Our family decided to do something different for the Thanksgiving holiday. So we decided to rent a house near the beach. The house was very clean, super close to the beach...just a quick walk across the street. We were so happy with our stay, and the weather cooperated…it was in the 70s the entire week! We’ll definitely be back, hopefully during the summer.

Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Great customer service. Newly updated residence with nice amenities. Enjoyed every moment!

We loved our stay at this house! It was clean, had great parking, and had plenty of space for our group. We loved using the bikes provided to ride along the boardwalk and were grateful to use the beach chairs as well. The property is very well taken care of.

Property is well maintained with great owner. All rooms had great beds, even though we only used 2 rooms. The only small complaint I have is you can hear any person walking in the upstairs unit. Everything else, A+.

Staying here was a great experience! 5 stars. Everything was as it showed in the pictures and descriptions but even better. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything you could need. The walk to the beach is a couple minutes and very convenient. Some great restaurants close by as well. We will definitely be staying here again.

We really liked this house! Just a short walk to the water, and also to food and drinks! We loved that there were bikes, towels, and boogie boards provided!

This property was ideally located 6 minutes from Balboa pier, 4 minutes from the Fun Zone, and 4 minutes to either the beach or the marina. The space was right sized for four adults and had a fully appointed kitchen. Everything was in working order, and the property manager was thorough, professional, and prompt in her responses. The shower in the garage was incredibly convenient, and the inclusion of beach cruisers and beach gear was very, very convenient. The finishes and cleanliness of the space made for a very relaxing stay.

We stayed here for a few days for a beach getaway and loved it. GREAT location - walkable to almost everything. Close to the beach, pier, restaurants and shopping. Plenty of beach chairs, bikes, etc. Well appointed place with A/C - a big plus as it was pretty hot during our stay. Garage parking also a great perk. Wish we had a few more days there!

Besides being beautiful like a model home it was comfortable, roomy and functional! I was so impressed with how there was all the tools I needed to cook as we cooked a lot. It was like being at home, seasoning, casserole dishes, Cuisinart pots and pans ,etc. We loved every thing. But probably should have called fir more TP with 6 women but luckily we brought our own.

Property is beautiful, newly remodeled, and very well-maintained. Walking distance to everything we needed, Balboa pier a short walk away. The owner was very responsive .. everything was perfect for our family vacation!

The lower unit was beautifully decorated and well equipped. Our extended family of seven adults and children were very comfortable there. I highly recommend this rental unit. It’s location. In a quiet neighborhood was ideal for us. We were in walking distance to the Fun Zone, Balboa Ferry, and breakfast eateries.

We had a wonderful time at this property. Plenty of room for 3 adults 4 kid's. Was very clean and the place had everything we needed to cook with. Short walk to the beach and overall a fabulous place to stay. Would recommend to all!

If you want a clean place by the beach, this is a terrific option. Very very clean all throughout the house. It was a little smaller than I thought it would be but still enough space for a family of 5. The main bedroom is great for adults, the other two rooms are in the small side, small beds but if you aren’t in the house much it’s not a big deal. Remember it’s lower unit, if you are a light sleeper the noise above you is quite loud. Squeaky floor above. That’s probably my only complaint of any significance. You share use of the garage (if you have a big SUV you will not fit in the garage. The rental has a ton of beach chairs, towels, beach toys, 6 bikes all included. This was nice. There is a BBQ grill as well. We liked that the house was only a short walk to the beach and a block from the pier and balboa fun zone. So you don’t have the noise of the beach front homes or the pier front homes. Quiet neighborhood. I like a softer bed, the master bedroom bed was harder than I like but not the worst I’ve had. The proximity to restaurants is nice as well. Not right in the thick of it but not far at all. I’d say the price is a little higher than we wanted to pay but for how clean it was, it was probably worth it. One thing that I wasn’t aware was there is a decent size deposit on top of the rental rate. You get it back a couple of weeks after your stay (at the time of this review I don’t think it’s been refunded but I’m watching for it). There is a prettt detailed list of items you need to keep track of to be sure you get the whole deposit back. The property is reall well managed and taken care of. Really professional and quality management and owners.

The house is nice and close to the beach. The neighbors are very sensitive to noise and will contact the owner after 10pm. Owner does not want guests over the sleep capacity of 8, so the listing needs to state that. We had friends and family over and we’re told I was in breech of the contract because I had more than 8 people on the property. We only had 8 people Staying but apparently that was not the expectation of the owner. I was told that I would have to vacate because we were too loud and had more than 8 people at the house, and that I was being watched by camera.As a VRBO owner myself, this part of the trip was a huge disappointment and I felt like I was being watched and micromanaged. It made me uneasy for the rest of the trip.

Booked this home for a weekend getaway. The house is very clean, comfortable and just like the photos. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Unfortunately, it was a rainy weekend so we did not get to enjoy the beach or the bikes that were available to us . But the home is in a great location, quiet street, close walk to the sand, and within minutes to the Balboa Fun Zone/pier and restaurants. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

House was exactly as advertised - had everything the 7 of us needed to enjoy the weekend. The 2 parking spots was a welcome bonus.

Clean, spacious and updated throughout! Flat-screens in every room made it a great way to watch all the Holiday football games! Check-in process was seamless and great communication in prep of stay. Would highly recommend this home if you are coming to the Balboa Peninsula/Newport Beach, CA area!
