Everything we needed. This place exceeded our expectations. We rent alot, rarely use hotels, I cant say enough about how sweet this little cabin is. Nice size everything, once you open the door you feel at home. Got to meet Greg, real nice guy. We will definitely rent this Gem again. Clean, organized and cozy.

A perfect cozy little cabin with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. Kitchen is well equipped, the fireplace keeps things nice and warm and the beds are comfortable. Only concern was that the neighborhood is a bit rustic, but not a real worry - there's a nice beach a short walk away.

Our plans changed and We asked to modify the reservation as we would only need to stay 1 night. Owner said yes no issues, but then told VRBO he changed his mind after not responding for 12 hours to any calls or messages from me. We have the texts to prove this. Property is in the middle of abandoned/boarded up houses and vehicle junkyards. Not in a safe or welcoming area. Would not recommend. We never went in to the property. Ended up staying elsewhere as we did not feel safe after we drove to the property.

This Vrbo couldn’t have been cleaner or better equipped. Mr summers, property manager, was very helpful and accommodating.

Very nice and clean place

Cabin is great. Very clean. Kitchen is nice. Bedrooms are comfortable. Place is dog friendly with a "fenced" back yard but i would not put my dog back there. Yard in general could use some TLC. Neighborhood isnt well kept, although it is a short walk to the beach. Owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

Blocks from the Lummi Island Ferry. Good convenience store nearby. They don't sell alchohol. Jacuzzi bath did not fundtion.

We chose to stay here as part of a bigger trip for our son's college visitations. This cabin is about 25 minutes outside of Bellingham. For us, it created a perfect combination of a city experience in Bellingham and a quiet getaway for mornings and evenings. My husband and I sat on the deck with our coffee each morning and enjoyed all of the bird life that surrounded us...eagles, herons, swallows and gulls. It was really beautiful, and since the cabin is situated within Lummi Nation, I appreciated seeing firsthand how members are supporting each other and the casino seems to be generating wealth for the tribe.

The property itself is solid, clean & very comfortable. The kitchen has full sets of pots & pans, dishes & silverware. The rooms have nice pillows & beds, there were plenty of towels also. The fireplace took the morning chill off perfectly. My young grandchildren and i had a great time at a nearby beach, throwing rocks and looking for shells & agates. When we were at home, it was quiet and very relaxing. A nearby property sports a heck of a junkyard with tons of cars and isn’t pleasant to pass by, but other than that, zero complaints. I’d rent it again!

Very quiet and relaxing, perfect for day adventures to Lummi island or Bellingham.

The cabin worked really well for my wife and 17 month old daughter when we were having work done on our house. My wife said they enjoyed walking the beach and visiting nearby parks in Ferndale. This cabin was just what we needed, thank you!

First of all, the pictures were not accurate. The house was worn down, the deck was dilapidated and dangerous. No chairs for sitting on the deck. REALLY BAD AREA! Looked like the "hood". Abandoned cars everywhere. Scary, actually. I recommend staying at the Silver Reef Hotel if you want to stay in that area. I am really disappointed with the homes condition and the area as well. I will never use VRBO again. You never know what you are going to get and the owners of these properties don't appear to be honest. Waste of money, honestly.

We probably wouldn’t stay again because the property was further out from Bellingham than we would have liked.

It is a really nice cabin, a great kitchen, nice living room, washing machine and dryer...very helpful, two bedrooms and the bathroom. Not much for grocery shopping, so come prepared.

Lovely cabin near the Lummi Island Ferry. You cant see the water from the cabin but it is a very short walk to the beach. The cabin is homey, well mantained, and very relaxing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I saw a previous review that complained about the neighbors, but we had zero problems. Very quite.

While there could be a guard rail on the steps to haul our old bones up. The building itself was beautiful. Furnishings and beds were beyond comfortable. I would be tempted to buy it if it was for sale. Wish we could see the water from the cabin. But it was close by. Weather was great friends were great And we had a really good time @

The cabin it self is very nice we’ll maintain. Next door the people that live there are dirty an have a bad vibe and overall makes you uneasy.

We had a great time. The cottage is very cute and spacious. We will definitely be back.

Clean and well located.

Very nice well equipped cabin. We had a wonderful relaxing quiet weekend. For dog lovers, Little Squalicum is a must see! Miles of graveled walks, paths through the woods, large grassy field and a rocky beach. Our pups were in heaven!

The cabin had everything we needed plus. Ice maker didnt work but corner store sold bags of ice very reasonable. Had to drive a bit to see the water. Very relaxing. Good value for the cost.

We enjoyed our city getaway to beach time. The cabin was clean, cozy with a well stocked kitchen.We enjoyed our time walking on the beach, and hanging out. Portage Island (know the tides), picking up fresh fish from Barlean's, and a trip to Lummi Island were nice ways to explore the area. The island is very quiet right now which fit us nicely; we were prepared for shoulder season travel with snacks and lunch in tow. Look forward to coming again!

This cabin exceeded our expectations. We needed to vacate our home for remodeling for a few days and this was a nice choice. Close to Bellingham and close to the water. The cabin has all the luxuries of home and has recently been remodeled. All the amenities needed were there and we could tell a lot of thought went into prepping the cabin. Our dog, who is 13 and blind, managed just fine, there is a nice yard around the cabin. The propane heater made the cabin and all rooms just the right temp. We highly recommend this place.

Greg and Heidi make everything simple for their guests. Easy check in, clear communication, they have a lovely kitchen stocked with cookware so you can make a trip to the store and prepare your meals there without a hitch! Beds were comfy with plenty of warm blankets. The fireplace is so lovely to look at, and it keeps the cabin so warm! Our dog Dozer was comfortable as well. He enjoyed all the grass outside (we're from the desert in California). Cannot wait to come back and visit again! Thanks for a great time! The Bodnars

Cabin was perfect! Worked great for my husband and I and our dog. Was cold weather while we were there and the gas fireplace kept the whole house toasty! Pantry and house well stocked. Loved seeing all the stars at night. Will be back again!

Greg helped us out with anything w needed which wasn’t much since the cabin came stocked with everything you’d need. Location was in great proximity to the water and the stay is very cozy!

This was a petfect place to stay with my family. We had an amazing time. We had a little bit of a problem with the hot water but Greg was great to taking care of it and fixed it in no time. Love the cabin and well equipped. Thank you so much for everything you did for us. *Hope to be back soon.

The first 2 days were fine. The cottage is nicely equipped with kitchen tools and appliances, and basic supplies like spices, flour, sweeteners, sauces, etc. The beds were comfortable for us and there's enough space to be comfortable. Everything that we used worked as it should. It's a short walk to a pebbly beach strewn with logs and a sidewalk next to the road that runs around the bay, which is nice for walking and seeing totems of the Lummi institutions. The not so good parts are that it's in a neighborhood of tidy homes and mini junk yards, and the heat for the whole place comes from a gas fireplace in the far corner of the living room (except 1 bedroom has its own heat). The terrible part for us was that there are sometimes desperate people in the neighborhood, and one or more of them broke into the house while we were away by throwing a rock through a bedroom window. They stole a backpack and laptop with irreplaceable things in them as well as half of our Christmas gifts. The owner told us that it had never been burglarized . . . while people were staying there. We feel that this is dishonest. If there are known security risks, there should be protection available; an immovable safe, motion activated exterior security lights and surveillance cameras, security grates on the windows, and/or others. At the very least, there should be a prominant warning to take all valuables when away, and to leave lights on. So we can't recommend this "Secret passage to the San Juan Islands. Very quiet spot on a short, rural road." until security is improved.

We were lucky to find this cozy and pet friendly cabin last minute for the holiday weekend. The propane fireplace and the kitchen were clutch during the snowstorm! The kitchen had a lot of essentials you don’t know if you’ll find in a rental. We took the short walk to the beach a few times with the dogs and ran into two friendly neighbors on the way and all kinds of birds at the beach. The owner was quick to respond and helpful throughout. Honestly the cabin was cuter than I anticipated even with the pictures. We also appreciated the small fenced back yard for playing with the dogs in the snow!
