We spent a weekend at a family event and needed to rent a place in Lake Placid. We found John’s cozy home and it was all we could ask for. It was clean comfortable and had that Adirondack flare that we were looking for. John was very responsive to all of our questions and I would definitely consider staying there again.

We had a wonderful nine day stay in Lake placid. John’s condo was the perfect homebase for exploring the area. It was very clean, cozy, And it had all the essentials. We really felt at home. The condo was also in a perfect location to the downtown area. A short 10 minute walk and you’re right in the thick of it all: restaurants, shops, and most importantly, Mirror Lake. Lake placid was no more than a 15 minute walk from the condo as well. John is a great communicator, offering some fabulous ideas on things to do and where to eat. We would definitely return to the area and stay here again. If I could give John’s space 20 stars I would.

My son and I were in Lake Placid for a 3 day tournament. This place was perfect for us! Ideal location where you can walk to town in 2 minutes. Condo had all the amenities we needed and I highly recommend. Very quiet at night; also super convenient to have access to laundry room. Parking was ideal right outside the condo. We travel to LP annually for tournaments and I would definitely return back to this condo. It definitely beats a hotel.

Everything about checking in was seamless. Home was accessible to everything in town, especially if walking.
Was a little disappointed to have to get shampoo, conditioner and soap for the shower/upstairs bath, but we left the large containers behind for the next, so hopefully they remain. Never saw one of the TV remotes upstairs but hopefully it is found.
The home and property were very well kept and nice airflow so we never needed fans or A/C. Plenty of reserved parking and two parking placards were available. Wish there was a community BBQ but there was a nice private (away from street) patio with a table and chairs. Nice quiet and shaded complex and neighborhood.

We had a great time staying here. Everything was walking distance and easy to get to. John was a great communicator and gave lots of helpful hints getting around Lake Placid. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved this place!! Matches the description exactly and is super convenient for the downtown in Lake Placid. We could walk everywhere. Check-in and parking was very easy as well. Fair warning, the ceilings in the bedrooms are a little low - but match everything in the pictures so it shouldn’t be a surprise. Just something to keep in mind for those who are a little taller. Communication with the property owner is great and he provided great recs for things to do in Lake Placid - which worked out since it rained a lot one of the days we were there.

We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and we could not be happier with our rental. Price was more than reasonable, and the condo was spacious and perfect for a family of 4, but could definitely accommodate a larger family! John was easy to work with, and when I requested an early check-in, he was more than accommodating.

The rustic charm associated with this region is evident throughout the property. Comfortable and fully equipped, our 3 night stay was incredibly relaxing. Located in a quiet neighborhood only a short distance from the shops and restaurants of the Main Street was an added plus. Highly recommend this property!

We found the property to be perfect as a “homebase” for our hiking getaway. It was also a great location for evening walking trips downtown after returning from our adventures.

Great VRBO for our stay in Lake Placid. Location was excellent! Able to walk to town which was wonderful. Place was very quiet and provided us with everything we needed.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We travel to Lake Placid often, however this was our first time using VRBO while staying in LP and it did not disappoint. This property was beautiful. The residence was very clean. The owner John was outstanding. He was in communication with us leading up to our stay and was available for any questions throughout. It was a short walk to Main Street, we did not have to drive all weekend. We would definitely stay here again!

Location for the 2 of us and daughter & son in law, was perfect for our long weekend! The property was plenty big for 4 people and cizy by the fireplace for the cold February nights. Everything we could need for a long weekend was provided. The property was also just a short walk into the village.

My wife and I wanted to go to Lake Placid for the weekend and we chose this property. We could not be more satisfied. The property was clean and had all the amenities you would want. It was less then a half mile walking distance from Main St. Communication with the property owner was excellent. We will definitely return again.

Stayed at the cabin for a Hockey tournament - it was the perfect place for our long weekend. Easy walk to Main Street shops and restaurants. Communication with the host was impeccable.

Very nice and cozy condo. We enjoyed the log cabin feel. Bedrooms were pretty small but we were only there 2 nights. We had everything we needed to cook and make coffee. Great location to see everything in Lake Placid.

John made contact with me about a week ahead of our stay, to make sure we had reception (since it can be spotty around there). Place was very clean and super cozy. Great centralized location to downtown. This was our 3rd VRBO of our trip and was everyone’s favorite.

Roomy, well cared for place. Great location--can easily walk into town. Plenty of towels and linens. Much nicer than the pictured in the listing. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a great trip to Lake Placid, the condo was in a cute neighborhood, just a couple blocks off Main St. My only comment is bring a cutting board if you plan to cook, only 1 small one was available. Really loved this place!

Very clean, well-stocked and just as advertised! Communication with property manager was fantastic. Would absolutely book this property again. The laundry room was more than expected and was very clean and accessible. The foosball table was an added bonus!

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy cabin. The location was excellent, right in the heart of Lake Placid, just off Main St. It was walkable to everything. Really enjoyed our weekend.
