The apartment is centrally located near shops, restaurants, beach, marina, and there's a taxi stand right around the corner. The place is big and comfortable. Norma was a great host. We would definitely stay there again.

Our host Norma was available to us for every query and help. The location was perfect and the spacious size with four bedrooms was just what we needed for our family get away. As the penthouse is old and authentic Mexican, some updates will be required but we were comfortable and happy.

The condo is huge and capable of sleeping 8 -10 people. It's on the third floor of a mixed use building in Santa Cruz. The condo is dated but has everything you need. Access can be a challenge as there is no lift and you must navigate a very tight circular staircase to get to the unit. There are not really any views as the other buildings block any sight lines save a few. The TV and internet were a constant issue. Many hours were spent without either as the service (?) in the area is so poor. The host did hire a service tech to stop by and fix but there really was no fix. Internet in other nearby locations was better (eg. Holiday Inn lobby next door). This was the biggest problem we had. The hot water was broken for 10 days of our visit but the host got it fixed as fast as possible (10 days). The neighbourhood people were pleasant and helpful. Area can be noisy at night as it's in such a popular location (people and cars). Perfect for the four of us as we each had our own bedroom. So great for larger groups. If internet and TV are important to you please discuss this matter with the host before booking. The host was pleasant to deal with and wanted our stay to be enjoyable. Host was willing to work with us during Covid times when the cancellation policy had to be more liberal.

Super quick walk to the beach, very central to walk to many of the fantastic restaurants that are close by. We loved our time here!

Loved our stay in Santa Cruz. Accommodations were excellent. Norma was always quick to answer any questions we had. Will definitely return. First time I hualtuco and we loved it.

This is the third year in a row that our family has stayed here and we love it! The penthouse is so spacious and beautiful and it’s so close to the marina, park and beach! Norma is always a pleasure and easy to work with also!

This condo is fantastic! There is lots of room the bedrooms are very spacious and the layout of the condo is great. You are in walking distance to everything, there is a pharmacy right on the ground level and a convenient store right in front of the apt building. The beach is just a few minutes walk from the condo which is fabulous. Norma and Chris are fantastic to deal with and if we had any questions they got back to us right away and checked in with us to see how things were going. There is a market every Saturday in the park right by the condo. One of the vendors make the best piaya that I have ever had.

Our stay was horrible blood stains sheets and pillows and when I showed Romnel he said they were washed just stains. Idk who would want to spend their vacation to sleep in some strangers blood stains pillow and sheets. The air conditioner in master did not work at all and it leeks and ruins a good portion of my clothing. Also the kitchen is invested with ants. I called norm told her I was leaving after day 3 the conditions were so horrible she apologized and promised to refund my money but never has and will not respond to my emails. Also shower is either super hot or freezing cold there was no in between. We finished the rest of our stay at a nearby hotel.

Norma, notre propriétaire, bien que résidant à Vancouver, s'est toujours souciée de notre bien-être. Rommel, son homme de confiance sur place, nous a également facilité notre installation. Nous n'avons pas eu besoin de faire appel à lui au cours du mois où nous occupions le condo (février), mais il aurait été disponible, et avec le sourire. La literie est excellente (côté à ne pas négliger, surtout pour un séjour assez long). Le seul hic: le manque de piscine. Dans une région chaude comme celle de Huatulco, la piscine est un gros avantage. Nous y avons suppléé en allant dans les piscines des environs (Chahué Bay à 15 minutes de marche, ou dans un hôtel à 5 minutes de marche). Chaque fois il fallait cependant payer 100 pesos par personne. Le condo est très bien situé si on veut explorer la région; beaucoup d'excursions sont possibles, et elles nous permettent de belles découvertes. De même, les différents services d'épicerie ou autres sont très proches. En bref, un beau séjour possible. Jean-Michel Lienhardt

Not only is hualtuco in itself an amazing place to visit but Norma’s place is OUTSTANDING! Perfect location, amazing view, cozy place to relax after days of exploring...LOVED my stay!!! Thank you Norma!

We (4 adults) recently spent 10 days at this spacious condo. Other than the bedrooms (which are all air conditioned), the condo is completely open to the wonderful smells and sound of the ocean a short distance away. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, drinking our coffee and watching the cruise ships arrive. The beach near the condo is very nice and has many good restaurants. The recent addition of a BBQ is a great option to use for cooking dinner as the kitchen can sometimes get a little hot. There is plenty of seating, cutlery and dinnerware. There is a market and small grocery store a 2 minute walk from the condo or there are 2 large markets a 15 minute walk or a short cab ride away. As mentioned by others, you need to be able to walk 3 flights of stairs on a circular staircase... not an issue if you are reasonably fit or just take them a little slower. The stairs are also a great way to work of the 1 or 2 pina coladas you might drink on the beach. LOL. Water in Huatulco is safe to drink. We still used bottled water for drinking but used tap water for brushing teeth, washing vegetables, etc. and never once did any of us have an issue, as we have in many other places in Mexico. Norma is very responsive to emails and very accommodating to all your needs as a guest. Thanks Norma! We had several great PRIVATE tours using Arturo Martinez. VRBO will not allow me to post the URL (really... they read the reviews very closely but won’t answer direct emails I send them) for his website so just google his name if you’re interested. During one of our tours, Arturo advised us part way through the day that he just found out there would be a turtle hatchling release that afternoon. What a wonderful surprise and experience!

Es un excelente lugar para descansar, la ubicación es muy buena, el trato con Norma es muy bueno, y con Rommel también. El acceso a los distintos lugares de Huatulco, es muy fácil, tienes a la mano casi todo, y sino el centro está relativamente cerca, en fin es muy recomendable, definitivamente regresariamos sin dudarlo. Our family loved our week long stay in Norma's condo...the views are amazing, Norma was extremely helpful and informative and the condo is super nice! We will def stay again!

What a wonderful relaxing time my family had. Huatulco and its many beaches,local vendors and great food was a treat. So many memories... The condo was a perfect place to end the day of exploring the country side and swimming in the ocean. We loved that it was in a central location and easy to navigate. Morning coffee is not quite the same back home.. the fresh sea air, the large balcony with the hammock - HEAVEN!!!!!! Thanks for the great time and the wonderful accommodations! The pictures do not do it justice. Till we meet again...

We loved the location of Norma's home! Easy to walk to the beach, marina, restaurants, and access to all transportation. Our favorite spot in the condo was on the balcony - loved seeing all the action, particularly during the Festival of the Cross. We definitely had the best place to watch the fireworks from. Norma was very prompt to reply to any questions we had. Look forward to our next visit to Huatulco!

Norma`s condo was just as it is showen in the pictures. The location was perfect for my wife and I, roughly 400 yards from the beach and calm waters of the pacific. Norma was prompt and informative in all our correspondence. As a first time visitor Norma arranged her agent to pick us up and take us to the condo, Rommel was very gracious and gave us a quick but informative tour of downtown LaCrececita a big Thanks!! One small negative would be the stairs accessing the condo, there are three flights, circular in nature, that were a bit narrow. For people with mobility issues this would be a concern. The condo is excellent for everything else, good eating nearby, markets, entertainment in the public square almost every nite. The walkway into town is brightly lite and easy to walk. All in all, I would recommend Norma`s condo to anyone wanting to have a great location and relaxing holiday. Thank you Norma!
