Very comfortable house with large rooms and a magnificent view. The national park pass provided with the rental was much appreciated. Only small downside: 6 beach chairs would have been appreciated. Thanks to Jessica and Craig!

We stayed at this property in late June of 2024, and were so pleased with everything about this experience! The property was clean, inviting and much larger than the pictures let on! We had 4 adults and two children (5 and 7) and found that the property more than met our needs as a group. It was private, comfortable and truly a wonderful home base for our adventures exploring the island! The view and proximity to the walking path, park and beaches were a real asset! We were very comfortable and the hosts were very responsive to any questions we had! We are already dreaming about trying to book again for the 2025 season we loved it so much!

Our mom turns 75 this year & it has been her dream to visit the east coast. This beautiful home could not have been a better choice along the way. The history & charm of this home made our stay even more magical! Our lovely hosts thought of everything! The home is beautifully stocked with everything you could need & they are more than happy to communicate with you if you have any questions. Craig stopped by for a short visit to make sure we were comfortable - so appreciated! The property is quaint & relaxing & morning coffee on front porch was a favorite so if you would have walked by you would have seen & heard four bubbly excited women!! How can you not be excited when you feel like you are in a story book setting for such a short moment in time!??!! Pinch me!!! The house is a short 5 minute walk, or a short easy drive to the colorful harbour front. I truely cannot praise this home, the location & our hosts enough. You will simply have to come see for yourself or this review will go on forever! Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your amazing home!!

2 couples on a golf getaway/ site seeing trip. House was very clean. Location was very convenient for site-seeing trips, airport, etc.

This is a superior rental property overlooking Covehead Bay. The rooms are spacious, furniture comfortable, and all very clean. The kitchen and bathrooms are well supplied with the necessities. All the beds are comfortable with nice linens. I would definitely stay here again on another visit.

We absolutely loved the big windows in the living room allowing lots of light and a gorgeous view of the bay. The second living room on the back of the house was perfect to do exercises and yoga. We did find the converted garage/king bedroom a bit far from the bathroom. Next year, we will have four couples and would definitely book again if this house had another bedroom and another bathroom, which we all felt could easily be done with not a great expense. We loved the paved walking trail that we could access easily. Once we discovered "The Stanhope Beach Resort", we Googled it and found all about it's grandeur, history and destruction. We had a great visit. Thank you.

The Stanhope Bay home was comfortable and spacious for our girls getaway and the sunset off the front porch was spectacular. Communication with the property owner was always prompt, helpful and friendly.

Most enjoyable. Walking distance to National Park , ocean beaches and golf course. Great boardwalk along the bay. Home was immaculate and comfortable with modern decor and lots of room to spread out. Was well equipped for meals and entertainment. Info book with points of interest details was most helpful.
Wonderful views with large deck overlooking the bay. Deck included an outdoor dining area. Nice weather too.

The owner was really helpful. It's a lovely large house, spotlessly clean. The photos you see on the site are completely accurate. The location was great, the view overlooking the bay was amazing particularly at sunset. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Highly recommend PEI and this property

We had a wonderful PEI vacation with our family of 4. The proximity to Ross Lane beach (3 min drive/15 min walk) is tough to beat! Access to Charlottetown for supplies, activities, etc. was painless (20 min drive). There was plenty of space and the open nature of the cottage proved to be very family friendly. We hope to visit again soon!
