Private lot on large lake in northern Adirondacks

This was the 6th year we have stayed at this lake house, we love it! The house is beautiful and well equipped. Chazy lake is just steps away. We kayak with our dog and interact with all the wildlife... The ducks just love us!♡ Until next year Chazy Lake!

This was our 3rd stay as usual enjoyed it. The lake is mostly quiet, although this year there were some properties clear and cutting trees, so that wasn’t quiet, however we have no control over that. We enjoyed the view of the lake as well as swimming and paddling boarding. We hope to be back again.

Nice quiet place. The lake is small but quiet. A lot of nice birds including loons! The beds while soft were very comfortable. We used both the kayaks and the inflatable paddle board. Lots of fun. It was very hot while we were there so we wished the house had AC but it cooled off at night. We had all the equipment we needed in the kitchen. We found some good hikes in the area.

This was our first stay at this property, but not our first stay in the area. We were a little hesitant to book because our last stay at the other location was less than ideal. So glad we went ahead and booked. The house is beautiful, well decorated, clean and well equipped. There were 6 of us, my family of 4, plus my parents. We gave my parents the choice of bedrooms, they chose the ground floor (because the stairs would be difficult for my dad after back surgery). And it worked perfect, we each had our quiet space when needed, and had our own bathrooms. The view from the kitchen/dining area of the lake was stunning. Because of the weather we didn’t get to spend much time outside, but enjoyed the large dining table to play cards and games. It was a great place to make memories for our 3 generation group. We are definitely interested in staying again in the future.

Our family planned this trip over a year and a half ago to coincide with the total solar eclipse. This house was absolutely perfect. From the private location on a secluded peninsula on the lake to the beautiful views and dark skies that made for spectacular star gazing - we could not have asked for more. My husband and I are also avid hikers and enjoyed the snowy trek up Lyon Mountain, which is basically across the street. We will definitely be back!

This is our second time staying at this house and we just love it. Beautiful view of the sunrise across the lake and mountains. Very quiet and peaceful but convenient to many hiking, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing trails.
The owner of the property could not be nicer and is very responsive.

Had a relaxing week in this beautiful house, exactly as described. Despite the winter weather we still managed to sit outside by the lake. Will have to come back in the summer months as it must be like paradise then

Great house with amazing views of lake! There are lots of windows and they all show beautiful fall scenery. Lots of privacy and easy to communicate with host. Second time staying here and would definitely come again. Lots of cool places to hike and cabin comes with a kayak for the lake. One of our favorite places!

This rental was wonderful. Peaceful and relaxing. It was great not to have to bring firewood and cleaning products, as well as, sheets and towels. Beds were comfy. Plenty of room for our family.

Love the privacy and the shallow cove. House is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Truly cant think of another place that checks off those key boxes for us. Already looking forward to our next stay.

Our stay was very close to perfect. It was our second stay at this beautiful home, so it was nice to be familiar with everything. Access to the water is lovely. There is a perfect set up to watch the sun rise over the lake. The owner responded quickly to any little hiccups we had. I would definitely recommend this home for a vacation on Chazy Lake!

Our third stay on Chazy Lake did not disappoint. We love this house and the private access to the lake and the little cove it sits on. It is a perfect place to enjoy the lake and our kayaks, but also an ideal base camp for activities in the area. We enjoyed day trips to Burlington and Ausable Chasm while there. Even though the area got a significant storm the night we arrived, and more rain was forecasted for the week, the house weathered the storm well, and nearly all of the rain the rest of the week skirted around us.
Christian was quick to respond as always, and we look forward to returning again next year!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Very private, beautiful view of the lake, it was a very relaxing place to getaway and enjoy nature.

No Hot water or heat the first 24 hrs but promptly fixed by owner efforts. Main bathroom sink mostly plugged, purchased draino, stopper also not functional. Extreme lady bug infestation outside front entrance. Swept 3 times per day. Have photo showing a pile of many hundreds. Inside house we killed 50 minimum per day. 5 Dog poops in the yard and only stepped in one. Despite those issues we really had a great stay and it would have been a 5 star otherwise. 4.5 stars we give it.

Property was exactly as described and was a great location. The view from the bedroom was beautiful. We especially liked being able to just wander around in the woods. I bet it's a lot of fun in the summer too!

Lucky for us, our stay happened during the full moon, and peak fall colors. The home is set into the woods on the most beautiful lake. The home is comfortable and beautiful and was everything we hoped for. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings and hiked during the day at Point Au Roche Park. I would never get tired of that view. We had never stayed on Chazy Lake before, but we hope this won't be our last time. Thank you to Christian for offering such a beautiful home and for responding to any questions I had. This would be fantastic for families with young children, as well as adults looking for a relaxing getaway. It must be so much fun during warmer weather in the lake. If you are looking for a beautiful home and perfect location, look no further.

We have been coming to this secluded ADK location for years! Great house and beautiful Chazy lake a few steps away..
Everything you need is in this fully equipped lake house, just bring your groceries! Plattsburgh is a short driving distance if you should need anything.

This was our second stay here and we had a wonderful week. The Property is private and the lake is beautiful. We enjoyed swimming, paddle boarding and fishing. The view is fantastic and Christian is a good host. Hood to be back again.

We love the privacy of the area, including the lake where we have a little section of the lake were very few people ever come. The lake house is well maintained, and the kids can play in the basement on a rainy day. I like to hike to the top of Lyon Mountain every year. It doesn’t get old.

This is a wonderful house and property for a family or small group vacation. It has a large, completely private yard at waterfront, with a dock on a cove with no other properties. The water entrance is sandy and shallow - perfect for kids or dog. The house has all the comforts one could want for a vacation stay, and owner was responsive to questions. Overall, an excellent stay.

Perfect Escape
This was the perfect escape for our family. We enjoyed some much-needed quiet time without outside interruption. The wood-burning fireplace was fantastic and had plenty of wood supplied. Sunrises over the lake were beautiful with a great view right out the front windows. Sleeping arrangements were more than adequate. There is a king bed in one bedroom upstairs, and another bedroom with a twin bed and twin bunks. The first floor has a bedroom with a queen bed, and the basement has another full or queen bed. The second floor has a full bathroom with a walk-in shower as does the first floor. So if you are bringing little ones there is no tub, they need to shower with you. We brought our own linens but there were clean sheets and blankets on all of the beds already. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, plates, cooking utensils, cups and silverware. The floors are nice and warm thanks to the radiant heat floors. There are multiple zones for heating so we were able to turn down the heat as needed. Christian responds VERY quickly to messages and was great about giving all the needed info for check in with some extra info to help make our stay comfortable. Overall a fantastic trip, highly recommend this house!!

This is my father and I's second year coming to this incredible, secluded property. Watching the snow fall from the warmth of this house is about as relaxing as it can get! Clean house and has everything you need. No complaints whatsoever. Thanks Christian for allowing us to return!

Peaceful getaway
Property was everything you could hope for. Great location, quiet but not too far from stores or activities. Communication was clear and quick. Check-in was super easy. Home was tidy. Amazing kitchen, nice heated floors, and the woodstove was perfect (it was -5°F). Definitely will be back in the future!

When we say amazing, we mean it! This home is stunning with spectacular views right on Chazy Lake! The pics on the VRBO do not do this home any justice , it's gorgeous.
Easy check in and out, great communication with the owner Christian.
Home was warm and welcoming when we arrived.
If you're looking for a big town with lots to do, this is not for you. A short 30 minute drive will bring you to town, but we never wanted to leave the house since it was so Serene and peaceful.
We will be back for certain.

Quiet Thanksgiving Getaway
We were looking to spend Thanksgiving in a quiet location, and this property fit the bill. We had awesome views of the lake, and there was plenty of room in the yard for the kids to play. We had planned to go hiking one day, but the weather didn't cooperate. But it didn't matter, since we enjoyed staying at the house. The place was stocked with everything we needed. Overall, it was comfortable and clean, and we are considering coming back to do that hike we had to postpone.

nice quiet getaway
Secluded location with a great view of the lake. The house was very comfortable for the 2 of us and our dog. The owner warned us on arrival that the upstairs shower was broken but had a plumber out to fix it the next day. Also the dishwasher was not working while we were there. If you like walking/hiking in the woods near water, I recommend checking out Point au Roche State Park near Plattsburgh.
