The location is fabulous – just a short walk to a nice, clean beach. The marsh views and back yard are wonderful, as described in the listing. The cottage itself was more challenging for our group size and family structure, which consists of 6 adults and 3 children including a toddler. The dining table had room for 6 people (not 8), so we couldn't all sit together for meals. Although the upstairs bedrooms accommodated 6 people plus the toddler in a folding crib, 2 people had to sleep downstairs. Sleeping options on first floor were a fold-out couch (twin size) in the living room and a futon in the sunroom. Neither of those two rooms have window curtains; thus, no privacy or protection from bright morning light. A final challenge for our particular group was that the doors, stairway and general indoor area were not possible to "baby proof." Overall, a great choice for a smaller group and those without young children.

We loved our stay. Host was available and very helpful, even left a delicious basket of goodies for us. Kitchen had everything we needed. Easy little walk to the beach. There's no air conditioning, but we didn't need it at all during our stay. Charming beach house. I'd definitely go back.

My party adored our stay. Everything we needed was present in the kitchen. There was plenty of seating in the dining and living rooms. The bathrooms were ultra modern. The rear patio/seating areas were exceptional—comfortable and focusing on the lovely views. We would definitely stay again.

Our stay at the Pine Point Cottage was to die for! Somehow even cuter in person than in the pictures, this cottage met and exceeded all of our needs! Stephanie was such a great host and even texted to see if i needed recommendations in the area. The view from the back deck is unbeatable and offered a lot of wildlife viewing opportunites. The location is perfect, close to the beach and you can walk to restaurants. We are already looking forward to coming back!

We had a great time staying at this cute little cottage in Pine Point. It was comfortable and well managed. I did message the owner about some mildew around the washer and at the bottom of the shower curtain and didnt hear back, so I was a little disappointed in that. I'd expect a little better communication considering we paid a premium for this place during the week of July 4th.

We rented this property for an anniversary trip and it perfectly fit our needs and desires. We were greeted by a sweet basket and card from our hosts and a cozy home all to ourselves. It was a convenient short drive into Portland and a short walk or bike to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Lovely cottage with charming details. Appreciate the welcome bag with lots of goodies! The location was perfect, short walk to Scarborough Beach which is miles long. Also close to the Eastern Trail which is great for walking or biking. The backyard was also charming for watching the sunset. Also, recommend for dinner Pine Point Grill and Nonesuch River Brewing. Very good! This cottage was well equipped and a great getaway.

Perfect location to relax. Pictures on the listing are accurate. Beach is super close and house is walkable to good restaurants. Hosts were very welcoming, house was clean and well equipped. Bring a fan or two if forecast is going to be hot. The house cools at night with the sea breeze but it takes time to cool off if you’ve been out and closed things up while gone. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Perfect for us
Perfect for us! Such a cute cottage house with a perfect amount of space to hang out and visit with friends and family. We came to Scarborough for a wedding weekend and this house was just what we needed. We found a very thoughtful welcome basket in the refrigerator with welcome goodies. The backyard is a peaceful beautiful spot with deck and chairs, party lights and sweet view. The online pictures are an excellent representation of the house and yard. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely use this house again.

Charming, All the comforts of home!
My family and I rented the Nonesuch Cottage and it was great! We had my parents, my husband and I, and my two kids aged 7 and 5 yo. The cottage has a great open concept downstairs, and laundry and large full bath upstairs. Great to have 1.5 baths. The backyard is so charming, and a beautiful view of the marsh. Extremely short walk to the beach and seafood shops. We appreciated the red wagon and beach chairs! My kids enjoyed playing in the sunroom. Thanks for wonderful memories!

Wonderful stay!
My family and I enjoyed this beach home so much! My parents, my husband and I, and my two children (5 and 7) were quite comfortable. Very charming, and importantly all the comforts of home! My kids were happy to have the red wagon to pull to the beach. There’s a fire pit and a beautiful out door patio, and grill outside. We appreciated the welcome basket and binder of nearby activities/food etc. Wonderful week, you won’t be disappointed!!

Family Get Away
This small but cozy cottage was wonderful for a long weekend away for our family of three adult couples. The cottage was spotless. The kitchen and the baths in this cottage have been beautifully renovated. All the beds are comfortable; a rare find! The cottage is a two block walk from a lovely beach which we frequently visited. We were greeted with a sweet basket of goodies, and our host promptly answered the one question we had. Recommended!

Wonderful wedding weekend
We stayed at the house for our wedding weekend, and it was perfect. The house is so cute, the yard is fabulous, and the town is of course always great. We got married at The Landing and could easily walk. Cant wait to stay again for our anniversary

Vacation
We enjoyed the fact that the beach is so close. The owner was very responsive. But the property was outdated. There were plenty of things that we loved: the grill, the games/puzzles/the beach. The mosquitoes were atrocious, but the owner explained that he didn't want to use pesticides, which we completely believe in. However, the setting was so hard to not want to sit outside and enjoy. We literally had to run to the car.

Perfect Rental for Our Group
This property is a great rental, had everything our group could have wanted - only regret is we couldn't stay longer!
Property manager has rental well equipped and they pay attention to the details to make your stay comfortable (too many to mention, but if you need something they are likely to have it). We were greeted with a nice gift basket upon arrival, which was a nice touch.
Easy walking location - quick walk to a great beach spot, walking distance to several restaurants and a coffee shop for your morning coffee. Could just park the car and leave it in the driveway if you wish. Great location to explore other parts of Maine if you choose to, with short drives to other attractions.
Great marsh view for evening sunsets.
The 3 bedrooms accomodated 6 adults and 2 infants - rooms were on small side, but not tiny. Bathrooms were nice, but only one shower. No air conditioning, which made upstairs a little warm - fortunately the temperatures were not too hot during our stay.

Perfect Pine Point getaway
This house on the marsh in Pine Point was terrific. The house was clean, the location easy to walk to beach, and the views over Scarborough Marsh were fantastic. Coffee on the enclosed front porch in the morning and wine on the marsh in the evenings, who could ask for more? Bayleys lobster and The Stern are easy walking distance for great views, and seafood.
The owners were wonderful and very responsive when we reached out to them.
This is definitely a repeat vacation rental for us in the future!

Beautiful, charming, cozy cottage in a lovely setting!
We had a great mini family reunion here. The cottage is super cozy and rustic. Bathrooms are very clean and new, which was a plus. Location is great. Close to nature yet not far away from great restaurants and shops. Bonfires nightly overlooking the beautiful open space out back. Owners were incredibly welcoming and responsive. We had a wonderful time and will return!

Perfect Beach Getaway
This cottage was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway. The space was clean and had a lot of character. The bathrooms were updated and there were so many special added touches the hosts included in our stay that made us feel welcome in the small community. We loved hauling our stuff a couple blocks to the beach in the red wagon, using the nice beach chairs and beach towels. We had never been to that part of Maine before, and the photos and description of the beach were 100 percent accurate and exactly what we were looking for in a girls getaway weekend. We took an Uber to Portland one day, and spent another day on the beach. We also explored the suggested seafood place right down the street and the bar located in the log cabin. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket and handwritten note, which was a very nice touch. I hope to return to Pine Point again and would most definitely recommend and stay at this cottage again. We absolutely loved it!!

All the amenities you need - towels, linens etc. Not big bedrooms with poor lighting, but only there to sleep. Code on the door so you don't need to worry about keys. Washer and dryer was a huge plus. Well stocked kitchen, great grill. Updated bathrooms. Very clean. Nice coastal decor. The beach within walking distance was very private and nice. Beach chairs provided .

Perfect get-away!
This is an adorable little cottage! The owners tended to every little detail from window boxes full of flowers to a welcome basket with wine and chocolate. The home was sweetly decorated - a true beach cottage with rich wood paneling and tons of windows that blew in the ocean breezes. For me this was a weekend get-away with old college roommates and it was perfect - beautiful, quiet, and very comfortable!
