Absolutely loved the grounds, and the privacy of the two casitas for two separate couples. Only complaint would be the very complicated pool and spa heating, which was meant to be on a schedule that we pre-paid for, but never actually worked. Still hoping I can receive a refund for that.

We stayed at the casitas for two weeks with our adult children and our dog. The property works well for adults who want some individual space and the outside space is terrific! a beautiful yard with grass, great pool and spa and outside seating areas. It was convenient to hiking and old town La Quinta. The property is quaint and historic, and that comes with some small issues. However, the management company LuxBox agency was terrific. They addressed all issues quickly and conscientiously! Thank you Luxbox

Shortly after we arrived, there was a police helicopter flying overhead for almost an hour, telling us to get inside the property and lock the doors. It was terrifying for my kids. We loaded the car up and left immediately and went to a hotel. I’m awaiting confirmation of a refundfrom the property manager, which I feel should happen given the circumstances and us feeling unsafe at the property

Our foursome thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming pair of villas! The grounds are fairly sizable, offering room to spread out a bit and giving us decent privacy. Kitchens are well stocked and in good working order. Villas were very clean and had enough towels, soap, etc. Everyone slept well on the comfortable beds. Loads of great restaurants were within a short drive or bicycle ride. The heated pool and spa were the highlights of our overall amazing stay. We look forward to many relaxing returns!

We have stayed here once before and were happy to be back! They are dog friendly with plenty of grass and shaded areas, and the separate casitas gave everyone a little space and privacy. The pool/outdoor area is fantastic and the AC units do their job when it's time to come inside (important when it's over 100 outside). Looking forward to returning!

We enjoyed this property so much due to the privacy & all the amenities. The 2 casitas are perfect for couples traveling together & we loved all the different spaces available to us. The pool & hot tub were just lovely as well as the entire property. We'd definetly come back again. Thank you

This is a lovely property that has just the right amount of historIc charm and modern amenities. Lovely grounds and pool area, and the two Casistas would be great for 2 couples or a large family. We had a little problem with the spa heater, but the owners and managers went above and beyond to fix right away! Would definitely rent again!

The property is well appointed with a particularly nice outdoor area. The problem is, you can’t use it. Within 15 minutes of arriving at the property, police showed up from a noise complaint. We were listening to music from an iPhone while unloading at 4pm on a Saturday. The police said our sound measured 55 db, which is basically the average person speaking voice and confirmed we didn’t do anything wrong. The police were very friendly and said this neighborhood is notorious for reporting rental properties no matter how well behaved the guests are. We could feel it every time we came in and out of the property…angry eyes from every neighbor. We were there for a family reunion, so we basically avoided being at the property as much as possible. Now for the part where the property owners didn’t do a good job: one of the beds had significant pubic hair all over the sheets and bathroom was covered with them as well. Absolutely disgusting. My brother in law and his wife ended up getting a hotel room. This place would be great if you were allowed to talk outside and the property owners did a better job cleaning. This is also a property that charges a cleaning fee, then requires you to do a significant chore/cleaning list before leaving. Wry poor value and wouldn’t recommend unfortunately.

This property is absolutely beautiful and exactly as it seems in the description. It is completely private, easy to get to and check-in/out. There were plenty of blankets, towels, kitchen supplies, toilet paper, etc! The hosts are available, not that we needed anything. ;) My family had a wonderful time and will definitely be trying to get here again!!!

When searching for a property in the desert I looked for a nice pool (preferably heated) and dog friendly - this property fit the bill and then some! The kitchen is stocked with all the necessary items and the beds are comfy, but what we loved the most was the outdoor areas/yard and pool. We had a few glitches with the outdoor lighting but management was prompt to reply and remedy the situation. Looking forward to staying here again!

Beautiful escape!
We were a compilation of couples and roommates who spent 2 nights at this beautiful spot. Our time here was nothing short of sweet. The grills, fire pits, heated pool, and bikes, all get plenty of use and some great memories were made! The property was super close to some really cool dessert hiking and an assortment of grocery stores just down the street. As we entered the property we felt the weight of the world removed and would recommend this lovely spot for those looking for both peace and effortless fun!

Best escape ever!
The perfect private escape for my wife and I, and our son his wife. Two completely separate casitas with amazing charm. The kitchens weren’t large, but they were well organized with great appliances. We made great dinners and enjoyed the, in the large dining room as well as out at the fire table and on the patio table. Lots of places!

Then, the grounds! Amazing....completely private with gates or walls all around. The pool area was fantastic.

Can’t wait to go back. Please people, don’t stay at this place between Christmas and New Years. We want that week each year going forward! But if you do take it, think of us while you’re laying by the pool.

Private mini compound
Our family enjoyed the property. The 1B units were comfortable and the gated courtyard made us feel we were in a mini compound in the desert. There was plenty of space for our dog to run and the kids enjoyed the heated pool. Outdoor dining area(s) was great and perfect for all the delivery we ordered during COVID. We look forward to coming back.

We had a wonderful stay at the casitas. It was perfect for our family vacation. The kitchens had everything we needed to prepare a small Thanksgiving feast. There were two great community parks for our kids to play within walking distance. We definitely would stay here again!

Most Romantic Getaway in the Desert for Two Couples Or. . . . ?
Casa Casitas is two adorable one-bedroom cottages that share a large, beautifully landscaped lot right in the heart of the La Quinta Cove. There's plenty of privacy between the two cottages, and plenty of places to "meet in the middle:" by the firepit, out near the pool, in the hot tub, or over dinner in the Casa Grande. We spent a week here and during that time we had a friend come stay in the little casita for a couple of nights, and two days later good friends of ours, another couple, came and spent 4 nights in the smaller casita. What fun, and what a great way to vacation with people you like! The Casa Grande is well-stocked with all you need to cook for and entertain several guests: tons of glassware, at least two sets of dishes and bowls, lots of serving bowls and dishes, reasonable-quality pots and pans, limited-but-adequate cook's tools like spatulas, pot stirrers, serving spoons, and so forth. (Bring your own sharp cook's knife though, but if you cook you already know to bring your own knife, right?) Not much in the way of storage bowls like Tupperware, and the eating utensils, while nice quality, are limited in number -- we would suggest management flesh out that drawer with a few more teaspoons and tablespoons. Keurig machines in both cottages but we didn't notice any other coffee making devices. Tons of towels and the 40-foot long pool and adjacent spa were beautifully maintained and temperature regulation was a snap. The decor is pleasing and suits the incredible vintage qualities of the casitas -- Casa Casitas is super romantic and apparently unique among the desert city's VRBO offerings for authentic '30s / '40s vintage charm and cosy appeal.

The perfect little oasis
We took a weekend getaway here this past weekend and it was wonderful. The casitas were beautifully appointed, fully stocked kitchens and clean grounds with lots of amenities that we did not have to leave. The pool was heated and we brought our two pups who had a blast roaming the enclosed property. The beds were comfortable and the spaces were quaint and the surrounding area was peaceful and quiet. Absolutely beautiful and we made lasting family memories. We will be back!!

Lovely property
Enjoyed our stay. The place is very nice. The bathrooms are smaller than we thought. The only drawback was no hot water in the larger casita on our last full day and gardeners came in the middle of the afternoon same day, Wednesday. The neighbors in the neighborhood are a bit noisy!

Private Compound
We had an amazing and relaxing vacation this past week. There are (2) one bedroom fully equipped casitas on one large property. The property is very private as it is walled in and has an electric gate. There is a neighbor on one side, but an empty lot on the other side. We hardly heard any outside noise all week.
The property is so unique- it is easily one of my favorite VRBOs that I have ever rented. The casitas are so charming- there are so many little details inside to remind you of a traditional hacienda, but is also filled with every modern convenience. The casitas are luxurious and comfortable.
The photos do not do the yard justice. It is huge and private with bright flowers and cactus everywhere and surrounded by mountains. The grass is so soft and there was plenty of shade at all times of the day. You have two outdoor tables, a firepit, two BBQs, and although the pool is on the small side, it was perfect for our family of 4 to play in with rafts and toys. I think our dog had the best time of any of us- he loved exploring the large yard and since it was all walled in, he could roam without worry.
I would highly recommend this property to a smallish family or two- or to groups without kids looking for a great quiet place to unwind. It is in a neighborhood so I wouldn't recommend for large or rowdy groups!
The property is close to downtown La Quinta, a huge park, and a movie theater and about 5-15 minutes from Palm Desert for endless shopping and restaurants. It is very close to La Quinta Resort.
One more plus- every rental is bound to have an issue or two and I always think the way an owner responds to those issues is what matters. Laurie and Chris were easy to reach, and fixed every issue right away. We appreciated their attention to detail and friendliness.

Oasis In the Desert
We stayed here for Coachella weekend 2 and it was a treat. This house is unique and comfortable feeling all at once. The amenities are amazing, if we needed anything the agency was easy to deal with, and it was really conveniently located close to Old Town La Quinta and Empire Polo Club. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxed getaway!!!

Desert getaway
This 2 casita property was private and had lots of outdoor spaces. The pool and the hot tub were great and they even had bikes to ride around the neighborhood. The casitas were modern and the property managers/ owners were very responsive. We will stay here again!

The property was lovely and quiet. You felt like you were in a different world. Also, the beds were insanely comfortable. We had all the things these rentals provided with a few surprises, i.e. Bikes and a ping pong table! We never needed to leave our casita for anything (also there are plenty of markets and restaurant very close by). I would highly recommend this space. It's perfect.

Classic Casitas are perfect for 2 couples or a big family get together.
TWO romantic, luxurious one-bedroom cottages on ONE property is an ideal solution for a couple of couples who want to spend time (but not too much time!) together. The kitchens are very nicely appointed and the casitas are stocked with lots of supplies, including lots of towels for the impossibly wonderful swimming pool and spa! See owner remarks about how many people the casitas can accommodate -- there's lots of room here! And the La Quinta Cove is the ideal central home base for a week or two's exploration of all the desert cities, Joshua Tree, and the surrounding mountains.

Fabulous property
This place is literally your own resort. Two gorgeous one-bedroom casitas with everything you need. Great historical property with all the modern amenities. This was the perfect place for my cousin and I and our two dogs to vacation. Super clean, well appointed and great location. Definitely will book again.

Nice property
Overall the property is nice and well-appointed
The neighbors'gardeners were loud all afternoon on Wednesday (music and gardening tools)
The welcoming package stated that gardeners and pool maintenance come on specific days, however there was no time frame.
The pool service was supposed to come on Monday and Thursday but ended up not coming on Thursday so the pool was dirty.
The amazon echo was not working.
A quick start instruction manual for the tv would be appreciated.

Great property
Only a couple things to mention. In the larger casita the dishwasher has the worst smell you can imagine. Also, I know the grass was reseeded but the sprinklers went off at least 8-9 times a day for 10 mins each. The grass was over watered which made it not pleasent to get to and from the pool. Other than that, we loved it and will definitely use this property again.

The property and house was beyond beautiful
My girlfriends and I had the most amazing stay. The owner was very accommodating and everything went as planned. I would for sure stay in this property again. The houses were decorated with such great taste and we’re perfect for a mini weekend getaway, we enjoyed the property so much that we didn’t leave all weekend. Pictures says it all! Booking includes both casitas on the property with plenty of room to enjoy the pool, late night dinner under the patio or even retreat back indoors in the cute and cozy casitas furnished with everything you need to be comfortable just like home. We booked in the hottest part in August and had no problems cooling down with the A/C units in each room! Looking forward to booking another stay here!

Fantastic stay at this beautiful La Quinta cove property... as good as advertised. Very easy/convenient check in and check out. Both casitas were well appointed, tastefully decorated, very clean and comfortable. It was like our own little private vacation compound! Grounds were well cared for and pool was beautiful.
