Loved discovering this hidden gem located in the picturesque Norman countryside. The chateau overlooks its beautiful private park. The rooms have been most authentically decorated in the original 18th century manner with an incredible eye for detail. A lesson in period renovation! The reception, the peace and the amenities make this chateau well worth a visit !

The owner of the chateau was very kind and helpful and lives in the chateau as well. We were the only guests there. The chateau is beautifully decorated in period style with attention to every detail. A fantastic place and a memorable stay. We will return again and would highly recommend le Chateau de Cleuville to anyone looking for a truly unique experience.

I travelled for business while Covid restrictions were still in place, so mine was probably not a typical experience. The breakfast was a selection of French pastries with homemade jam, fruit and orange juice. The owner was very helpful and accommodating and even made breakfast half an hour early so that I could get to my appointments. I was in a very nice suite on the first floor with two rooms, a shower room and a separate loo. The property is beautifully kept and full of lovely antique furniture, so perhaps not best suited to very young or otherwise badly behaved children..

It would have been nice to have some long life milk (or similar) to have with the morning coffee in the room. I was alone and not really going anywhere (it was a business trip to see a nearby property) but if I had been on holiday as a couple or wanting to preserve my hair by having a bath and not a shower, I would have preferred the bathroom to have two sinks and a bathtub (for the price), It isn't that it wasn't all lovely, just that it was the same price or more than a hotel with room service and other facilities. It was very nice, just quite expensive for a B&B.
