Waterfront Beach House close to everything!
* El Lummi Island Ferry entra en dique seco todos los años en septiembre. Very clean, well appointed, incredibly charming and cozy home with a beautiful backyard patio facing the Puget Sound. Lummi Island is quiet, safe, and the locals are super friendly. For the adventurous, a ladder will take you down to the rocks where you can walk or swim along the shore. In the main room, the leather sofa was comfortable for watching TV and the table with four chairs was where I kept organized and watched the Whatcom Chief ferrying to and fro. The master bedroom's queen-size mattress was soft and plush with high-quality pillows and cotton bedding. The twin mattress was firmer and a lovely spot for reading or a quick nap. The shower had good water pressure, and the soaking tub was a delight after long hikes exploring the land and nature reserves. The sunny kitchen, stocked with herbs and spices, cookware, dishes and cutlery, has a double sink and dishwasher which made meal prep and clean-up a breeze. The on site washer/dryer ensures you're able to go home with clean clothes. A dream vacation home which exceeded my expectations. Thanks for the hospitality!!

This is the perfect little getaway when you want peace, quiet and nature. Lovely view of Mount Baker. Close to the ferry, store, and cafe. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed for our 25th anniversary. The house was exactly what we expected and more. The view from the deck was amazing which is why we spent the majority of our time there. Highly recommend, if you are looking for peace and quiet.

Angie, the host, was particularly helpful and accommodating as we were traveling to Lummi during the annual ferry drydock period. We could only get across on the walk-on ferry, which had an abbreviated schedule.

The house was very comfortable and had the water views we were looking for. We loved the ferry crossing back and forth. It’s a quite community and the locals are friendly. We enjoyed wandering the beach at low tide.

So close to the ferry and shop and an exceptional view of Mount Baker. The Beach House was an unexpected winner for take out, including a delicious sundae. Beach was also an easy stroll to get to, which the dogs loved. So relaxing, I would def recommend for a small party

Loved everything about it. Lost power on the island for 2 hours first night and still couldn't lessen our love for this place. Will hopefully be back many times.

Getting to the island was easy, we never had any problems getting on the ferry. In the off season (end of September) not much was happening/open on the island. However, we were able to get food at the local mini mart and try local fish and chips at a mom and pop shop. The beach house was very comfortable, clean, and stocked with all necessities. The fireplace was cozy, the views were amazing and I relaxed nicely in the bathtub. ☺️

The landscaping greets you as you are welcomed into a charming home. It is well appointed,comfortable and peaceful.
We stayed a week. We found the kitchen had everything we needed and very functional (we enjoy cooking). We made all of our meals. Best view ever to brew coffee and wash a couple of dishes. We walked to Full Bloom Farm several times for eggs, veggies and fruit. Highly recommended.
The island is a place to kick back. We enjoyed hiking and lounging on the deck.Lovely community. You feel it.

The beach house had everything we needed for a relaxing, comfortable getaway. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the Islander store in one direction and the Curry Preserve in the other. We fell in love with Lummi Island and look forward to coming back!

We have been visiting Lummi Island for 18 years. Angie, who manages the property epitomizes the kind and caring people that we have come to meet on the island. The house is perfect for us. The view of the water and the ferry coming to and with Mt Baker in the background is awe-inspiring. The bed and couch are comfortable. The kitchen is perfect for our needs. Lummi Island, the place and the people are beautiful.

Angie was an excellent host, super responsive and helpful. The home is beautiful, loved the setting and being able to watch the ferry, birds, seals, and incredible clouds all day. This waterfront Lummi Island cottage has a view of Mt. Baker that is top notch! The cottage is super clean, cozy & well equipped! The back deck is lovely & private. This property definitely falls into our “visit again” category! ⭐️

Went to Lummi Island for a weekend. The cottage was great exactly what I expected from the description. The views were wonderful, I saw a few bald eagles fly by.

We love a quiet getaway to Lummi Island, and being close to The Curry Preserve, along the flatter part of the island and across from the Beach Store Cafe allowed us to simply take long walks and dine out right from the property. We also enjoyed the convenience of taking a day trip to Bellingham. As always, we picked up a few fun and unique gifts! Angie was extremely responsive and gave us a late check-out which we really appreciated.

Quiet, comfortable, with views facing West to Mt Baker and of the Lummi island ferry. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. There is a local farm stand nearby for local vegetables and goodies, otherwise we suggest bringing your groceries from the mainland. The local grocery store is good for fillers such as wine, ice cream, snacks. We would love to return to the lovely place.
