My wife and I have been vacationing in CDM for the last 6 years during January-February timeframe. We have stayed at many rental properties and this property is one of the best for the accommodations offered, the location, the pricing, the privacy and the ease of check-in/out. The resident owner is delightful but not intrusive in any way, just wants you to have a pleasant stay. The property is just as pictured, is very clean and comes with a generous supply of paper goods, laundry and dishwasher detergent and bathroom toiletries (the shower is powerful, great!) The washer/dryer is a stackable unit on the lower level, easy access and free to use. The kitchen is well stocked with every appliance, pan, and utensil you will need. There is an outdoor space with umbrella table and chairs that we did not get to use because of the "Pineapple Express" rain we endured for 4 days (host not responsible!!!) It is located just two blocks east of Pacific Coast Highway so you have ready walking access to CDM, the beach and all its offerings. Parking is on-street but no problem finding a nearby spot. I would highly recommend this property to a couple who want to enjoy CDM and the surrounding areas. We will be back next year!!

Villa del Mar exceeded my expectations. Though I did not make use of all its amenities, it has been set up as a home away from home. Do not hesitate to book this for an extended stay in Orange County. (Young families, the owner provides a pack and play in the very large closet!) I did not give five stars for location and neighborhood because, on Mondays and Tuesdays, regular street sweeping means moving your car by 8:30am on those days. Parking on Sunday and Monday nights can be tricky because of this. Otherwise, Villa del Mar is in a walkable neighborhood with quick access to several good cafes and shops.

We stayed here for three weeks and it was great. Everything was neat, clean and as advertised. One block off PCH made quick shopping and restaurants an easy walk.

This is our second time staying at Villa Del Mar. The apartment is very comfortable with everything you need, in an excellent location, and a wonderful host. Thanks again Colleen!

The location was ideal. Walking distance to the beach , many restaurants, a market and pharmacy. Easy access by car to other beach towns. The apartment was very comfortable and well stocked.

My daughter and I stayed here & everything was just right. Everything was exactly as described & pictured. The host Colleen was very pleasant and has really thought of everything anyone could need for a visit to CDM. The snacks and waters were a nice welcoming touch. Bed was comfortable & linens were very nice. We would definitely love to come back!

What a fabulous property and location! I was traveling with my two small children and we had a great experience here. The location is safe, within walking distance to a lot of stores and restaurants, and just a 3min drive to the beach and tide pools. Colleen even had (child) boogie boards, beach towels and beach chairs available for our use. Thanks for a great stay!

Our family of 3 spent a week at this perfect little apartment in a great location. Close to amazing beaches, restaurants and shopping. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Only 25 minutes to Disneyland. Colleen has thought of everything; we felt welcomed and taken care of during our stay.

Lovely apt close to the beach, shopping, restauraants, Balboa and Laguna. Had nice stay with my sister for 3 nights. Lots to do, roof patio nice and made breakfast every day. Good communication with hostess.

From booking the reservation to the last minute of the stay, everything was wonderful. Colleen is a wonderful owner who helped us adjust the the weekend stay at her property. This week was my first stay at this property - I definitely will be back. It is perfect. Fantastic location - very short walk to the best restaurants and to the beautiful Corona Del Mar Main Beach. The unit is spotless, well stocked and very comfortable. The host lives in the attached main house and always was available to answer questions. I cannot say enough good things about this property!

Corona Del Mar was a complete pleasure to visit and the villa enhanced my experience there with an ideal location with easy walking access to restaurants and beaches. The flowers and landscaping are especially spectacular on Poppy Street if you’re heading to Little Corona Beach. Saturday morning I walked to the farmers market that supplied me with a bounty to prepare and eat in the kitchen. One of my favorite restaurant meals was the Santa Barbara enchiladas at El Cholo which tied with the fresh sole filets from Dry Dock Fish Co at the farmers market that I pan fried for a delectable feast with beautiful fresh tomatoes and artichokes. Another recommendation is a visit to the Chaupain bakery at the farmers market where I bought a slice of mushroom quiche and a fruit danish. Divine! The location was also easy drive to Crystal Cove State Park where I spent a few days exploring the many beach areas including a serious hike in Moro Canyon. Colleen was an extraordinary host and the villa was safe and accommodating. I hope to return again.

What a wonderful little place. Perfect for me and my wife to spend a few days out of the AZ heat. The condo was just as advertised. So very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stock with everything we needed so we were able to cook. The cool air from the ocean (a couple blocks away) kept the place comfortable. We loved it and would love to return again.

My family and I really enjoyed staying here! The unit was very clean, lots of extras like washer/ dryer, Kurig, starter complimentary snacks, extra blankets and towels. There are lots of great restaurants within walking distance and best of all, the beach is a 10 minute walk!! We would most definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!
