Visión de conjunto
Ubicación, Ubicación, Ubicación! Orchard House tiene la mejor ubicación en Dingle en medio de toda la actividad pero en una calle tranquila frente al adorado cine Phoenix. Esta casa única y encantadora ha sido recientemente renovado con una moderna cocina y baños contemporáneos, pero mantiene muchas de las características originales de la casa como las divisiones de vidrieras y suelos de madera. Encalada en todo el lugar es luminosa y espaciosa, con un montón de espacio habitable para ocho a diez personas. Es difícil encontrar una casa tan grande en el corazón de la ciudad con un exuberante jardín, estacionamiento fuera de la calle y un delicioso patio privado ... ¡un hallazgo realmente genial!
Acceso
No hay pasos externos. Hay un dormitorio doble de planta baja y baño. Las otras habitaciones están arriba.
Habitaciones
Orchard House tiene cuatro dormitorios. En el primer piso en la parte trasera de la casa es el gran dormitorio principal con su propio mini salón con un pequeño sofá, mesa y silla, su propio baño y dos grandes ventanas del piso al techo que dan a los jardines y el parque de la ciudad. También en el primer piso es otro doble que se encuentra en la parte delantera de la casa con vistas a Dykegate Lane. Frente a este doble es una habitación doble grande con vistas también al famoso cine y la calle con un sofá cama y mesa. En la planta baja hay una habitación doble con un baño privado.
Baños
Hay tres cuartos de baño en esta casa. El cuarto de baño familiar en la primera planta es enorme con azulejos de chocolate rico, paneles de madera blanca, un gran baño moderno independiente y un fregadero incorporado con un mosaico de azulejos rodean. Hay un baño con ducha, lavabo y WC conectado al dormitorio principal. En la planta baja hay una sala húmeda completamente embaldosada con una ducha abierta, inodoro y lavabo incorporado. La planta baja habitación doble tiene un WC contiguo y lavabo.
Sala de estar
Hay dos salas de estar en el hall de entrada. La sala de televisión a la izquierda, que es luminosa y contemporánea, con un sofá de esquina y una paleta de grises y amarillos, y la sala de lectura más tradicional con libros, asientos acogedores a la derecha del pasillo.
Cocina
Esta nueva cocina / comedor está dominada por azulejos refrescantemente coloridos que le dan a la cocina minimalista de estilo country un ascensor extravagante. Los asientos de comedor ocho y conduce a cabo en el jardín de nivel dividido. La cocina tiene un horno eléctrico y vitrocerámica, nevera-congelador, lavadora, microondas, olla a presión, cafetera, tetera y tostadora.
Espacio exterior
Hay espacio de estacionamiento y un área de comedor al aire libre en el patio grande a través de la puerta lateral. El jardín tiene muchos árboles establecidos, un área de concreto más baja ideal para juegos de pelota para niños y una zona de césped alta que da al parque del pueblo. Muy único para tener tanto espacio para una casa adosada en el centro de Dingle.

This was our 6th year in a row visiting/renting in Kerry. Although we enjoyed our trip and especially the location of this house, we have some misgivings. Primarily let me address hygiene: We were not happy with the bedding. The pillows and duvets need to be thoroughly laundered. It is simply not good enough (especially during a pandemic) to provide stained duvets and pillows with sweat odours - albeit covered in clean pillow slips and duvet covers. There are specialist cleaners who launder duvets and pillows! Please use them! It’s obviously an old house - and some people might be ok with a certain amount of musty/dusty odour - but we didn’t like it and our family home is 130 years old! We had to buy several fragranced candles & diffusers to freshen the place up. Let’s move on to sleep quality: The main upstairs toilet constantly stayed “flushing” causing the cistern to be filling all night - very frustrating for the couple in the bedroom next door to it. Also. it is not really a quiet street. Every night, up until about 1:30am we were woken by revellers walking by the front of the house, under our open windows, singing & shouting. I know this is not the owners fault - I’m highlighting it as it’s listed as a “quiet street”. We disagree but we knew we ran that risk by renting a house right in the town. The listing also describes a “delightful private courtyard” - so we had hoped to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening sunshine… But the “courtyard” was nothing short of horrendous and the “seats” provided were old and rusty (ruined my husbands new white shirt). I will post a photo if they allow me. I don’t take any joy from leaving a negative review. I just want to let people know what to expect. I think that this house would be an ideal place for a group of 3 or 4 young couples (without allergies) or a crowd of guys away for a weekend. On a positive note, there is off-street parking for 2+ cars. The showers, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, oven etc all worked well and for the most part, the kitchen was adequately stocked with everything you might require.

We enjoyed staying on Dykegate street at Orchard house. The location is ideal, steps away from the grocery stores, harbor, restaurants & shops. having parking is definitely an added bonus, as it can be tricky on busy weekends to find a spot for cars. We were able to fit 3 cars in the back of property. The house was lovely, and contained most things you would need to stay the week, but we had to buy some basics (paper towels, tissues, washing machine/dishwasher soaps, oils for cooking as the cupboards were bare of any staples other than salt/pepper) We also could have used more bath towels and had no washcloths in the bathrooms, so we bought some at the store. Overall, this house and location suited us (5 adults, 2 children) very well and we would stay again.
