Cheerful And Spacious Home For Lovers Of Good Food And Wine
Nuestros huéspedes entran por la puerta y se enamoran del encanto cálido y enérgico de nuestra propia Casa Cavatappi ('Corkscrew House' en italiano), una casa de artesanos restaurada de 1922 en un vecindario residencial establecido y amueblada con tanto cariño como residencia permanente, dentro de A poca distancia del centro de Walla Walla y Whitman College. Tiene capacidad para 2 a 12 personas, con 4 habitaciones (3 con camas tamaño queen y 1 con dos camas individuales), además de dos sofás cama individuales y una cama nido. Tiene 3 baños, uno en cada piso. Con un dormitorio y un baño en el piso principal, la casa es un refugio acogedor para 2 personas. Para el disfrute de un grupo más grande, los espacios están diseñados para socializar y realizar actividades grupales, así como para encontrar tiempo privado y tranquilo. Una gran sala de televisión / actividades se encuentra en la planta baja, separada del piso principal. Una cocina totalmente equipada que sirve para comidas familiares diarias o comidas gourmet. Una despensa prestadora de ingredientes básicos de cocina. Una mesa de comedor que se expande para servir hasta 10 y dos barras de cocina con banquetas para comidas informales o conversaciones. Una terraza con barbacoa, juego de mesa y sombrillas da a un patio trasero completamente cercado. Aparcamiento en la calle para 3 vehículos más un amplio aparcamiento en la calle. Dos bicicletas para su uso. Se admiten perros con algunas restricciones.

We had a great weekend in hot and sunny Walla Walla! The terrific air conditioning greeted us as we came through the door, and everyone had fun choosing a bedroom from the main floor, upstairs and full basement. The house is extremely well stocked with everything you need. The location is superb and a short distance to downtown. We would definitely come and stay again!

Our family came from across the country for a wedding. The 7 of us were very comfortable at the home. With bedrooms and bathrooms divided across 3 floors, we had ample privacy. It was wonderful to have coffee and wine available upon arrival. The back porch also provided a great outdoor social space. We would definitely highly recommend! Just two notes: The AC system is uneven, so the basement is cold, the ground floor is comfortable, and the upstairs is quite warm; in addition, the shower in the basement is built in such a way that the ceiling inside the shower is very low, making it a bit awkward for anyone over 5’6”. Despite these “old house” quirks, it is a lovely home with very responsive hosts!!!!!!!!

The four of us are retired geology professors who enjoy wine and golf and good food, and this home has great access to all three. Very clean and well maintained home, this is a classic craftsman from the early 1900's with lots of beautiful hardwood and trim throughout.
The home has four bedrooms (plus room for additional sleepers) plus a full bath all levels (three total) - comfortable beds and lots of outlets for everyone's charger habit. Kitchen was well appointed with all the modern conveniences, and there is a back deck, patio, and yard with gas grill (was too chilly for us this time).
It's maybe a mile's walk to downtown. The neighborhood is full of similarly well kept period homes - I think we also hit peak flowering dogwood time as there are beautiful old and large flowering dogwoods all around this neighborhood and beyond. Quick and simple access to both the southside and eastside/airport wineries.

We had a wonderful weekend in Walla Walla at the house! We enjoyed the location and walking into downtown as well as visiting several wineries.

We stayed here 8 years ago. It is exactly the same. It was still a good place for our group of travel friends from Oregon and Washington. The house isn't upscale at all. Cozy is probably the best description. The kitchen is fully equipped. The welcome wine was a nice touch. We wish that it had more living room seating so that all 6 of us could visit comfortably to chat. We were all able to sit around the large kitchen table, but couches and comfy chairs would've been better. Other than that, it was still a good place.

The house was amazingly well stocked with everything you might want on a vacation. There is a little bit of a musty smell as you walk in the front door, but it is an old house and it quickly dissipates with the doors and windows open. There is tons of space For together time and getting away from each other time. The fenced backyard was fabulous for our fur babies. Neighborhood is great only minutes from downtown Walla Walla and walking around the neighborhood. Seeing the great old homes was fun.

My husband and I rented this charming house for a weekend in October with two other couples. The house was very well equipped with all essentials. There are cute little seating areas for some quiet time, a fully fenced yard for the dogs, and great entertaining spaces as well. The bedrooms are spacious and so cozy, and the house has three full bathrooms. Location is walking distance to downtown. We loved getting up early and taking the dogs on long walks around the town. The host was so easy to get in touch with and the instructions were all very clear. We had no issues at all and we had a truly lovely stay.

From before we arrived, this was a great experience. The host let us know in June that she had been informed of road construction planned on the street while we were due to be there in September and offered the opportunity to cancel. There were more construction updates the day before we left, which she shared with me. It all turned out just fine, and we had a lovely stay. The house is adorable. Having bedrooms on three levels gave our group of five a great deal of privacy. Plus, there are at least four spaces (one w/ a TV) where one could read or have a conversation. Regarding Walla Walla, we encountered the most friendly, attentive service everywhere we went (wineries, restaurants, stores). We're already planning our trip next year.

The house is actually bigger than the pictures suggest. I forgot something when we left, and the owner is shipping it to me! Just an all around fantastic experience! You won’t be disappointed!! This home is spacious, comfortable, clean, and well-maintained.The kitchen is well-stocked. There is plenty of room for 3 couples -- with at least one bedroom and bath on each floor and in the large basement. (As in many older homes, the stairs are steep, though.) It is located in a lovely walkable neighborhood, about a 25-minute brisk walk from downtown restaurants and tasting rooms. Highly recommended!

The property was perfect for what we needed (4 couples). Loved the back patio for early morning coffee. Was walking distance to Main Street but we drove most times because it was hot. Top floor could use fan on hot days even with air conditioning but opened windows for night air.

We loved the house and deck. We walked to downtown Walla Walla easily. All the tulips and trees were blooming.
The four bedrooms were perfect for 4 woman that need their privacy.

The house is centrally located for wine tasting and dining. Very well stocked and decorated. Everything we needed was there. We loved our stay and definitely will consider for another trip!

We had a great time staying at this property. It was clean and had everything we needed. Lots of space for our big group of 6 adults, two kids, and dog. There was a little traffic noise from the street at night, but nothing too loud or disruptive. Looking forward to staying there again sometime soon!

My sister, bother and I, along with our spouses stayed here for one week while having early Thanksgiving with our mom, who lives in Walla Walla. We also had other family visit from Seattle. The house was perfect for a big group of adults. The house had many of it’s original craftsman features but updated to today’s standards. The living, dining and kitchen were open to each other so we could all be together and flow in and out of conversations. There was also a second main floor living room where we had a 1000 piece puzzle set up and was perfect for a quiet reading space (but you could still hear what was going on if you wanted to)
There was another large living area with a television in the basement (with lots of natural light) that was perfect for watching football, etc. The four bedrooms were spread out on three floors for great privacy.
It was in the 20’s the whole time we were there so the 2 fireplaces were perfect. So cozy and warm.
One night we had nine for dinner and there were extra table leaves and enough dining chairs for all without being crowded at all. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. And a second fridge downstairs. Tons of dishes and silverware, serving dishes, etc. that were high quality. Nothing was “rental house” quality. Everything was first class.
Central location and wonderful neighborhood for walking among huge trees with gorgeous fall leaves.
We would absolutely stay here again.

Parents and grandparents of a student had a great stay here! Easy walk to the college and wonderful house to gather the family. Kitchen is well stocked and beds are comfortable

The street was a bit noisy, but the location near downtown was great!

Comfortably furnished. Well stocked with extra linens. Nice laundry area.
Unfortunately house was not well cleaned. Dust bunnies on floors and Kitchen appliances and drawers were dirty. The ice maker and water spout were clogged with ice.
Some electrical outlets did not work.

We loved this house and neighborhood. This was our first vacation in Walla Walla (we were visiting family in twi-cities)
The house had more space than we needed so it was a luxury. So close to shops, cafes and wine testing and the beautiful district of historic homes. Fenced backyard was perfect for our poodle. Hope to stay here again.

The house was big and in a super cute neighborhood that was an easy walk to restaurants and tasting rooms. Lots of space and very comfortable, and easy to find. Rosanne was very kind and responsive.
