As someone who has been coming to the beach for a decade or more, I can say this unit needs some attention! The kitchen isn’t equipped very well for people who enjoy coming in from the beach and cooking and staying in. And it may be time to switch up cleaning companies because it wasn’t clean. The cabinets looked like food had exploded on them, the floors were dirty, and the fitted sheets to the beds were inside out. Dirty baseboards and just overall bleh in the cleanliness department. The best thing about the unit was the ease to get to the car and down to the beach.

Very nice unit in a building with good amenities. We had 9 adults and 3 kids and were comfortable. Adequate parking was available while we were there. Only complaint was that provided "starter" supplies were very skimpy, especially for a unit that can hold 14 people.

Was such a breeze! Condo and amenities were wonderful and was so close to parking, everything worked and he was so beautiful. Only complaint I had was there were kids in the pool acting rowdy and dangerous and not supervised on more than one occasion. Security was contacted but never came.

This was our annual Christmas trip with myself, my husband, and our adult children. We loved the location, it was our first time to Gulf Shores. We loved the condo amenities. The condo had plenty of room for 8 adults.
I do wish there would have been more supplies, however I did not rate that negatively because the listing did say it only provided a starter pack. If you plan to be there more than 1-2 days, you’ll need to take more toilet paper and trash bags. There were also no cleaning supplies (kitchen cleaner, bathroom cleaner) so I couldn’t clean the kitchen after meals as I normally would. There aren’t any spices/salt/pepper or cooking sprays, so you’ll need anything you might need for a meal.
Overall, we loved the place. We would stay again.

This was our second time staying and we loved it. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Parking on the same floor of the condo is so convenient. Plenty of storage in the condo and plenty of room as we had 8 people.

We had the best time on our vacation. We were a group of 9 and fit very comfortably in the condo. Very clean and very beautiful. The kids loved the water slide in the pool, and the view of the ocean is perfect from the balcony. In fact, being a corner unit, their are multiple gorgeous views from various rooms in the condo. I personally enjoyed having coffee each morning and watching dolphins from the balcony. Communication with owner was quick, helpful, and efficient. We will definitely keep this place in mind when traveling with a large group again!

My family has been coming to the Alabama/Florida coast for over 20 years, anywhere from Destin to Gulf Shores. However, as my family has changed and my children have gotten older we need more space. Finding a 4 bedroom is hard. This one was perfect without breaking the bank!

The facility was good. Check in easy, parking great being on the same floor, and the shopping cart were the best idea!! I cannot fantom why the patio furniture was inside and had to be placed back inside before leaving. But anyway. The light in the fridge does not work and the fridge side was not cooling well enough. The water filter in door must need changing or something, it would only come in slow to nothing.

I have very mixed feelings about the condo. Overall it was a very nice unit but was very much in need of a deep cleaning. The floors were extremely dirty upon arrival and the ceiling fans and vents had not been cleaned in some time. Everyone in our party had allergy issues the entire stay. In addition, the $55 fee per vehicle was extremely ridiculous. Overall the unit was nice and having parking on the same floor was a luxury, but I can not in good faith recommend this unit unless the cleanliness and parking fee is improved.

This unit was perfect for our family. Check -in and check-out was simple. Everyone said they'd love to stay there again. The only thing I would suggest is to check out the king bed in the first bedroom on the right upon entering. The matress has some issues.

Very nice condo, the one problem we had is there was water that leaked into the condo from above. They had 5 industrial fans running for 4 days and nights that we stay there. We requested a credit for all the noise. They did not call back. It was VERY noisy, and not what we wanted for a great vacation.

We went there with our family, 5 adult couples. No grandkids… yet. The place slept the 10 of us easily. Two couples had their own room with a king size bed. The proximity to the beach was great. Couple of restaurants are within walking distance. Place was clean and well kept. Never felt crowded. Ice machine in unit was very relevant. Nice beach. Management/check-in… smooth from start thru finish. Highly recommend!

The location was great. And it had plenty if room for all of us. We had a great time. The faculty was very friendly and made our check in very easy. The condo however needs some maintenance. The back patio sliding door was extremely hard to open. But the patio was nice to hang out on. It had nice furniture. The kitchen sink faucet was loose and did not change temperature or turn off all the way. The bathrooms were missing the toilet paper roll holders and there was mold in the showers and the tubs were stained yellow. Most of the dishes were chipped. It was nice having a blender and coffee maker available. The walls had stains. This place is beautiful just needs a little TLC for the price.

Great unit. Only negative comment would be the dirty sheets left in a plastic bag on the chair and a small amount of garbage left in the sink when we arrived. Nothing majorly wrong though. Loved the end unit view!!

Beautiful views but could be cleaner
We had plenty of space and the views from this condo are PHENOMENAL!! Right on the beach and had a great indoor pool and tennis court. We overall enjoyed our time with the only issue being the condo was a little dirty when we checked in. The floors were not clean and very sandy with what looked like pet hair in places (little white hairs) and one of the beds had sand in the sheets. We were able to wash the sheets and clean the floors ourselves and get on with our beach vacation and truly enjoy this beautiful place. We also were not notified before we came that the outdoor pool would be closed during our stay.

Fun for All
The views are spectacular…perfect for sunrise beauty! The condo was furnished and decorated nicely and there was PLENTY of room to store food in the cabinets (usually we have the counters stacked with food, so it was nice to have a designated spot for food). The ice maker was also a plus. There is plenty of room in the closets and dressers to store clothing.
The heated indoor pool was great and even though the water was freezing in the outdoor pool, my kids and there friends chose to endure the cold for the thrill of the slide (they were mot alone—many kids loved this, and I bet it is a blast in the summer). The tennis court is on the 7th floor and while it is a great idea and my kids used it quite a bit, it is very windy and not ideal tennis conditions…but still nice to have).
My only complaint is having to wear the wristband the entire time. I totally understand the purpose, but they are uncomfortable, unattractive, leave tan lines, and the security people are constantly asking to see them and send folks back to their rooms to get them if they left them in their rooms. You also can’t leave any beach items in the hall, which again…I understand the HOA wants the place to look nice, but tracking that much sand / water into the condo made for multiple cleanings throughout our stay.
Other than that.. we loved this place and it was super convenient to dining/shopping/attractions!

The condo was perfect for the adults and the teens. Plenty of space, perfect ocean view, everything we needed for our stay. Pool areas were great as well. Will definitely return to PGS604.

Beautiful view of Gulf from so many windows! Beautiful condo. I hope they can get their kitchen sink sealed and taps fixed. Had to wash master bedroom bedding sheets and covers - they were dirty upon arrival. Units has very old pots and pans so bought our own. Tried to Vacum several times, but Vacum did not work very well. The sea and ocean are why you come though and this unit has that and more!

We continue returning to this rental because we love it here! Our rental agents (both Charlotte and Michael) have been caring, responsive, and professional. This location is great, the condo spacious, building clean and well maintained. Any negative issues we have are minor. A 4-slice toaster would be a great upgrade for a rental that can sleep 14. Also, a variety of sizes of glass cooking and serving bowls could be added. We do love the crockpot and plenty of dishes. We have already rebooked for 2023 and look forward to returning.

Family vaca 2021
Our stay was wonderful. The only complaint we had was that there wasn’t enough washcloths. Next time I’ll take some disposable ones. The condo was nice and updated. The beds very comfortable. Right on the beach. We’ll definitely be back. Every family member said it was the best place they had ever stayed.

We had another great stay at Pheonix Gulf Shores, it is our 3rd time staying at this location. My only complaint is that the stand alone ice makers in the rooms never work properly.
