Tranquil acres is truly deserving of its name; we really enjoyed the house and picturesque backyard and backdrop. Very relaxing indeed.
Our kids very much enjoyed the small property walking trails although more so feeding the horses. Very pleasant and peaceful to have the quiet and serene farm setting.

Our family loved staying at Tranquil Acres. We were in town for a family gathering. The house is beautiful and very comfortable for a family stay. Our grandchildren loved playing in the large, mowed pasture in, feeding the horses next door, and the game room was a big hit.

We are a party of four women who have been enjoying annual girls trips for decades. This was our 20th trip together and the setting and quality of the house was perfect for us. Everything was clean and tidy. The bedrooms spacious and the beds comfy. The kitchen was so well appointed with everything we could need. The most special part of our experience was the two horses who live on the back pasture. We loved feeding them the carrots and we want to say thank you for giving us that opportunity. Wonderful property and owners!

We had a great stay at Tranquil Acres. The house is clean and exactly as pictured. Our kids loved visiting the horses in the backyard. The hosts checked on us regularly.

From the time we checked in, until our departure, everything about our stay was perfect. The host was attentive and the house was fully stocked and lovely. We enjoyed feeding the horses and goats during our visit. The property was tucked a little out of town, but close enough for a quick drive for a meal or shopping. We would definitely stay again!

We were close to everything! But not too close so we got to have our space. Visiting for a wedding can be chaotic with all the family and friends. I loved how this place had so much room and was very clean. Lots of hangout seating and we all LOVED the game room !!! We will definitely rent this place again when coming back to Sonoma County.

We loved this home for a small family get together! It’s so hard to please four adults as well as a 7, 4, and 2 year old but this house made it easy! From the comfy couches, to amazing game room with foosball air hockey and ping pong, to the great hot tub, to friendly horses and goats - what’s not to love?! Fantastic family wine retreat, 10/10 would recommend

We rented the house for a birthday getaway with some friends. The property was very clean, neat, and everything was well laid out. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some lovely dinners together. It even had extra appliances such as an instant pot in addition to a toaster, coffee maker, etc.
All the rooms were very comfortable and everyone in the group slept comfortably. The big draw was the game room. which had a ping pong table, foosball table, and an air hockey table. Made for some fun competition and a ton of laughter among the 5 of us!
Highly recommend this property for a little get away while being centrally located in Santa Rosa. Great for a group of friends or a family trip!

Great house. Very clean. Incredibly well stocked kitchen. Everything you need is there. The property is quiet and off the main roads, yet easy to get around the area. Would definitely stay here again! Randy was super helpful, responsive. Great communication. So much to do from wine tasting to zip lining and kayaking, cheese tasting. Love the yard, great summer evenings on the deck/in the hot tub. Absolutely gorgeous. So glad we pushed for a late summer get away - great stay!

Great home, wonderful kitchen. Backyard is large and a lot of fruit trees. Great place to relax on deck and eat at the outdoor table.
My kids enjoyed seeing the horses and goats in the neighbors yard.
The playroom is above the garage and very well equiped for entertainment w table tennis, air hockey and a TV. Kids had a blast spending time there.
Beds were comfortable. Master bedroom has a nice office w a pull out sleeper.

Location is secluded and rural though minutes from town. The house was spotless. Entrance was easy with keypad. House is very roomy. Well equipped. Couldn’t get outdoor grill to fire up, but no big deal. Having carrots ready for guests to feed the horses was a nice and fun touch. We would highly recommend staying here with a family. We were visiting our adult daughter and came with our adult son. Because the house was large, she came and spent the weekend with us. One small recommendation would be to add a couple comfortable chairs in the den area besides just the couch and love seat. For the four of us wanting to hang and talk it was a bit awkward. All in all a very nice stay.

Excellent Country Home
This property was the perfect setting for our family to visit friends in Sebastopol. We loved the location close to our favorite winery, Balletto, and how close it was to town. The game room above the garage was a favorite for our teenage sons and they loved having their own place to hangout. The backyard was perfect for playing cornhole (provided), baseball and watching the turkeys pass through the field. Inside the home was spotless and had everything you could need for making your own meals at home and having friends over for dinner. Our whole family felt right at home and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great for multiple generations
Tranquil Acres was a wonderful home for our group of 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and one tween. We chose it in part because of the game room, and once we found it over the garage, it kept my son entertained and engaged with the adults. Its distance from the main house also insured that noise from the games or morning cartoons did not disturb others. We all enjoyed feeding the horses and the beauty of the rural surroundings. There was plenty of space in the house to spread out, read, cook, eat, and watch TV. My mother was quite impressed with how well-equipped and organized the kitchen is, especially compared to other vacation rental experiences she has had. We appreciated that everything in the house was clean and well-labeled.

Fantastic weekend getaway
We were delighted with the property! Our family of 6 had a wonderful time, the kids especially enjoying the game room. Initially there was a problem with the hot water, but with one call Randy got someone to come over to fix within hours and it was working again. Excellent service!

Home was beautifully maintained and very clean with the best equipped kitchen. Lots of options for engaging in some competitive activities such as ping pong, foosball, air hockey and cornhole. Lovely deck and hot tub as well. Close to town but in a country setting. Really enjoyed our stay.
