The Landgasthof hostel exceeded our expectations😃 The room was so clean and bright and airy! The bed was so comfortable and everything was really clean and fresh. We had a friendly greeting and were shown to our corner room- it was really nice! The bathroom and share were great too. Great rest on our way to Lauterbrunnen Valley. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Arrived very late after a long drive, stressed, tired, hungry, thirsty and the lady just kept saying "it's all good now" while showing us the place and providing food, although the kirchen was about to close.

Room a bit small, facing a rather noisy street. The typical German feather doonas - so beautiful in winter - maybe not so ideal for hot summer nights.

Best value for money. Quit, simple hotel for a night layover. Good restaurant inside with pretty fair prices.

It is really an amazing place to stay! ☀️ Extremely clean, extremely comfortable and super welcoming 😇☘️ we stayed only one night but if we could we would stay longer for a really good rest and relaxation. The owner is very kind and helpful, you feen very well and welcome. Room is like in a top star hotel, with a extra large and luxurious bed. Really we were lucky to find this place. We didn’t try food there but when we arrived in the evening place was pretty busy and everything looked delicious and guests were happy so it must be great 👍🏻 Best recommendation 💡💡💡💡💡

Good location and a very quiet area, close to the swiss border, modern and very clean room.

The only downside was that there was no one when we wanted to check out. We waited a good half an hour together with other guests that wanted to actually eat breakfast maybe someone will come and we even tried to call the number provided by Booking but no one picked up the phone. We had to leave the key in the room and leave.

There was no breakfast. The restaurant was not open until noon.

I was charged for a breakfast that was not offered. In the morning the kitchen was completely closed and all guests were waiting for more that 1h. nobody showed up and the owner doesn’t get the call. we were stolen!

We have been staying at Landgasthof Ochsen a couple of times. The accommodation is really good, they provided all the amenities that you need. The room is clean and comfy. They also have a restaurant together with the guest house that provides really good and comfort food. Parking spots are also available in the vicinity. Lately, they renovated the rooms and made it even better. Highly recommended.
