Property was not clean, Elevators in very poor condition(1 I had to pull the door shut), Hallways smelled of urine, drunk people in hallway, walls & doors extremely dirty, smell of urine at entry door going into the studio. Studio had been remodeled. We didn't feel comfortable or safe. I emailed the owner to sub rent as there was a festival going on and he should have been able to lease it. I asked for a refund due to conditions.

Studio was well stocked with linens, pool towels, etc. owner thank goodness provided private internet service since resorts was mostly off. Resort pool and tiki bar were still closed from hurricane- not room owners fault- but we still had a terrific time. Resort could use better cleaning in hallways and common areas but room was spotless. Ocean view was perfect! Totally need a car to get to restaurants, etc although there is a few chain places close and a grocery store.
Will return.

This was everything we needed. It had great views, beach access, and updated.
The negative I’ve noticed is all the locals park on the beach and use the pool.
This is the second time staying at the Hawaiian Inn and we will definitely be back.

The owner of the condo was very prompt with his responses to all of my questions. The condo was very clean and exactly as shown in photos. Loved the location, had no issues with parking. Tiki bar by the pool had excellent drinks and food! Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Everything you would need was provided. The view from the balcony is amazing. The bed was too hard. A nice mattress pad would be nice. Overall I would stay here again.

Beautiful,Relaxing and Stress Free
Jim is a super,super host in every way. Condo was very clean. We didn't cook as much as we usually do this time visiting.
Still the nice high end cookware and every you would need to cook anything. Everything works great. We love this place. Jim is always easy to communicate with. Our favorite condo in the area.

Nice stay
This room was super nice and we had everything we needed for our week stay. The hotel itself is very dated and not the cleanest, but the room definitely made up for it. I did read a lot of reviews about the shower temperature going from ice cold to extremely hot, which WAS the case.. so that's my only complaint. The view from the balcony is perfect and the kitchen was very useful since we did a lot of cooking. Jim made everything easy and not having to check-in was awesome .

Wow! My husband and I had the wonderful opportunity to stay at this beautiful spot right along the Atlantic! After weeks of searching for the perfect spot we found this one! The Studio condo faces the ocean and has a sliding door that leads out to a peaceful balcony with a view of the ocean as far as our eyes could see. This condo was very clean and well decorated an added plus was the full kitchen! We didn’t want to eat out 3x’s a day so we went to Winn-Dixie down the street and stocked the fridge for our stay. Pots, pans, utensils - everything provided in the rental. WINNING! We made some amazing dinners in the condo saving us big money.
Now I’m not a morning person but I made a cup of coffee and watched the sunrise almost every morning ;)
They have a Tiki Bar alongside of their outdoor pool- nothing like drinking a frozen drink and dipping your toes in the water. Oh. Did I mention the biggest seller?! The beach is LITERALLY 3-5 STEPS from the condo.
The owner (Jim) was extremely helpful so if you’re looking for a place to stay that is not only beautiful but also convenient and welcoming.

Always Amazing
We have been renting vacation rentals for several years in the US and other countries. We have had a great many adventures with all. Renting with Jim has been wonderful. The condo has always been clean. Our security deposit was returned very promptly. We cook a lot and really appreciate the quality of cookware,dishes ect. . We have stayed at several other condo's at this complex so far Jim's place is our favorite. The bed is great,the beach front view is the best. Beach chairs,umbrella's and beach towels are a great bonus. Looking forward to returning soon.

A bit of paradise
The condo was very clean, the bed incredibly comfortable and the view was gorgeous. Slept with the balcony doors open every night listen to the sound of the ocean. The parking is plentiful the place is a little old but it is kept upIt was lovely I will return

Great getaway!
Great for two people. Very clean. View from the balcony was great, especially for morning sunrises. Very short walk to pool and beach. Everything we needed was there, including beach chairs and an umbrella. Would rent this property again.

Great oceanfront view
The owner was extremely easy to work with. The unit has been beautifully updated and is well equipped. It is located in an older complex but that was only apparent in the corridors. The pool area, Tiki Bar, and beach access were all perfect for our stay. We would definitely book again.

Despite age of property-the room was in great shape and everything we needed was there, even down to the umbrellas and beach chairs, which we took advantage of! Location was a plus since we came down for the race, and were able to visit our old hangouts. We used to live 45 miles east of the resort, and used to come to the Hawaiian Inn before it was converted. Our kids used to love both pools, shuffleboard, and we enjoyed the setting as well as the tiki bar! The room was appointed with everything we needed. Bed was GREAT! And for the patio access to the best sunrise and setting was the best one could ask for, would recommend and will book again!

Very Nice Stay !
Quiet friendly place, enjoyed our 2 week stay. Staff very helpful and friendly. Studio was comfy and perfect for 2 but sleeps 4. Third floor balcony facing the ocean. Just listening to the ocean is so relaxing. Great pool atmosphere. Lots of local dining and shops. Visited different areas with plenty to do and see, Daytona Speedwaywithin 6 miles!

Cozy and Clean
This was our second time to stay in this studio. It was so cozy, well decorated and clean as whistle. We would recommend this studio to any couple. It was well equipped and the beach was very easily accessible.

Perfect for two w/ a great view!
This studio was very comfortable, with some extras thrown in. We were pleasantly surprised to find nice touches to an already well-furnished unit. There are extras, like beach chairs, umbrellas, fans, beach towels, extra bedding for the sofa bed. Well stocked with t.p., towels, wash cloths, coffee filters, kitchen amenities. Understand, going in, that this great unit is inside an older hotel, which could use a bit of updating to a couple areas. The pool deck is awesome. Very accessible to the beach and area restaurants and shopping, but far enough away from the pier area to be peaceful. It’s a bit of a walk, to the room, but worth it for the beachfront views and the room, itself. We were able to overlook the ever-changing water temp, mentioned in several others’ reviews. Jim is very prompt to respond via email, to any questions. We will be back!

Beautiful room for a couple
Our stay here was fantastic. The owner (Jim) was very easy to get a hold of and he was very accommodating. The room was immaculate and completely updated. The only minor little issue was that the shower is almost impossible to regulate the temperature, it was either scalding hot or ice cold. We figured if that’s the worst thing to happen when on vacation then we are doing ok. I would highly recommend this room, and this owner to any couple looking to enjoy an oceanfront room.

Our stay was fabulous and so refreshing! We saw a beautiful sunrise almost every day .
The place was very cozy and comfortable. It was so relaxing to hear the sound of the waves coming ashore each morning and evening. We loved it and plan to stay another time. It was a perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our wedding anniversary!

Wonderful view of the ocean and comfortable stay in Daytona Beach
We spent a week here in Feb 2019. The unit is as shown here with all the amenities. The owner has even gone to the extent to include the small details to give you a great rental experience. They have covered small details from leaving extra toiletries, the bathroom has plenty of shelf space for your bathroom needs, the beach chairs are quality ones, not the cheap kind that you sit on the sand, the bed was comfortable and loved the fact you wire tied the light switch to the lamp post so we could find them. We enjoyed the fact a rental owner took the time to include the details. We have stayed in other places where they offered nothing extra for your vacation. Thanks for the wonderful morning ocean views and the details! We will return when in Daytona and gladly recommend this rental to our friends!

Nice apartment. Wonderful view
I was in Daytona for work and stayed at this lovely apartment. I've stayed in quite a few rentals in this area and this was by far one of the nicest. The apartment is well apportioned, clean and with an amazing view. It is perfect size for one or two people. Only thing I would change are the curtains. The view is amazing but don't always want to wake up at 7am to see it!
