A Delightful Family Retreat Steps To Delaware Bay Beaches, Pet Friendly

We enjoyed our time, it's a quick walk to the beach, you can bring pets to the beach after 4PM and before 11AM.

We were very pleased with how well-appointed and clean the home was. The fenced in yard was great for our pup and the proximity to the bay and other area attractions can't be beat. We walked to the bay every day and enjoyed riding our bikes around the area. We would recommend this property to others looking for a pet friendly vacation home.

The home is clean and the kitchen was well-equipped. The owner responded to messages in a timely manner. The coastal storm Ophelia hindered some of our outdoor activities. The sunsets that we did see were not disappointing and very easy to get to! We visit Cape May every year at this time and enjoy everything it offers. The bay area (Townbank) has become our go to place.

Our family had a great stay in Cape May. We
enjoyed the beach most days (even spotted some dolphins). The house was spacious and clean with all you ask for in the kitchen. We brought our dog who liked the yard (be aware that small dogs could escape from under the fence in a few spots). Overall a fun week in a comfortable home!

We stayed at the property August 12-19. The house itself was very family and pet friendly. We loved that it was on a block from the bay beach. The first night we went to the beach to watch the sunset and it was lovely. Our
Labrador loved the fenced in yard! There were, however, a few areas of confusion. We were aware that we needed to bring our own sheets and towels. However, we didn’t realize that we needed to bring our own pillows and blankets as well. We spent the first hour after check in buying six pillows at a local department store. When I rechecked the listing, the owners description did state that pillows and blankets were not included. However, the VRBO listing said that linens and towels were not included, but did not mention blankets and pillows were not included. Either way, it is a hassle to pack all of these things for three bedrooms and six adults! Considering check-in is not until 4 PM (which seems late and left a little time in the house before our first day was over ) and check out is at 10 AM that leaves six hours during which of it would’ve been entirely possible to provide these things, considering there’s a washer and dryer on premises. Also, we thought that cable TV was provided. In actuality, it was a smart TV with streaming services that we had to use our own accounts if we wanted to access movies or television.
Overall though-we had a wonderful vacation in a beautiful location and would recommend this rental.👍

We spent a nice week in this well-kept, clean home. Location was great for us and it showed us a section of Cape May we had not been exposed to before. With six adults, we had ample room upstairs, house temp remained cool, and there was plenty of hot water throughout our stay. Owner was very responsive - I only had one question regarding garbage. My one suggestion might be to add a couple more chairs to the outside patio area so that everyone can sit at once (only five chairs there now). Thank you for sharing your home with us! I recommend this property without hesitation.

We love staying in North Cape May. This house met all of our needs, allowing our dogs to travel with us. Check-in is a breeze. Super close to the bay on a very quiet street. We’ll miss seeing the sunsets every evening!

We had a wonderful vacation with our 2 young kids at Debbie’s house. The location was great, the house was a perfect size for our family, and the ability to bring our two dogs was so convenient. The only caveat is that the backyard has a few holly trees and the leaves with the thorns made it unsafe for our dogs to use or a kids to walk barefoot. This was a small inconvenience to an overall amazing trip!

Peaceful and comfortable stay for our family
We had an amazing stay. The home was clean and comfortable, with great care taken to the property. Short walk to a quiet and peaceful beach. Exactly what our family was looking for! Great yard for our dog and toddler. There’s a great park for kids a 5 minute drive away near our favorite Turdo winery. Perfect spot if you want a family gathering space, easy beach access and to be a short drive from all Cape May offers.

Celebration of Life
We came to town for my mother-in-law's memorial service. The house was perfect, we were able to bring the dogs, and Debbie made us feel welcome from the minute we walked through the door. We will be back this summer!

Great option for family with kids and pets
We are a family of 4 (2 kids, aged 3 and 8) with a dog. A fenced in yard, carpeting, and a bunk bed was high on the list of priorities for the kids and dog. The property was ideal for what we were looking for. It is located on a quiet road one block from the bay beach. The kids enjoyed scootering and walking there each day. The house itself was very clean and there was more than enough room for our family. You would easily be comfortable if you are a group with more guests. Debbie, the owner, was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. We'll definitely look to stay at the property again in the future.

Clean, convenient, comfortable, quiet
We had a great stay at this home! Close to the bay for amazing sunsets and a 15 minute walk to Harpoons on the Bay. Debbie was very responsive to any questions we had. All the amenities you need are in the home. Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s roomier than I thought. Fenced in yard but lots of bunnies which proved to be a little challenging for our dogs who wanted to chase them! Lovely place to stay overall

Fantastic House/Great Location
We had a wonderful stay at Debbie’s house. It was exceptionally clean, had a great kitchen with everything you need to cook. Not too much traffic, great for walking and close to the bay. The fenced in yard was nice for our dog. There are many restaurants in the area and the drive to the ocean is not long. We loved it!

Peaceful and Quiet Bay Location
We had an absolutely fabulous time at "The Green House" as my son called it. We traveled with our dogs and the yard was great for them. The gate on one side does sit up considerably as mentioned by another reviewer and one of our dogs could squeeze through (our problem not the home owners! ). There was lots of wildlife around and the bay beach was so quiet and enjoyable. This is the place to go for a nice quiet family get-away that's just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the ocean side. We would definitely book again.

Great home but...
We were a bit disappointed. The code to access the property literally only starts right at 4pm. We asked if we could check in 1 or 2 hours earlier. We were told someone was checking out. Even tho check out is 10am (very early) and nobody was there at all around 2pm... the location of the house is close to the beach but the beach itself is not the nicer part of the seashore...

Super clean and a very short walk to the beach
We enjoyed our stay. The home was comfy and very clean which is a big plus in my book. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, etc. If coming with pets the yard is a good size for dogs to roam- from my experience just know that if you have a hunting dog it may slip under the front fence in chase of a rabbit-ha. There is little to no traffic on the road which was nice, and it made the short walk to the beach carefree with my two kids (9,10). There are also benches along the road facing the beach which make for a great place to take in the sunset.

This was a doggie vacay--this dog never saw the ocean before, she got to go to the ocean and the bay. Everything was close; walk to the bay beach, beautiful sunsets. A short drive to Wildwood Dog park beach.

Clean quiet pet friendly haven on the Delaware Bay
Very clean well equipped house a block away from the beach, 100% as described. Quiet residential neighborhood yet 15 min away from crowded downtown cape may or wildwood. We enjoyed the sunset and long walks on the Delaware Bay beach. Who knew May was the season for horseshoe crab spawning? Fascinating to meet those creatures right on the beach. The yard was quiet and a nice place to have a break between local visits downtown, to wineries, minigolf, salt marsh safari etc. We had a great stay! First family vacation in more than a year due to the pandemic and our teens were thrilled.

Relaxing Getaway
This beach house was a perfect getaway for me, my wife and our two pups. The large fenced in backyard was great and it was just a very short walk away from the bay. We were able to use the bikes that they had there to ride to some really nice wineries and just relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The owners are fantastic and very responsive. We will definitely be booking this home again!

Amazing location
Super easy, welcoming house with a beautiful location. I’ve been coming to cape May point since a child, and I loved learning about and experiencing town bank. House and town is super super dog friendly. Our dog loved running on the beach, the sunsets were out of this world. Comfortable beds, appreciated being able to bring our own linens. Open kitchen. Overall, lovely weekend and expanded our love for the area.
