we had a very beautiful cottage. great showers, comfy beds, everything was clean. free water refill and restaurant prices are decent. can definitely recommend staying here for approx 2 nights. it’s super super quiet and beautiful nature around

the way there is pretty rough but the drivers are good. you can do it you feel comfortable on a scooter. it’s far away from everything, prepare your self for that ;)

The place was truly great! Very nice owners, good communication, they will gladly help you with the van or boat trip or can give any recommendations :)

Maybe a little bit too far from the Port Barton, but still if you have scooter it is nice :)

We loved the open space and connection with nature. The Guys from the hotel were extremely nice. They found us on the way to the cottage at night (as we were a bit lost) in our car. The communication was really easy.

We got there in the car. The road is pretty crazy! I think we loved everything overall. If you are scared of bugs, this is not a place for you :D

Beautiful view, beautiful place and wonderful bay with paradisiac islands, beaches and corals.

Only the phone provider Smart has a connection, here. A lot of mosquitoes.

Perfect for a remote trip but still close to Port Barton. . We've love the room and the atypical nights in the jungle. Marine and Alex are great hosts. Would recommend to stay here 100%

The place is amazing! The cottages are really well built with good taste and they have amazing view over the jungle till the sea. The restaurant provides you with all you need and the food is delicious. The owners were very helpful. The closest beach is 15min walk and it's one of the most beautiful of port Barton area. We couldn't have made a better choice!

Everything was wonderful! The only thing that one must keep in mind is that the place location is a bit secluded. You have to pay for a 4x4 car that goes through a tough road for about half an hour from port Barton or walk 15min to the beach and take a boat from there. So if you want to do sightseeing around the area the transportation is a bit difficult and expensive. I recommend to stay just at jungle bar and the beach for few days to live the experience ( as I said the restaurant there is more than enough)

Marianne & Alex helped us with every question we had. They organised trips, transport and lighters :) for us! The jungle bar is so beautiful and unique, that I extended after two days my holiday for another week! The food is excellent, drinks always cold and the decorations are a dream

This place is well located. We enjoyed our stay so much. Especially hanging out with Marina, Alex and their Calypso + including their amazing crew. We had the most amazing food of our trip and enjoyed drinking Alex his cocktails. We couldn’t have wished for more! Thank you so much guys.

The place is a bit far out of town and the road towards the place isn’t that great. But.. if you are up for an adventure. Go for it!

The location makes it really special and the owner and the hosts were very nice.

Jungle Bar is an incredible place. When you wake up an look above your feet, you remember you are in the middle of one of the most luxurious jungle in the world. The Food is really good also with a fusion touch of the french owner. Special place.

The view is fantastic. The cottages are rustic without WiFi, television, or telephone. Off the grid, baby, and loving it. Staff is helpful and friendly. The isolation was greatly welcomed. Bar had half liter bottles of Red Horse and cooks up good food. Breakfast is not included in the reservation.

As of 1/23, the facility is under reconstruction, but that had little impact on the overall experience. A paved road from the bus station gives way to rough conditions. A hired 4 X 4 is necessary.

Beautiful location in the hills, with a view of the sea. The shower was good, the bed was comfortable and the food was some of the best we had in the Philippines (Cheesy Sisig was particularly great). The hosts Alex & Marine are helpful, accommodating & generally wonderful. From the bar, you can hike for miles on the roads through the jungle. We saw monkeys & macaques about 2mins walk away. For beaches, you can walk about 10mins to White Beach or 20mins to Coconut beach - both quiet & stunning (just don’t lie directly under coconuts). We loved the town of Port Barton too, but this is a very special retreat away from the hustle & bustle of the town.

I spent 4 days in there and it was just amazing!!..I liked everything!! it’s a nice , relax and chilly spot where u can enjoy your holiday. The owners are just amazing and very helpful. I spent my birthday there and it was like stay in family. I really recommend to all the people who like the nature.
