Location is good, walking distance to town. House is big and can cater around 20pax. The staff there (Abang) is friendly. Owner also gave us alot of information regarding the restaurants, food, island package, etc.
Both living room (upstairs & downstairs) have no ceiling fan. There is only one stand fan for the entire house. It is very very hot. Air conditioner inside the rooms are not cold enough in the afternoon. The house is abit run down. Some upgrading works will make it more comfortable. And its full of mosquitoes inside and outside the house (wondering if its mosquito season).

Being able to cook and the host was lovely. It was nice having an outdoor space we could relax in and only a 10 mim walk into town. We even went back there twice between island hopping. Thank you!

The house is big, have many room.. can bbq outside, also wont have to worry because there is in-house staff to help setup the bbq place.. the in-house staff is very nice to us
No privacy, this place is not homestay where u rent the whole place to yourself, it is more like lodging hotel; you only rent the room & there can be another person renting there, except you can have bbq here.. plus the shared toilet is full with flies because there are "gold" in the toilet bowl

Abang, the housekeeper was super helpful. Not to mention super kind. He offered to give me a lift everywhere. Not just the jetty in the morning but even when I wanted to go for dinner.
Place was small but clean and comfortable. Very homey.
I saw quite a few little bugs around. It wasn't on the bed. Just on the floor and in the bathroom.

Very nice place - clean, quite, spacious, just as the pictures show! It is close to the city center and the restaurants. There is water refill system! Great communication with the owner, who booked airport transfer for us. Ein paradise in the chaos of Semporna. We loved it!
