příjemný a nápomocný personál, krásné květiny v celem areálu

Beautiful boutique hotel which made you feel happy as soon as you crossed the threshold. It was adorned in colourful plants and frescos. The room was basic and clean. The staff were charming and friendly
Little things could have made the stay even better like having a hairdryer and a small fridge. Otherwise perfect

The location is perfect for great restaurants and attractions. The staff is fantastic, and the room was spacious and quiet enough to block the sounds of the city, but you could still hear the people next door.
Bed was a hard and a bit uncomfortable and you could hear the people next door.

Proximité du centre. Très charmant jardin de plantes et arbres en pot. Beaucoup de charme.
Situé sur une rue très passante (bus et poids lourds) générant beaucoup de bruit même la nuit.
Personnel très distant

amazing location and very Mexican! staff were very helpful and the courtyard at the property was beautiful.
value for money - price was high at the time due to the Guelegetza festival - usual rates we saw on the wall in reception were 1/3 of what we paid. but worth going to Oaxaca for the festival, such a great experience! would have been even better if it came with breakfast included.

The hotel was gorgeous with beautiful flowers all around and many places to sit and enjoy watching the birds (including hummingbirds). The location was perfect. I was able to walk to everything of interest in Centro. Also the WiFi in room DD was excellent! I was able to hold two hour zoom meetings with ease. The staff was excellent from the first “welcome” to the last “goodbye”. All staff members were very friendly and beyond helpful. The cleaning staff did a great job with the rooms. My room was spotless.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. My first impression is the beautiful gardens and decor that look like a small village. Breakfast was delicious and the menu presented many choices, sensitive to our dietary needs. The Internet connection was reliable and strong. The air conditioner was a welcome feature on hot nights. The staff went above and beyond. They accommodated our special needs of storing our luggage, refrigerating a medicine I was carrying, and finally they tracked me down and shipped some equipment I had inadvertently left behind with an overnight carrier. For this I am eternally grateful. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Oaxaca.
There isn't much I would change about this hotel. I would have liked to have a shelf inside the shower to put soap and shampoo, and an absorbent rug outside the shower when stepping out of the shower. Beyond that, I have no complaints!

As we all know, the selection of a hotel is important, you want comfort, cleanliness, availability of staff and proximity to the areas of interest.
After reviewing several hotels in the area what caught my attention were the photos of the patio at Hotel Las Golondrinas.
There are many inviting areas to sit down and relax, surrounded by plants and pottery, it is easy to sit down and read a book or listen to music.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating!
There is filtered water where you can refill your water bottle in the lobby and a small espresso machine.
Some of the rooms have AC, if you prefer to sleep with the windows open, there are screens to keep out the mosquitoes.
The hotel is walking distance to the Iglesia Santo Domingo, parque etnobotánico and many coffee shops

Las Golondrinas provided us clean and comfortable room and facility, a beautiful and lush garden courtyard and amazing staffs that we can see really cared for the hotel. This was truly one of the highlight to our Oaxaca trip. We loved coming back to our hotel each day after a long day touring the city. Also, the location was a short nice walk to Santo Domingo and the Zocalo, and we felt very safe even late at night. We would stay here again.

The staff at Golondrinas are exceptional! Our stay really added so much to our trip to Oaxaca, it's in a great location and it was always lovely to return to our hotel after a day exploring the town. Loved it!
The only thing I would change or make other travellers aware of is that (in the budget rooms at least) there is no shampoo offered - only a basic soap dispenser for the sink and the shower. Not a huge deal so just bring your own or buy at a shop once in Oaxaca.

This is a wonderful little hotel with gorgeous greenery everywhere and amazing, caring staff. Would recommend!

It's a very beautiful, colourful place with lovely flowers everywhere and really helpful staff, especially one woman (Susana?) who did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable and allowed us to move to a superior room for the second half of our stay after I pleaded with her :-) Great breakfast too - probably the best frijoles we had in Mexico! Very quiet at night, lovely little touches like the unique pottery by a local Mayan artist. The drinking water refills were also really appreciated!
The standard double room is very basic and the bed isn't really big enough for the average European couple (we learned that a Mexican standard double is more like a UK small double). Do yourselves a favour and book the king bed size instead if you can. The budget rooms are also grouped around the patio and there is very little privacy - it takes a lot of work to keep the garden so beautiful and there's always someone pottering about outside the rooms or in the patio. The patio itself is very small and you can feel like you're on top of the other guests if everyone is out there at once. It's a shame because there's another gorgeous outside seating area which only opens for breakfast; they take away the chairs after 10am, which seems a little mean (though I'm sure they have their reasons. You also have to hand the key into reception each time you leave the hotel, which felt a little controlling. These are all things I wish I had realised before I booked because they made the stay feel less special than I had hoped.

The courtyards, the staff, breakfasts, congenial fellow guests, colors!
Seating in the room- a comfortable chair would be helpful for reading at night. Nighttime noise from a bar or a party somewhere on the next street uphill.

Such a pretty hotel, just 5 mins walk from the Sto Domingo church. Decked out in bright colours and plants - with its own cafe serving breakfast which was really good. Staff very friendly and helpful, specially when we had a late overnight bus ride, they were very accommodating in allowing us to leave our luggage there etc
It would have been nice if there had been some faciities to make tea or coffee later in the day. But now I've travelled more around Mexico, I suspect this isn't very common anyway, so it might just be my British habit of needing my afternoon cuppa tea!! Also seats in the really pretty relaxation area in the garden are not the comfiest! But they seem to be ubiquitous around Mexico!

Everything! The staff was friendly, the hotel is beautiful and full with plants, the bedroom was comfy and the bathroom sparkling clean, and it is just close enough to the city center to go anywhere in no time.
There's nothing to dislike, this tiny hotel has it all.

Loved our stay at las Golondrinas - we extended our time there. The hotel is beautiful, set over brightly coloured courtyards with plants and quiet spots to read. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, showers are great and no wifi issues. Location is perfect for exploring central Oaxaca. Staff are helpful in booking taxis/ suggestions. Bonus is the water cooler.
