Alta Mira - Katoomba
Alta Mira se encuentra en una tranquila calle arbolada en Katoomba, rodeado de sus jardines y casas de estilo vecinas de la Federación. Una renovación hace varios años conservado cuidadosamente la mejor de las características de la época, tales como el baño de dosel Inglés original importado en el baño principal, mientras que la adición de una nueva cocina moderna magnífica y otro cuarto de baño moderno. Alta Mira puede alojar hasta 15 personas (2 dormitorios x Reina, 1 x habitación doble, 4 individuales en un dormitorio, además de una terraza acristalada separada con un doble y una cama individual. Opcional sofá-cama en el salón.) Hay dos baños que sirven a la casa: el cuarto de baño de estilo eduardiano original con el vidrio bañera y WC dosel de cadena tirar, además de un baño moderno con ducha y bañera de hidromasaje.
Otras características para el disfrute de nuestros huéspedes incluyen un casi nuevo televisor de pantalla plana grande LCD y reproductor de BluRay, acceso WIFI gratuito, televisión independiente que se ejecuta el cuadro de juegos, dos con Bluetooth altavoces, y un piano periodo de aficionados a la música, además de libros, juegos, videojuegos para el GameBox y DVDs.
Alta Mira cuenta con calefacción central en toda la casa, incluyendo calentador de toallas en los baños. También hay una chimenea de gas en el comedor para un gran ambiente y la comodidad también. Hay mantas eléctricas suministradas en todas las camas.
Alta Mira está a sólo unos minutos a pie de Katoomba Street, con sus cafés, restaurantes y tiendas, pero está escondido en una tranquila esquina de Katoomba. Perfecto para una escapada de montañas, se obtiene lo mejor de ambos mundos. Ir a dar un paseo a Katoomba Town Centre, tomar un paseo ligeramente más a las tres hermanas, o simplemente pasear por los jardines privados del Alta Mira y luego acurrucarse en el interior con calefacción central y muy bien amueblado de Alta Mira.

It was a freezing mid-winter weekend so 11 of us (4 couples and 3 kids) really enjoyed this large warm comfortable house with great kitchen, dining and lounge facilities. Lovely to return to and relax in after a brisk walk! One limitation for some groups would be that although it has 2 bathrooms, one of them is only accessible by walking through 2 bedrooms.

We had a fabulous time in this beautiful, character filled house. The weather was horrible when we arrived, but the house was warm and welcoming. Sun came out next morning and we got to explore the gorgeous gardens.

We had a beautiful weekend in this lovely old house. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms spacious and comfortable.

Relaxing and cosy for groups
We really enjoyed our stay, great kitchen and all the extras for cooking for a large group. Only downside was front bedroom was missing a curtain which doesn't help with sleeping in. Also doors need oiling as some creaminess. Overall house is beautifully restored and well maintained.

Toasty warm and comfortable.
As a large family group we were very comfortable in this historic home. We had ample room and the house is generously supplied with lovely linen as well as household staples. On a cold week-end the home was comfortingly warm. We’ll be back!

Beautiful mountain getaway.
The property met our needs very well. The crisp white linen on all beds was lovely. The house had a delightful feel and was beautifully warm. The different spaces catered very well for our diverse family group. The layout and access to the second bathroom put a bit of pressure on the main bathroom. We would definitely book this property again.

Alta Mira is a beautiful old house with a colourful history in a quiet street in central Katoomba. It was perfect for our needs with large living areas and space to spread out. Would definitely recommend for large groups who want some space.

Large house with a cosy feel
We travel to the Blue Mountains every July as a group of approx 12 adults and kids. This was our first time staying at Alta Mira and we loved it. It was such a great space. Lots of room for the kids and adults to hang out comfortably without getting in each other's way. Lovely bedrooms and cosy communal areas. Very nice kitchen with all the utensils that you could possibly need.

Great Location
Arrived to find a dishwasher full of dirty dishes and could not work the machine so had to hand wash someone else's mess. Contacted the Owners but did not hear from them all weekend. This property is in a great location and easy to walk into town and local sites. There is an eclectic mix of china, glassware and kitchen ware but was fine for our night in by the fire in the dining room. The house is warm, cosy and spacious but could do with some TLC.

Fabulous house
Our extended family of 14 had a great weekend. The house is really warm, and very comfortable. Sofa bed very uncomfortable so take a blow up mattress if you need the extra bed. The yard is lovely but isn't secure.

Wonderful experience
We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away at Altimira. I was there on a girls weekend and there were 12 of us and the house was ideal for a visit. Cosy and secure, I would recommend this location for a group holiday.

Wonderful Stay!
This place is just beautiful. We had Christmas here and the 11 of us stayed so comfortably here. It's close to town and the hosts are so wonderful and cooked us a turkey and vegggies for Christmas lunch that was delicious!
So much space and a beautiful yard with lots of space and reason to be outside. Highly recommended!

Family group of 4 couples had a comfortable weekend in this house. Great lounge area for a group and the kitchen had everything we needed. Beautiful grounds with daffodils, jonquils and camellias - Sept is the perfect time to visit. Located close enough to walk to Echo Point or the main street. We will be back.

All 9 of us enjoyed the house. Lots of space to have time out in. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Kitchen had many pots, utensils etc that we could use. Close to main street of Katoomba. A great relaxing stay,
