We had a great experience, but at the same time there were issues that were not addressed on the website. The refrigerator was leaking, the microwave didn’t work which we were never told about even though there was a second microwave. Because of the city shutdown, water was yellow and the air wasn’t working until the next morning when the property management came to the site. Little piece of soap even to start with for 5 people is not enough. For the price that is asked, there is definitely should be more then just the normal. The view was absolutely gorgeous from the balcony overlooking the ocean and swimming pool on the 9th floor. Overall, I would recommend this place.

Listing states 1 King bed and both bedrooms had FULL beds
I reached out to property manager that same night of check in and not until 9am the following morning did I receive a message stating
We are sorry if there was a confusion, in the description of the listing must say that is a queen size bed, not a king.
*** note the description said 1 KING BED

Actually, The bed is a FULL size not a even a queen.
This is a huge inconvenience for me and a misrepresentation of what was sold to me.
Your listing says King bed and that’s not what I paid for. I don’t book any hotels that don’t have a king. I’m extremely disappointed as I have booked a total of 5 nights here and need to know how you can correct this issue?
No response… CRICKETSSSS until the day of my checkout giving me checkout instructions.
not only that but there were red fire ants coming out of couches and around the apartment.
Look elsewhere and don’t bother with this property manager, she obviously wants to take your money and doesn’t care that she is misrepresenting her accommodations on her rental and inconveniencing customers, no offer to correct issue and front desk could not assist as this was an owned Unit where the owner was the one that needed to resolve.

We enjoyed every day. The apartment is beautiful, plenty of space, kitchen has everything you need, the view is stunning. The building itself is very clean and nice, the restaurant on site, security, 2 chairs and umbrella (more upon availability) are included in hotel fee, but those are stocked in the apartment too. We had a great time, when we return to Miami, we’ll definitely book this property again.

My friend and I went for my 37th birthday, I wanted a big balcony with a great view and that’s exactly what I got! The place was really clean and neat, we loved having our own bathrooms to get ready in, the shower was amazing, in the morning it took 10-15 mins for the water to get hot but not a big deal…the property manager was great and promptly answered any questions I had… I can’t get over the large balcony and view it was perfect! I saw a lot of reviews about the elevators taking forever in the resort so I was worried about that but we didn’t have any issues at all, it was pretty quick every time. The hotel staff were just ok. Not very friendly or helpful when trying to get your beach chairs or towels and we got to the beach at 3 pm and they were closed on Friday, I guess if we realized that would happen we would have brought the chairs provided in our condo. we heard lots of sirens the whole time we were there so I didn’t love the location and probably wouldn’t have stayed in Hallandale I thought it was closer to the Hollywood beach broadwalk but the view and everything else made up for it. Great place to stay nice and spacious and an amazing view!

The property was exactly as described and very clean. It had everything we needed to have an amazing trip. The pool area is beautiful as well as the proximity to the beach. The location was easy to get to and from without a rental car. We had a couple of questions once we got there and they were quickly answered. We would definitely go back!

The condo has a great view of the ocean and intercostal. Spacious and had everything we needed. We had some problems w the wifi but had unlimited data so ok for us but might not be for others. It also made the TV not good quality bc the wifi so pretty bad. Overall a good location and great trip!

Our stay was excellent and our unit was perfect for my family of 4. Location is excellent only issue is the wait time for the elevators and the valet but we were there over Christmas and New Year’s so the property was at full capacity.Owner was responsive quickly when we asked questions via email. Would highly recommend this unit for a family looking to spend time in the area

I enjoyed this property for 5 days with my mom, husband and 3 month old son. The pool and restaurant on site are super convenient, as was the valet parking. The apartment is pretty well kept, and a few updates like clean cushions on furniture and stronger wifi would give this place 5 stars. We hope to come back soon!

The internet never worked, it was not clean, access to the beach was a mess and the pool was packed. Getting in and out of the apartment was very complicated.

This property was one of the best properties I have stayed in. The view was amazing, and the property was very clean. I also had questions throughout my stay and the property manager Lisa Lederman was right on time and responded in less than five minutes of reaching out with the answers to my question. I would definitely come back and stay at this property!!!

Overall our visit was good. The property manager for our unit was excellent and super communicative and open and honest about concerns we had read in other reviews in advance of our stay. Elevators are slow, the beach had a lot of sea weed, summertime heat w/ limited pool space, on property food and drink were pricey, and I’ll say it again - the elevators are SLOW. Good news, view from unit was incredible, spacious unit with nice, big full kitchen (had everything we needed) so you didn’t have to eat at restaurants on site but be prepared to carve out 30 min. minimum to “run” up and grab lunch or beverages. Like I said our host and unit were great, most issues were with the way the property was managed - check in and Valet took a long time and we didn’t really know what to do when we got there - there weren’t communicative. Overload of security, seemed unnecessary. One barista in the morning, I kept thinking of one security guard could multi task the place cold run a lot smoother. We ate at Taverna Opa and Aqua Bistro. Both were about a 2 mile walk which was find for us and both were excellent! Aqua Bistro seems to be quite the hidden gem (Family owned with great food and service).

We understand a tropical storm will affect amenities. However, we were told different stories every time we asked. EVERY DAY our keys stopped working at 11AM, so up to the 35th floor, to go back to the desk to get new keys. One elevator is broken the whole time. one person said it's been broken for months, another said 3 days. They make things up as they go. Nothing was said about the very mechanical noises on the deck, you cannot even hear the water. 3 ladies on our annual girls trip, and we were disappointed.

We had a great time at the Hydes. We love the vibe in the Hollywood Beach area. Enough fun things to do without being overly crowded or busy. Condo was clean and met our needs. Could have had a few more kitchen items but we made due. Beach was wonderful. Will definitely be looking to go back again.

We have stayed all over the world and really aren't too fussy.
The condo was nice it just needs a few things. The coffee pot is too small for more than two people. The knives in the butcher block in the kitchen would not cut butter. Pillows in both bedrooms hard as rocks. Fix these things and the condo is great.

We enjoyed the view, floor plan and space of the condo. The pool is beautiful and the staff at The Hyde, as well as the beach, were friendly and helpful. The reserved area at the Beach is actually a few doors down and not directly behind The Hyde but not really an issue. Definitely a city feel and location is the very south end of Hollywood Beach. Communication with the property management was excellent.

Positives:
View from room is incredible, pool area very nice, Just not convenient to go to the beach being on 9th floor. Staff friendly. Restaurant food and ambience was nice
Negatives:
For the 4 of us we received 2 wash cloths, asked for more more everyday and never got them.
The towels in the unit are very cheap and rough.
The room comes with 2 full service beach chairs and an umbrella. They are far away!!! So pretty much useless. We did find 2 beach chairs in the closet so 2 of us got to the beach one day. Be sure to get up early to reserve a chair by the pool, they go quickly and are hard to come by.
Even though sign says not to do that, everyone does. Little coffee shop on first floor with one person working keeps a long line and not worth it. Elevators can have a waits at certain times of the day. Have to Uber or Lyft to eat u less you want every meal at the restaurant. Nothing walking distance.

The condo was amazing, beautiful and astrometric hostess Laure!! The condo was amazing and was perfect. Great location, beach was awesome, runway 64 was amazing and a great time.

We visited in January to get away from the cold. The weather was great! The condo is nice with great views of the water, canal and city. There are a view minor things like the towel rack and door handle fell off while we were staying in the condo. I felt like the resort itself had too many restrictions for our liking. One day we got in trouble for trying to take the beach towels back down to the beach. Overall we had a great time and glad we got the chance to visit Fort Lauderdale area.

It was our second time staying in this building and we absolutely love it ! The view was amazing and the place was big enough to fit two couples and a baby. Location is great, a lot of amenities in the building ! Only downside is the elevator, sometimes you could end up waiting 30 minutes during busy times.

My daughter and grandson joined me for this getaway and the property provided a perfect setting for our time together.
Especially we loved the view of the ocean and the intracoastal.
My grandson up were late one night and was following the arrival and departures of the planes. The beach and pool provided were great spaces for respite. Thank you.

Condo has an amazing view and location to the beach. The restaurant on property is really good. In regards to the elevators, we did not have any issues on waiting except for high-use times on Saturday. During the week there are absolutely no issues.
Overall great stay. Would recommend to friends and family.

The view an condo was nothing but amazing ...the resort was by far the best stay I've had..it was on the beach ..next door to Walmart everything was convientant...would definitely stay again

Lovely Property
The property itself was very lovely. It is true that there are problems with the elevators but it was manageable. The staff and security teams were very nice. I cannot say enough good things about Laure and her team. They were responsive to my questions and concerns and I would stay at the property again.

Very Nice stay
Had a very nice stay at the Hyde, Our apartment was perfect for our family. Nice pool area, Very nice restaurants. Elevators are a factor but din't really impact our stay, impossible to fix, so people need to be patient and deal with it. Valet system was Hit or miss, sometimes the text system was bang on, some other times, they had no idea what car I was asking for, learning curve, but again, not the end of the world.

Great location, but...
The condo was fantastic and even better than in pictures. Great location, beautiful view and plenty of space for our family of 5. But don't plan on cooking here. Kitchen has almost nothing (had to improvise to even cook eggs for breakfast) and plan on spending LOTS of time waiting in line to catch an elevator. Running back up to the room for something required about 30 minutes. And, the beach is nice but super small. There is not enough room to accommodate everyone staying in the building. Beach chairs are placed side by side, you cannot even walk in between them. Our boys went to the pool for a bit and a staff member told us we were being 'selfish' for not giving their chairs up to others. So be prepared for a total mob scene on the beach (pool is the same). Final gripe, the coffee shop doesn't open until 7AM!

Family reunion
The overall impression of the property is bad. We had a family reunion, which was the main reason we (had to) book this particular property otherwise we would have not (ever) chosen this property to start with. However the Unit we had was in excellent condition and nothing was wrong with it.
We were there during high-season. It was pretty much packed and full.
The elevator situation, as one can read in many reviews, is unacceptable and really super annoying.
The beach was packed one could not even see the water.
There isn't much to do for children at the property or nearby other than a pool and beach. Noise form the streets are very noisy. We stayed on the 35th floor and had permanent noise from a below running A/C unit. The Spa is super expensive. There isn't any appeal to this property.

Selfishly, I never respond to requests for reviews for anything. However, my dealings with Laure and team were so extraordinary that I am compelled to share my experience. First of all, the property was amazing but more than that - all my interactions with Laure put me at ease from the moment of booking to our departure last Friday. Laure reached out to me as we checked in to ensure all was going well and then made further accommodations so that my family was as comfortable as possible. I only wish that Laure and her team could handle all of my HomeAway bookings going forward. I will definitely stay at this property again and will be doing so through Laure and team.
