The location was great, beautiful views. The cottage was warm, comfy and very clean. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful. It was great to have a large garden and paddock to walk our pup in and bonus that it linked onto a lovely bridleway so we could go further.

There was nothing we didn't like, however it would have been nice to have a small kitchen area to prepare our own food, we only stayed 1 night so wasn't an issue but if we'd stayed longer it would have been nice to have the option. Also, it would have been nice to have WiFi so I could work and we could stream something to watch as we had no DVDs to watch.

Had an amazing stay. Everything was perfect. Amazing kind friendly hosts, outstanding breakfast, comfortable bed, exceptionally clean & beautiful surroundings. Some lovely walks directly from the cottage so peaceful. Would definitely return and lovely for our dog Milo including welcome treats for him.

Penny made us very welcome,nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Beautiful property and wonderful owners, we felt like we were staying with friends or family, so warm and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing, very accommodating and served in private dining area exactly at the time agreed! Beautiful views from the property all round, secluded and very peaceful!

Limited kitchen facilities, we travelled with a baby and therefore used the bathroom sink to wash bottles prior to sterilising, it worked fine and I think this was more of an oversight my end though and a presumption there was a kitchen! If we’d have asked the owners would have probably provided anything we needed though!

Excellent stay, superbly comfortable sleep followed by a massive and tasty breakfast, a peaceful location with friendly hosts, perfection!

owner was exceptionally helpful. we stayed for first night after wedding at Baumber Walled Garden so location was great for that. beautifully presented breakfast. great views.

Spacious accommodation. Nice to have lounge area to chill out. Mini fridge very useful for snacks and drinks. Super comfy bed with delicious breakfast. Everything you could ask for at good value for money.

Would have been handy to have plates and cutlery as we took food back due to rural location. I’m sure if we had asked this could have been provided as host lovely.

Lovely location, really quite with beautiful views across the countryside. Fabulous accommodation split across two floors. Breakfast was fabulous home cooked really tasty and served in your own private dining room. Penny was really friendly and could do enough for us.
