Such a lovely week! We loved the pool and it was a beautiful property inside and out.

Our group of 10 enjoyed our stay. Pool was awesome and got lots of use. We had everything we needed for our stay. Communication with host was great.
Cons: Air conditioner in main house doesn’t cool house on a hot day and no air conditioner in guest house. We did have an issue with spiders and insects and could not leave doors open in evening to help cool house.

-Exterior pool/yard area is very serene, peaceful, and relaxing
-While the house interior finishes are dated, they are in good condition and provide a cozy ambience
-Loved the location. Very close to village and restaurants, yet still removed from traffic and congestion
Cons:
-House does not have a master bedroom suite
-The guest house has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. To access the bathroom from the second bedroom you need to cross the first bedroom. Not a practical floor plan layout
-Guest house did not have central heating. Interior got cold at night

The photos dont do it justice, the pool, hot tub and garden are stunning! We had a very peaceful stay, the home is cozy and family-like with a custom feeling home. Not a single piece of IKEA furniture to be found as is typical in rental homes! The home feels like an inviting retreat. We loved our stay and would come back

My adult family of 8 enjoyed staying here for 4 nights over Thanksgiving. There was plenty of room for everyone to find places to relax comfortably and take in the peaceful surroundings, as well as places to all gather together. The driveway and garage provided ample space for our 5 cars. Everything inside is well labeled and instructions for use are easy to understand. The owners were quick to respond to questions we had before booking and even checked in via text after we arrived. Communication was great, and they were very accommodating with a couple of specific requests prior to arrival.
This comfortable home is on a beautiful, quiet and peaceful property. It has many windows overlooking the outdoor gardens. We only wish we could have spent more time on the outdoor patios soaking it all in, but our group was often out and about enjoying the area’s many walking, running and hiking trails and area activities. One couple did enjoy the hot tub.
It was nice to find a level one story home which my 89 year old mother could easily navigate. The 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms gave us the perfect space for our family. The separate guest house would be perfect for a young family. It has 2 bedrooms with separate outside entrances, and the interior door can be opened to join the rooms. Although the single bathroom in the guest house is accessed only through the queen bedroom, we made it work.
We highly recommend this home and will keep it on our “favorites” list for future visits!

Listing was just as described and perfectly laid out for two families traveling together (one in main house and one in guest cottage).
Kitchen was well-equipped. House was spotless. Yard was private and pool & hot tub were lovely and well-enjoyed by our family.

This property is beyond spectacular! It is everything plus more than meets the eye! The kids loved the pool and hot tub! In fact, we did too! All in all it was perfect for 3 families plus kids to share! I would give it a TEN out of ten stars….. it was that good!!

Members of my family kept using the words magical and enchanted! The house was designed so that nine adults could spread out, or come together, as the occasion dictated. The landscaping provided multiple areas, each with a different feel, for relaxing, meditating, or group gatherings. There were even different “views” around the pool area. Even with all the relaxing, we still found time for karaoke and card games! We definitely enjoyed our stay.

This beautiful property was fantastic for our multi-generational family trip! Even with inclement weather, there was plenty of room to spread out and the tranquil setting was just perfect. The location was great for day trips to Monterey, Santa Cruz, Carmel, and Point Lobos (don’t miss this gem!), and the nearby town had some yummy places for dinner. The house was well appointed and warm, and we enjoyed every second here. Thank you so much for opening your house to us! We hope to come back another time!

We had an amazing gathering with friends and family and enjoyed the beautiful grounds as well as the amazing setting in Carmel Valley, with Monterey and Pacific Grove nearby. The check in and check out process was very smooth and communication with Chuck was excellent. We are definitely hoping to come back again!

Loved this property! Used it as a base for a multi-day wedding event at Holly Farms. The zen feel was so relaxing. Every morning we were greeted by deer grazing in the garden. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed for a few casual meals "at home." Would love to stay again.

Classic & comfy, perfect for our “old friends” reunion. Lots to see and do nearby. Easy communication with the hosts. Thoughtfully appointed throughout, with artful touches, plenty of light-filled spaces to gather, and separated wings enabling individual privacy at night. Loved the hot tub with outdoor shower, followed by a dip in the October-cool pool. Thank you, Chuck & Lynda!

Great house for multi-generational gathering. A lovely, classic home and very comfortable. Not so fancy one can’t relax. The yard and pool area are iovely and relaxing. Kind of your own world. Kitchen very well stocked. We had a personal chef one night to prepare a special dinner and he had all that he needed.
Excellent communication with the owner.
The family was comfortable there and though it was perfect for the 9 of us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Ages ranged from 3 to 74!!!

This property is just outstanding. Our family of 10, 6 adults and 4 children, had a wonderful family vacation. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable and very roomy. The grounds were so pretty and the pool was the highlight of the vacation. Chuck and Lynda were so accommodating and helpful. We loved everything about this property.

This is a beautiful property, deep into Carmel Valley, close to nearby wedding venues. Sleeping arrangements allow for flexibility, total of 10 calculates Queen beds as for 2 guests. It would be a fun place to stay when not so busy with wedding activities. One guest was appointed as cleaner-upper, and did a beautiful job. Absolutely no pets!

We had so much fun at this house! It slept 10 of us and never felt cramped. The guest house was also used and was perfect for 4 people. The weather was warm, so we spent a lot of time sitting by the pool. The yard is large and beautiful. The location is great. We ate dinner down the road a bit, grocery store was close and downtown Carmel was a short ride. Carmel Valley is a little warmer and I think less foggy than Carmel. Overall a great stay and would like to visit again and use the pool. Thank you!

The house is fully stocked for a week-long stay. We cooked several meals, including BBQ. It's very quiet, and just a short walk into town, and an easy drive to Carmel, Monterey and Pacific Grove. The owner is very conscientious and helpful. We would definitely come back!

This property is a piece of heaven. The outdoor area is wonderful: pool is beautiful, there’s a great hot tub, outdoor shower, and great spaces to sit and eat. And the indoor areas are spacious, comfortable and everything is in good working order. We will definitely return!

Property and all its amenities described perfectly in listing. Although there is plenty of stuff on the Monterey peninsula for people of all ages to take part in, we were perfectly happy to spend most of our time just relaxing around the pool!
