Oh, mi ... este lugar es como un sueño hecho realidad! La cosa más obviamente maravillosa es la ubicación. Esto no es, simplemente "frente al agua" o "vistas del agua". Este es un estudio que ESTÁ COLGANDO sobre el océano. No es necesario abrir las puertas correderas de la plataforma para escuchar el océano ... ¡lo oirás independientemente! Juro que esta es la mejor vista que he tenido, y me he alojado en algunos lugares bastante fabulosos. El estudio fue perfecto para mí y mi perro. No estoy seguro de qué se trata (aunque voy a preguntar) ¡pero esta fue la cama más cómoda NUNCA! Hay una estufa de leña para el ambiente y un poco de calor extra (aunque el calor regular era más que adecuado) y los anfitriones proporcionaron madera! ¡Me he alojado en lugares con estufas de leña antes, pero NUNCA he tenido madera! Además, estuve aquí las dos primeras semanas de enero y hubo un montón de tormentas, la pequeña ciudad de Mendocino perdió el poder varias veces, pero Dan y Laura (mis anfitriones) tienen un generador, algo que me hizo sentir bastante satisfecho. Miré hacia la bahía para ver a Mendocino en la oscuridad. Dan y Laura son EXCEPCIONALES como anfitriones y como personas. Tuve buenas conversaciones con ellos y durante las tormentas, Dan se registró para asegurarse de que el generador estuviera funcionando como se suponía. The location is on the edge of a cliff. The views are the best you’ll find in Mendocino. The cottage is all floor to ceiling windows facing Mendocino Bay with the town in the distance. The deck has two Adirondack chairs overlooking the bay. The bed is perfectly located so when you wake up you’re seeing the view. I can’t wait to come back and hopefully stay a little longer.

Hubby and I spent a glorious week soaking up the sun on the deck over looking the cove and relaxing listening to the ocean waves. A great get away from the hustle and bustle of work and the demands of every day schedules.
Great hosts and an awesome location and well equipped place to stay. We will be back!

This was my 3rd stay at Cypress Cove. Many yrs. ago with my husband, last yr. with my sm dog & this yr. just myself. The view of the ocean & looking across at the town of Mendocino is wonderful! Very clean & everything you need for a nice relaxing stay. Great location!

Our visit to the cove suit was just as we expected it to be based off of reviews and the listing. Very well kept and clean little studio with amazing views! All amenities listed are accurate and just what we needed for a couples get away. We mostly ate out and had easy to make breakfast and dinners to make in the small kitchen, but it was perfect. Thank you to Dan and Laura for answering all of our questions quickly, easy checkout/check in, and for sharing your sweet little cove home!

Amazing bluff view of whitewater cove on 2 sides, lovely and spacious studio with windows on 2 walls and an awesome deck. Sunny but windy during our stay so only short stays on the deck but view from inside was at least as good! Dan was a terrific host and very responsive. We hope to come back soon!

We were looking for an ideal place to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We found this gem, the pics are nice, but the experience of driving up to the place was something you have to experience to fully understand how breath taking view Dan and Laura have. When you open the door, you get hit with a great view of the ocean and Mendocino town from afar, we loved our stay and plan to return. Thank you both for letting us enjoy your beautiful place.

Crashing waves, location, location, location!! Relaxing, private studio cottage with gorgeous views. This visit we used the induction/hot plate for cooking breakfast. It was easy to use and provided another meal option which allowed for a romantic morning on the deck.
Dan and Laura are gracious hosts with welcoming brandy and a special bottle of champagne in celebration of my husband’s 75th birthday ! Cypress Cove is magical and pet friendly too. We would give it 10 stars!!

This is the third time we stayed at this property. This time we stayed in the lower unit. It was great because there were no steps. Their homes are very clean and they are very communicative. I will definitely be back. I will be missing the sound of the ocean for sometime.

The Cove Suite provides spectacular views of Mendocino and the cove in between. Laying in bed at night, the Point Cabrillo Lighthouse sweeps the studio with its faint, but constant, reassurance. From the deck, the smells of the ocean and the nearby redwood forests fill the air. At night, when it is clear, the stars fill the sky, and the sound of the waves fill your dreams. This sweet little piece of the Northern California Coast is peaceful, romantic, isolated, quiet, inspiring--whatever you need it to be.

Cypress Cove is an ideal spot to enjoy the Mendocino coast. Situated cliffside above the waves, though close enough to experience the swell intimately. Secluded and private, yet a short 5-minute drive to the village and hiking trails. It's just what we were looking for.

The small studio dwelling was just perfect for a 4-night romantic and relaxing holiday in Mendocino. The only sound you could hear was the ocean’s symphony. The unit was on a private road with complete privacy. The room was arranged to make the most of the space. The bed was super comfortable and you had everything you would need for a pleasant stay.

We absolutely love staying at the Cove in Mendocino. We have been staying at this spot since the late 90’s and although we have visited a few other hotels and vacation rentals this is our favorite. It has everything you might desire to enjoy and relax for a long weekend or more. Amazing view of the ocean, lovely sound of the sea, fresh air and a cozy unit with a warm and welcoming feel. Clean and well stocked with a couple of nice surprises… You’ll see. Just delightful!!

My husband and I have been coming to Mendocino for over 40 years...it is our special place. This was our first time staying at the Cove and we felt like we have found our "new home". The views are stunning with the waves crashing and the sounds of the ocean 24/7, looking across to the Mendocino skyline. We enjoyed the privacy in a very quiet neighborhood. The Suite has everything you would need to prepare meals and was one of the best stocked kitchens we have stayed at. The wood burning stove was nice in the evenings and provided an additional layer of coziness. This was our 47th anniversary and we will be back for our 48th and a birthday or two as well. Dan and Laura have put a lot of thought into the details for a romantic, cozy hideaway. Our time was truly magical. Thank you Dan and Laura

Located just out of town, the property did not disappoint. Beautiful property, beautiful surroundings with beautiful views and never-ending sounds of the ocean waves. In the evenings, we would drive into Mendocino to watch sunset, grab dinner then retire back to the property to start a fire and enjoy a glass of wine on the deck with views of city lights. This property was fitted with a kitchenette that was enough for us to make breakfast and water pressure was amazing for showers. I definitely recommend as a romantic retreat.

The view from the large deck and from inside looking thru all the large floor to ceiling windows was absolutely amazing! The hosts provided everything you could need. It was very tastefully decorated reflecting the ocean. Furniture was very comfortable. Location was easy to find and quiet and yet still just a few minutes from town. The hosts were quick to answer any questions we had, and because of their graciousness we will be back. This is one of our favorite places now!

We enjoyed the seclusion & the view was fantastic! The wood stove was so nice to have, bathroom & kitchenette had everything we needed. The only thing we wished for was a screen for the sliding door. But perfect location, private, yet easy to find & so conveniently close to Mendocino. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would love to come again!

A wonderful few days enjoying the awesome view from the bedroom/living area or the deck day and night. It feels like you’re the only people enjoying this idyllic location.
We would love to return again. Our only complaint is that we received the check-in instructions too close to check-in time. We were travelling in remote areas prior to check-in and had poor internet and cell coverage so were afraid we would not get the information in time.

Our stay was great. The rental property was well maintained and very clean. It was equipped with all the things we would need during our stay. It has an amazing view of Mendocino and the sound of the ocean at night was wonderful, we got some great sleep. We sat on the Balcony and had a glass of wine while we took in the view.

Cypress Cove is exquisite! We spent our days sitting in the Adirondacks starring at the ocean and Mendocino and our evenings cozied up in the living room, fire lit, and a North Coast Brewery beer in our hands. We booked our next stay during our visit!
The bed is comfortable, and well lighted for late night reading. The bathroom is beyond expectation--the jacuzzi tub is so nice! The kitchen is basic, but everything you need. But, the best spot is the deck with the two Adirondacks and a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine at sunset.
Also, really appreciated the check in process, so easy and practical! The house was immaculate and there were plenty of bath towels. Excellent communication with the owners, Dan and Laura.
