What an awesome time at a beautiful place! Everything at the cabin was perfect and we loved staying on the farm and seeing all the animals and talking with Randy and Kim. They were such great hosts and thought of everything. They even had us a small anniversary cake for our 30th anniversary. We love the area and we were blessed to stay here. And of course we can’t forget the one and only Mr. jingles. My wife and I now have a new best friend in that cat. We will definitely be back.

This was our second stay at this cabin. It is by far our favorite place to stay. Randy is very friendly, their farm is so clean, the animals are friendly, and Mr. Jingles is an added treat. The cabin is extremely clean. All of the appliances and dishes that we needed were there and clean. We loved sitting in the swing on the porch to drink our morning coffee. We will definitely be returning.

Comfortable, quiet, and beautiful rustic ambiance. Landscaped creatively with attention to detail, charming animals abound. Generous hosts.

Beautiful setting. Amazing hosts. Loved everything about our stay! Mr. Jingles was a bonus! It was a much needed get away for us, and we will definitely be back...as often as possible!

The ad says this property is pet friendly. We did not find that to be the case. The owners did not appear to like the fact that we brought to dogs. They fussed about the barking and said we should’ve given them more notice that we were bringing them. They also claimed That we were required to bring crates for the dogs, which was not a requirement in the original ad that we read. We are very dissatisfied with their intolerance for our pets.

Perfect! Absolutely beautiful property, spotlessly clean, wonderful and gracious hosts, adorable farm animals, beautiful landscaping!! Nearby Mt Airy is a great place to spend the day…Andy Griffith Museum, Gertrude Smith House, so many unique shops, great local eating establishments. Make sure to check out Kim’s unique metal art sold at Mayberry Antiques!!!! Go hiking at Hanging Rock State Park and check out the five waterfalls. Can’t wait to return! Thank you Kim and Randy for a relaxing get-away!!

We stayed here for two nights to hike and visit wineries in the area and it was great. There are two entrances to the property. One winds through a few homes/barns on the 50-acre property. The other is off of Holly Cabin Road. If you come in off of Holly Cabin Road, it feels like you are totally isolated, albeit with a wonderful view of donkeys, goats, and grouse. The cabin is very quiet and comfortable and comes with its own pet cat that stays outside and is very sweet. The only negative was the squeaky bed. We would definitely stay here again though!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The cabin was very clean and smelled wonderful when you walked in. Everything was perfect. Mr. Jingles made our stay even better. If you are looking for a piece of heaven on earth, this is the place to stay!

What a wonderful, beautiful, cozy cabin. Can't wait to stay there again. The hosts Randy & Kim were so wonderful. Treated us just like we were family. We loved Mr. Jingles the barn cat who stays at the cabin outside in his heated house. The jet tub was my favorite and such a treat to relax and get settled into the country farm surroundings. I would recommend this cabin to all. 100+ star rating.

Owners Randy & Kim Hicks are amazing folks. The peacefulness & kindness we felt are truly beyond words & we wanted a place to feel safe. You could feel the presence of the Lord, just walking the property. To be honest, we both didn't rest well due to the mattress but, we didn't want to hurt their feelings by mentioning, due to my scoliosis & unfortunately my husband couldn't either. They were such a "blessing" to meet & I cried to say good-bye. Our intent was to visit Mayberry & see Pilot Mt. but, we it was so much more beyond that. Property was beautiful, goats, donkeys and hens, just a wonderful quiet setting. My wife has always wanted to go to Mayberry so we did , Cabin is great, beautiful , hosts Kim and Randy are great hosts and people, they go out of their way to welcome you and make you feel comfortable. We would highly recommend this cabin , will probably come back again.

My husband and I can’t even begin to put into words how much we enjoyed our weekend at this cabin! Everything about it is PERFECT! Randy and Kim are a very special couple and we enjoyed getting to know them. The cabin is so cozy and the farm animals are the icing on the cake. We enjoyed going to see them each day and they loved seeing us too! Then, there’s the cabin greeter that resides on the porch, Mr. Jingles the cat. He kept a close eye on us and we enjoyed his company. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful piece of Heaven here on earth!! We also toured their two bedroom cabin and it’s absolutely gorgeous as well! You will NOT regret booking this cabin!!

Spent a weekend in this wonderful cabin. It was very clean and well equipped with all tje necessities and then some. The owners really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a nice getaway and we will most definitely be returning.

I could not ask for a better experience. The cabin was very spacious and the pictures do it no justice. Equipped with everything including cinnamon bread, juice and the chocolate was a nice touch. The short drive to town’s scenery was just beautiful. We look forward to coming back soon.

I recently stayed at this lovely quaint cabin. If I could give it 10 stars I would! The cabin is immaculate, decorated so nicely with so much attention to detail, and it is so comfortable and cozy. There are majestic views of farmland and farm animals grazing that just MAKE you relax. The hospitality of the owners, Kim and Randy, exceeds all expectations. The kitchen has everything needed, the bed is so comfy, the jacuzzi tub is a great addition. There is accent lighting that adds to the lightness of the interior. There is an inviting front porch with comfy swings and a place to just “ sit and rock”. The owners are so generous and welcoming with treats and milk and juice. EVERYTHING WORKS in the cabin; the owners make sure of that. I felt extremely safe and because it’s pet friendly I was able to take my dog who made herself right at home in her bed by the gas logs. I cannot wait to return to this peaceful haven when all the foliage is lush and green. Even in the winter it’s such a lovely place. I’ve found my getaway!!! Thank you Randy and Kim !

Enjoyed our stay very much! We were in the area for a wedding and enjoyed some quiet time to ourselves. Loved visiting Mt. Airy and seeing Mayberry USA! Highly recommend this cabin! We will be back!

We could have been more pleased with our stay in this delightful and cozy cabin. Very clean! We love the animals and can't wait to return!!

Beautiful location in the woods but only 15 minutes to downtown Mt. Airy where there are restaurants and shopping. Kim and Randy, our hosts, were warm and friendly. The accommodations were spotless and they went the extra mile to provide OJ, milk and bread for toast. We loved the farm setting with donkeys, goats, chickens, ducks and the cat Mr. Jingles. We will definately be back again!

This little cabin is located in a farm setting but oh so close to shopping and the tourist sights. We enjoyed watching the goats, donkeys, and Guineas. Although we did go see some of the sights, our favorite thing was simply just spending our time at the cabin. The owners are the sweetest people. We look forward to when we can visit again.

Many thanks to Randy, Kim, and of course the resident cat Mr. Jingles for a quiet, relaxing two-night stay. Everything was exceptional—the hospitality, the cleanliness of the cabin, the fun farm animals, and the flowers and unique sculptures which dotted the landscape. The cabin is secluded but close enough to the main house that I felt 100 percent safe at all times. Pilot Mountain is only 20 mins. away, and it was great to see it again after so many years. I would recommend Holly Hill cabin to anyone!

This is what we needed, away from the city for a couple of nights. The place was clean, beautiful scenery and had a place for our dog to run. Owners communicated well and were accommodating for our request. Already booked another small get away in April, highly recommend!

A wonderful place to stay. It was home away from home, and it had a pet to claim while we were there as a bonus. We love the farm atmosphere.
