Very nice

Owner was very attentive, outdoor amenities were gorgeous, great location. Unit itself was nicely decorated but in need of TLC. Ceiling vents were filthy, blinds were falling off windows (did see new ones in the closets), needed a good deep cleaning. The staff was attentive but a bit pushy with buying their food/beverages poolside, coolers not permitted in pool area nor could you bring in your own food.

The apartment was great, nice and clean, plenty of room for 4 people. The building amenities were also great, nice and clean pool area, beautiful beach. The food/drinks at the bar are pricy, and they won’t allow bringing your own food to the pool, but that was fine. The location could have been better, not much to do in the area, the closest supermarket is about 10 minutes away, we had to Uber there, also around 10-15 minutes to the South Beach area where all the action is. But for the price of the apartment it was worth it, you can’t find anything cheaper than this further south. Overall we really enjoyed our little vacation and would love to come back!

Nice clean apartment located by the beach with view of the ocean. The apartment looks exactly as is presented in the photos. The pool area is also very nice. The owner was helpful and responded promptly to our inquires. The free trolley on Collins street was convenient and useful with a stop right in front of the hotel (it runs every half hour weekdays and every hour weekends until 11 pm). The only reason I am giving it 4 stars not 5 is because there were not enough towels (you can do laundry but that was not on my list of things to do on vacation or pay $35 for extra towels) We also ran out of toilet paper by the end of the stay. We did not rent a car and there is no store in walking distance either. Bring extra toilet paper.

The place, the amenities, the beach, the food, the pool, the staff, the stores and everything in this place is super great! Thank you! We’ll be back!

Everything was ok not luxurious but fine and well equipped

Just disappoint.

We enjoyed our stay! the property has a balcony with a wonderful ocean view & a short walk to the beach is very convenient; the layout of rooms was perfect for our 4 guest party. Our host Joe was very responsive to a few minor issues that arose & in a very timely manner. I would definitely recommend this property for a Paradise Getaway !! We hope to vacation here again! The location is ideal if you love the beach. the amazing Miami boardwalk is right out the back fence and you can run, bike, or jog for miles. Construction is still going strong in the complex and only one small pool is available for use. The two hot tubs are also extremely small. The thing that messed with us is in order to park a vehicle at the condo costs anywhere from $30 a night to 45 a night, payable directly to the valet parking services provided ( you are not allowed to self park). This added another $350 to our trip that we were not planning on.

Great room! Awesome beach and pool!

Overall our stay was really good. Joe was extremely helpful and very quick to answer all of our questions. He is really one of the best VRBO hosts we have had. I would say the pictures of the place do not do it justice. The condo was really nice, good balcony, well equipped with everything you need for a stay. Including towels, 3 big screen TV's with full cable, kitchen supplies well stocked, shampoo and body wash etc and even a cooler for the beach! The pool area was nice and not over crowded and they do supply towels for the beach and pool. The staff at the Alexander were all really nice and friendly, and checking in and out was done in under 5 mins!There were a few downsides. The food and drinks were quite expensive by the pool and you could not bring in your own, but really the beach was awesome and right there so.... The elevators were a problem. There are only 2 that service the entire Alexander. We often used the stairs (6 floors) because it sometime took over 10 mins. for an elevator. I feel this would be a deal breaker for some which is why I do mention it, for us we just dealt with it and it didn't negatively impact our vacation.

I'm giving this property 5 stars because the host was wonderful. He answered questions promptly and was very friendly. He never seemed bothered at all. The pictures for his place on VRBO don't do it justice. This place has a balcony with an ocean and harbor view which we sat on a lot. It is totally equipped with everything you need and cooler to take to the beach. It was clean and there were plenty of towels for us, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, tp, paper towels, etc... The only downside to this was that we had to pay to wash them down the hall and had to do that a few times because we had a family of 5 there and my kids sometimes forget to hang up their towels to dry. But the washer/dryer was always open and I never had to wait. Joe lets you know on his description that this was the washer/dryer option, so I was prepared for that. Others have complained about the check in process and front desk but we didn't have to much trouble, no one was super friendly or helpful but they got their job done. In the pool area you are only allowed to buy the drinks the bar/restaurant sells and they were very expensive, we did spend most of the time at the beach so this wasn't such a big deal but once in awhile we wanted to go the pool and we had to pay the overpriced drink charge. We had rented a car so we were able go find restaurants and drive to them but not much within walking distance. There is a HUGE grocery store within 5-10 minutes depending on traffic and there are many restaurants in that area. There is a bike rental place across from this resort and a bus stop if that would be an option if you didn't have a car. Again, I'm giving this place 5 stars because of the host and his accommodations. The resort itself I would go a bit lower due to slow elevators, drink prices and the $150 (plus tip) parking valet fee that isn't included with the resort. The unit we rented from Joe was more than accommodating .Everything was overall excellent thank you Joe
