6 adults 2 kids stayed in this house. Great location to beaches and restaurants with night life. The house was plenty big, clean, and had everything we needed even beach chairs and toys. We would definately rent again. Big deck with views of the marina and beach.

I can't say enough positive things about our stay at 225 Casa de Balboa. The 3 bedroom is spacious and extremely well appointed. The linens and towels were very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. We loved the views from the living room, master bedroom, and the deck/balcony which was amazing. We had our dogs with us and Pam was wonderful working with us to accommodate us traveling with our dogs. We walked on the small bayside beach right in front, and also crossed over to the large ocean side beach which was only about 3 minutes away. The sunrises from the apartment are spectacular and the sunsets on the beach were mind blowing. We will definitely visit again.

Loved our stay at #225. Everything is as advertised on VRBO. The views! Beautiful!! The weather was great. We parked in the garage & walked everywhere until time to leave. Could have just stayed on the balcony all day long enjoying it all! Comfortable beds for 7 of us, great kitchen & our dog loved being there with us

It was a very nice stay and very clean. Everything was walking distance. The only issues were: air mattress didn’t stay inflated and was a bit hot. They may need to update the gutters, patio furniture, add central air.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Best property!
I think this was the nicest vacation property we have stayed in over the past 10 years. Everything was exactly as described in the listing, including the photos. The unit was immaculately clean when we arrived. As mentioned in the listing and reviews, the linens are top notch. The kitchen is very organized and stocked with clean and high quality dishes, pots/pans, glasses, etc. The mattresses are superb. The view from the balcony is peaceful, especially at sunrise. Excellent communication with Pam, the property manager. We will definitely be back!

Rent bikes close by at 20th street bikes, rides down beach boardwalk to ferry on palm street to balboa island:)
We also walked down to Lido Marina for lunch, great restaurants, view and shops. Uber to Fashion Island.
Limitless possibilities for activities and comfortable home.

Great location and place to stay!
We loved our time at Casa de Balboa. Pam was always very quick to get back to me if I needed to reach out and very great to work.
The only negative thing I have to say is that the washer was not working when we got there and the dishwasher was not installed properly and very hard to use. We would definitely stay here again but it would been nice to have these things working properly as we were there for a longer period of time.

Awesome with kids
Able to watch the kids play on mother’s beach while sitting on the balcony. You can also see the ocean from the balcony. Super short walk to Newport pier.

Best of Balboa Pinnicilia
We loved the accommodations and location of CASA De Balboa! Everything was clean, and looked great! I’m a cook, and brought many of my kitchen items with me. I found that the kitchen was already well stocked. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area, it’s view, and the outdoor heater! Would love to return!

Great location, close to many restaurants and stores. The kitchen was well stocked and all three beds were super comfortable. Not one complaint!

Not what I signed up for
Whole beach access was the highlight of our trip, the plumbing issues noise and traffic and overwhelming registration communication made it hard to enjoy my “vacation”. Constantly worrying about breaking the rules and then an unexpected flood in kitchen(yes ALL dirty WATER) - made it Very hard to relax. We ultimately had to pack up a day early. Leave after plumbing arrived in what was supposed to be our last family breakfast on our vacation. This was NOT how I anticipated celebrating my husbands retirement! I’m just hoping the owners see the inconvenience and offer some type of compensation.

We were very impressed with this clean property. Great location if you prefer less foot/car traffic yet such a short distance to either the marina/beach or the ocean.

Beautiful spot!
We had a lovely time at this property! The location is absolutely perfect because you don’t get the loud crowds from the coastline but you are close enough to beach and the advantage of the marina, which also has a calm beach where we paddle boarded and walked. Even our golden retriever Bear had a great time! Highly recommend!

Fabulous family holiday accommodation
This property is awesome and in a great location. The pictures do not do both the accommodation and views justice...Pam communicated with us prior to our visit so that there were no surprises. We asked for two play and packs for our grandsons and they were brand new. The kitchen is well equipped. The beds were heavenly. The location was perfect. We walked down to the lighthouse park early in the morning with one of our grandsons. As described it is ideal for children of all ages. The block walk to the other side of the peninsula to the boardwalk allowed us a walk to the Newport Beach coffeehouse and start the day on the beach. The area was very clean and quiet. Will definitely be coming back.

Great Stay in Newport
Our family just finished a long weekend stay at the Casa De Balboa, and it did not disappoint! Highly recommended!
Our unit, 229, was very nicely decorated and was absolutely spotless. We particularly enjoyed eating outside on the balcony overlooking the Bay!
Pam was very easy to communicate with, and provided all of the required information via email prior to our check-in. We look forward to staying at the Casa De Balboa on future visits to Newport Beach!

Comfortable Luxury
Our stay at Casa de Balboa was wonderful. We were 6 adults and stayed a week and never felt overcrowded. The location was perfect, steps from the sand views of the bay and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Pam recommended The Lighthouse cafe just down the beach it was great. The Casa is furnished beautifully inside and out you will love the deck! It is equipped with all the comforts of home from lovely bed linens and towels to a fully equipped kitchen. Pam was pleasant and easy to communicate with. Her email instructions were clear and helpful. In conclusion we cannot wait to stay again.
