The character of the house combined with the location couldn't have been any better. You are within walking distance of so much stuff in downtown Moab, but you feel pretty isolated once you get into the beautiful yard! Hot tub, green grass, beautiful shade trees, and the perfect deck for enjoying either a coffee or adult beverage overlooking the creek. The house had everything we needed and was very spacious. The swamp cooler was a bit interesting as it was damp in the house, but it kept the place decently cool. We just used a fan to push the cool air into the bedrooms at night. But in Moab, it gets pretty cool at night anyway. I'm sure we'll be back to Moab, and I hope this house is available when we do!

The house was everything we expected and more. Walking distance to down town and perfect yard for a dog . Would rent again if in Moab.

Our family absolutely loved this house and its location in the middle of Moab. We were able to walk from the house to the downtown area as well as bike on the bike trail that goes right by the house. In the evening we sat on the deck overlooking the little creek and underneath the giant cottonwood tree. It was so peaceful after a day full of activity. You could find no better accommodations in Moab!

Right off the main drag, this quaint little cottage was perfect for our family of four. The two rollaway beds were perfect. Hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking. Walkable to many dining options and shops. Quiet end of a
Dead end street with a nice creek to listen to at night. We loved it!

This house was very spacious. Perfect for family or two couples. It had all the amenities you need. Communication was outstanding. Checkin was a breeze.
The location was perfect. Only about a 10 minute drive to Arches NP. You are in walking distance to shops restaurants and coffee. There’s a diner right on the corner. It’s a perfect location and really nice place to stay. I would definately stay here again.

We came to Moab to visit family, and enjoy some adventures. The house was lovely, with basic amenities. The deck in the yard provided a lovely oasis and the location is perfect for walking around downtown.

This place is fantastic. Our group loved being so close to downtown and not needing to fight everyone for parking afte a long day on the trails.

We enjoyed our stay with a few exceptions. Normally I give all 5 star ratings but was frustrated when I called the number provided by Vacasa for 'any' questions or issues. I first called because the home did not have a wine opener and the TV instructions were wrong. The young man had never heard of a wine opener (OK we were in Utah) and could not help with the TV so I gave up and bought my own wine opener (first time I ever had to do that). Later in the week I called because I used one kitchen trash bag and could not find any others, and the garbage disposal was not working (I discovered it wasn't plugged in but after doing that it still did not work). The person who answered the phone for Vacasa did not know what to say so she put me on hold and then hung up. I called back and was told by a another person that I got one free garbage bag and that was it!!! Really? Also if the disposal was unplugged it was because I should not use it. I said OK, but the sink keeps backing up so you might want to send someone to fix it or your pipes will have a problem. She never responded but about an hour later a woman came and was wonderful. She was kind, apologetic and very good at her job. She apologized for the incompetence of the phone workers and fixed the garbage disposal. Apparently, the last occupants left avocado rinds and bottle caps in the disposal and then probably unplugged it. The maids never checked it out. Like I said, I liked the home and the location.

The place was located convenient to downtown and a grocery store. , we learned upon check in that you cannot turn the AC unit below 72 and the AC has just one vent for the entire house.

This is a very cute place, walking distance to town which was very convenient. The home was clean and quiet. Our only two complaints was the swamp cooler kept everything very damp inside that made it somewhat uncomfortable and the enormous amount of coyote poop (and coyotes) in the yard, we did not sit outside. However listening to them at night was cool.

Very accurate description on listing. Place was stunning when we arrived. It has great, quiet, well located. Well working modern appliances and gas grill. There were some little black beetles all over, as windows had to be kept cracked open for swamp cooler to work. Internet went down during the stay, property manager very responsive and fixed it quickly. Only problem was checking out; I could not get my CHECK OUT to be accepted.

No complaints except the beds were not great. Otherwise all was good.

The temperature in the house was perfect. It was over 100 degrees outside and a perfect 72 throughout the house. Right in the center of downtown. Liked the included dog bowls, blankets and shampoo/conditioner. They ask you to start the laundry, dishwasher and take out trash. Stripping the bed we found out the pillows were extremely stained. The beds were not comfortable- this would be the only bad part of this house. Yard was sufficient and the place was spacious. Would definitely stay here again. Saw the other comment about the temperature and we were worried but it was very very comfortable!!!

The house was clean, roomy and plenty comfortable for five people. On site amenities were wonderful. It was perfectly situated in Moab, secluded enough from the main street to feel like a private oasis with a lovely deck and a creek running behind the yard, all while being close enough to walk to nearby restaurants and shops. It was a quick and easy drive to Arches and close enough to do Canyonlands as well. Can’t recommend it enough!

Everything about the property was amazing! Located downtown in a quiet dead end street by the creek. We’ll kept, clean, and updated home. Property manager was quick to welcome us and reply to our requests.

We enjoyed being close enough to walk to restaurants and shops in Moab. There was plenty of room for the two of us to spread out.

This property is a great find. Fantastic location, cozy cottage, excellent access to all things Moab. My only complaint is the beds are incredibly uncomfortable. After a long day of hiking and exploring you want to unwind and rest but the beds were so thin it may it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. Plenty of blankets to keep us warm though, great shower with lots of hot water as well.

This house is just off Main Street, making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants. It also has a washer and dryer that came in very handy.

This property is ideal for a small group going to Moab. Located right in the heart of town, everything is walking distance. The sound of the creek behind it is very tranquil, and the staff at Vacasa was exceptionally responsive and helpful with the couple of questions we had. We thought it was an ideal spot if going to Moab.

Good access to shops and restaurants. WiFi and heating did not work well.

House has a great location and was one of the cleanest places we ever rented. Smooth easy check in snd out. Now to the reason for only 4 stars. The AC never cooled off the house and house felt extremely humid on the hot days. Now i do understand we were in moab and its the desert pretty much but only 1 ac vent in the whole house had the bedrooms like saunas so relaxing after a day out in the heat was kinda hard. That is the only downfall to this property. We would rent again no questions.

We were able to walk anywhere in town, but the extreme heat made the house very hot. It did not have an AC as described in listing. It had a swamp cooler. The instructions on how to use it were wrong. It took us 2 days to finally get house to cool down. Thank goodness the local service man was there to help. It really needs an AC.

We loved the feeling of being away from the busyness of town enjoying nature and rushing water, while being walking distance to restaurants, Moab Adventure Center, and shops. The home is it a beautiful, artistic, eclectic mix of materials. Clean and well appointed.

Get away in the heart of Moab
Secluded from the street, backing the creek but only half a block from main street and all the delicious restaurants. Also a quick drive to Arches Natl Park or Sand Creek Flats recreation area. Perfect place to crash and recharge for the next adventure!

Pros and Cons, would stay again
PROS - Located in center of Moab, side yard, good shade, updated, cute decor, 2 bathrooms, roomy, easy check in, pet friendly, would stay here again.
CONS - uncomfortable metal cots, sandy/dirty floor, no wifi, no cable, other home maintenance hiccups, Vrbo didn't resolve (we'll pass along your message).

Hidden base for exploring Moab area
Good location that allows you to explore most of the Moab strip on foot.
Plenty of street activity out front from a continuous flow of trucks with ATV trailers at hotel and adventure center across the street. We were out alot so it wasn't a huge inconvenience.
Place is supplied with the basics but TV was not functioning for our entire stay which was bothersome during the evening and a rainy day.
AC is loud and a fan must be used to get any circulation.
Shared laundry in the cellar is not pleasant but appliances work.

Excellent location, functional stay!
The location for the unit is great - it's just by downtown and so close to the parks.
The checkin process was a breeze with the lockbox, but there was some booking / confirmation confusion with the invoicing via Vacasa as we had two pets and needed to pay an additional fee.
The unit itself was as pictured. I was sad the yard wasn't fully fenced for the pups, but it was still nice to have green space for them. There was a sign asking visitors to take their shoes off, but the floors didn't feel terribly clean on my feet (felt like there might be residual dirt), so that was a bit sub-ideal. The kitchen and bathroom were clean. There was no shampoo/conditioner/body wash (as far as we saw anyway), but there were towels and hand soap. Kitchen had all the essentials - pots, pans, silverware, etc and the fridge & freezer were clean.
Overall, a good place to stay as a jumping off place for exploring Moab and the parks!

We loved how close this house was to everything and how well it fit our family of 5.

Good location, some issues
Really liked the location—central to all the important places in town, e.g., supermarket, restaurants, Jeep rentals, tour operators, shops, etc. This rental is tucked away in a dead end street backed by Mill Creek. However it’s noisy every morning due to the roar of Hummers, tour buses, Jeeps (right across from Moab Adventure Center / Canyonlands Jeep Rental) and semi tractor trailer that backs into the store a couple of doors down for deliveries every day. Fortunately, we were always up by then to start the day, and it’s quiet the rest of the day. The unit itself is spacious. But there is no air circulation in the bedrooms, so you have to crack open the windows to allow the roof swamp cooler AC to push the cold air into the rooms. That means you can’t close the bedroom doors if you want the room cooled. The AC is noisy, and it broke on our second day. But management and HVAC company are super responsive and had it fixed within hours. Lastly, some major cleanliness issues. There’s a sign by the door that says “please take off your shoes”, except apparently no one has, and the floors were filthy with sand, dirt and dust everywhere and hadn’t been vacuumed. The bathrooms smelled like a public urinal. The couches smelled of dog, and have stains. The mattresses were clean but firm and springy. The comforters were well worn, and didn’t appear to have been washed recently. Extra blanket in the closet smelled like dogs slept on them. The kitchen and appliances are excellent, including the nice washer and dryer in the basement. The refrigerator ice maker does not work, so I suggest you go buy some ice when you arrive. All in all, aside from the cleanliness issues, we’d rent the unit again due to its convenient location and good value.

SMALL GEM IN MOAB
Nice, clean house in the middle of MOAB. Was a great base camp to visit Canyonlands and Arches National Park.

Let us down
Fleas, dirty couch that smelled like dogs, hair everywhere. Property has potential but clearly an investment property with low hospitality expectations.

Great location
The home was amazing- location was great. On site laundry was super convenient. The house itself was really attractive and felt spacious for all of us! The beds are a disaster- terribly uncomfortable. One person in our group actually purchased a foam mattress topper to use while we were there, they were that bad. The house itself was not that clean. The floors under beds and in corners were completely filled with dust and hair and spiderwebs. But overall this place was amazing and we would stay there again!
