Very nice room at Laura and Michael. We had an amazing stay and enjoyed the company, the area, the pool, the animals. Perfect location in the countryside, practical to go to less touristic beaches and the volcanoes. Laura and Michael were amazing hosts. Thank you so much.

For us everything was perfect but perhaps not the place for those who are looking for perfect silence during the night : the house is in the nature so you can hear birds, frogs, etc.

Nice greeting by hostess. The birdsong was entertaining. Great restful night.

A wonderful place off the beaten track. The room is great and very comfortable to stay in. The pool is perfect for a mid day dip and the hosts are welcoming and friendly.

The house is very secluded. Very friendly owners. Close to the Volcano NP. The house has everything. No A-C because the Nights are cool. Beautiful pool and covered parking.

It is in the far corner of a neighborhood at the end of an unpaved street. very long drive to the main road (15 min)

The owners make you feel so comfortable from the moment you arrive. The room was spotless, the interaction with Mike and Nola was priceless.

Can't really say there was anything we didn't like we would suggest this place to anyone and we definitely want to go back.

Our stay was perfect! It was so peaceful and relaxing and the hosts went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The coffee they provided was so delicious and the Hilo farmers market has the most amazing selection of fruits that we thoroughly enjoyed poolside. We would love a return visit!

The hosts, the pool, the smoothies, the wine, the parrots, the cats, the surroundings, the garden, the trail to the ocean, the laid back vibe, even the frogs at night.

The hosts are real genuine, they built a great place to transform you into an island paradise. It was very clean and the pool is an exceptional bonus.

Accommodation completely exceeded our expectations. It is set in beautiful gardens, near the town of Hilo. The owners are very nice, we got a smootie for breakfast every morning. I definitely recommend.

Conveniently located on the East side of the island, with a short distance to Hilo and to Volcano National Park. Little studio type room had everything we needed, from mini fridge to TV, to serving plates. The room and the bathroom were spacious, clean and comfortable. It has everyone one needs for a short stay. The swimming pool is available for use anytime. We also very much like the quietness and feel of living in a jungle but actually still close enough to civilization. There are also some interesting birds :). Of course our host were super nice and welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone considering a short stay on the East side of the island.

The bed was a bit too soft and when me and my spouse slept on it, I felt we completely sank in. I wish it had a bit more back support.

We loved our hosts, they are an incredible couple and made us feel home. They have a great pool and the room is really comfy and well equipped, you will find everything you need, everything of great quality and taste. The house is located near to some trails and cool beaches, near the nature - what we loved, it was also easy to access Volcanoes NP, Hilo and waterfalls, and other nice spots - We had a great time and really recommend

Hidden gems inside 😀

There was no breakfast. But, host offered a smoothie and she was very accommodating. Even let me check in hours before the normal check in time. It was a friendly atmosphere.

The ohana was not situated in a way that provided much privacy. During the day the 3 pet birds would chatter non~stop. It disrupted the peace&quite. I sorta got use to it after awhile. Overall, it was a nice and unique experience.

Super comfy bed, sounds of frogs, close to trail to hidden beach, really nice couple, life saving smoothies! This is a unique spot, perfectly located for relaxing and walking when needed. I had a ton of work to do, when there, unfortunately, but it was a great place to land and I slept perfectly. Restorative.

Maybe, some newer rugs? Or just no rugs. I appreciate a wooden or concrete floor in a tropical location. But this is said with appreciation.

Everything was peaceful, beautiful, private and the hosts were a joy to chat with. Beautiful landscaping, private pool just outside your door, comfortable bed, everything very clean, room furnished with all one could need. If your looking for private intimate time with your partner, this is a perfect spot in paradise!
