful for eating outdoors and letting the dogs run. (The property is very dog friendly.) Just a short drive to the beach. Could not recommend this property more!

House is in nice shape. Great back yard. Not quickly walkable to the beach, but a short drive. Would be nice to have some beach chairs available. Overall a nice stay!

Nice little house but roomy. We had 7 people and 2 dogs but didn't feel like we were running into each other all the time. 1 bathroom was a little tough at times but overall not bad.

Brenda and her husband were very welcoming and great to work with. Always available if we had any questions. Quick replies when we did have any requests or questions. Would not heitate to rent from them again. All in all a great stay.

We were in Muskegon for a Memorial Service and to visit family. We were so happy with this darling home. The location was perfect and the beds were so comfy! Will definitely stay again.

We loved staying here! The fully fenced in yard was great and very private. We travel with our 2 large dogs who loved to play in the yard.
Beds are very comfortable and the decor of the home is beautiful. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook a full meal.
Location is great close to parks and the lake. Just a short drive to all attractions.

Brenda was fantastic!! Her house was adorable… we actually ended up staying in another one of properties because when we showed up at the original one we booked it smelled like animal urine.. so we stayed at her place on Lincoln that she offered us after I contacted her about the smell. This house was cute and clean!! Very inviting and comfortable. The back yard and bbq were great and she left a lot of extras for our shiba. We will definitely stay again if in the area. All the decor was so tasteful. Easy check in and check out.

This is a terrific property. First, the host/manager, Brenda, was super easy to work with and extremely responsive. The property is located in a very comfortable and walkable neighborhood, near Muskegon and South Haven.
The house is incredibly well equipped. It seemed like Brenda had thought of everything. There were many condiments in the refrigerator, lots of spices and other cooking needs, food storage (baggies, Saran Wrap, tin foil , etc,), plus everything you could need in a kitchen. There were good quality shower products, welcome goodie basket, and many tasteful decorations. The fenced in backyard is perfect - beautiful, private, spacious, including patio furniture and a fire pit. There is even a sunshade over the patio table. And this is the most dog friendly house I have ever been in.
There are lots of great restaurants near by but I highly recommend the Village Baker. It is a 20 minute ride but it is well worth it. The restaurant is eclectic, has a terrific menu, and the food was excellent. It is also part of a bakery so the bread was fresh and fabulous.

This house was perfect for our family of four and pup! It was well equipped, warm and inviting. The location was perfect for hiking, beach trips, and scenic drives along the lake. We really enjoyed s’mores around the firepit and the doggy supply basket, so sweet. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Brenda was wonderful to work with and very accommodating! My husband said," Brenda must have experience with the hospitality industry! She knows how to keep guests with pets comfortable!" The property is very dog friendly. A wonderful large, fenced in yard for the dogs, and a puppy basket for the dogs. We traveled with our toddler and dogs and this place was a haven to get to. Thank you Brenda and keep up the great work! We will be back!

2 friends and I stayed at the house for a girls weekend. We wanted somewhere comfortable, with close access to the beach and some good food options. This place was great, 2 bedrooms upstairs and one in a finished room in the lower level, on a quiet street. The home was very clean and stocked with seemingly everything you’d want or need, and lots of extra cute and considerate touches. There were toiletries in the bathroom, plenty of towels, extra blankets, coffee/tea, some snacks on the counter, a fire pit with firewood and lighters, a few games - so many little things that made the place such a pleasant and comfortable stay. Would highly recommend!

We stayed here for an end of summer family vacation and to visit Lake Michigan. This house had just about everything we needed: 3 bedrooms with double beds, a kitchen with everything we needed, a large table for eating and playing games, wifi and TV. Plus a large backyard, completely enclosed for our dog, with a firepit and gas/charcoal grill and plenty of outside seating. The owners were nearby and very responsive to questions. The only drawbacks for this property is that there is only one bathroom and it's small, but it worked for us. Also, it does not have a washer and dryer. But we would definitely stay here again!

This was a great little get away place. There is so many little things that make you feel like you are at home. Barbara goes above and beyond for her guest. She answered my questions promptly before and during our stay. I would recommend any of her properties to my friends and will stay in another one of her places if we come back to the area!!!

This was absolutely perfect for myself and my 4 kids. We went to Michigan Adventure 2 days. Grand Haven State park and the local Putt Putt place. Had an incredible time. House had everything we needed to eat there for meals. We’ll be back again.
