This little cabin is the place to stay. Right outside of downtown Gatlinburg its no trouble getting to the venues downtown. It was easy to find. It offered amazing views and great amenities. a true little home away from home in the mountains.
The only complaint could be the proximity to another cabin, but that was practically unnoticeable once you are inside and settled.
I would stay here again anytime I am visiting Gatlinburg

This was one of the best VBBOs we have stayed in! We enjoyed our stay there. Most trips we are off sight-seeing, but I was inclined to stay in more due to the coziness of the cabin and the hot tub! The place had everything we needed and is so well decorated – very cute. Also very close to places we wanted to go. The view from the deck is a huge plus!

I instantly felt the peace & tranquility of the surroundings with a picturesque view of the mountains. You could want for nothing more with the amenities. The owners thought of every little thing you could possibly need or want for your stay. I didn’t want to leave!

This cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway. The cabin is very clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would need for your stay. The hosts are great to work with and truly care about making sure your stay is enjoyable. The views from the cabin are breathtaking! We will definitely stay there again.

Such a beautiful and meticulously clean cabin with beautiful views. The cabin is in the perfect location right between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg both being only about 5-7 minutes away from either. Mike and Angela were the perfect hosts, calling to make sure our stay was perfect. We could not have asked for a better stay. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen fully stocked with all cabinets labeled making appliances, plates, glasses, and utensils easy to find. Don’t hesitate one minute about booking this cabin. I promise you will not be disappointed. The cabin, views, location, and cleanliness, along with the sweetest hosts were amazing.

This was my husband and my third time to Gatlinburg but our first time staying at “The Good Life” cabin and we were “DEFINITELY NOT DISAPPOINTED”!!! Mike and Angela were such amazing hosts!! This cabin is in a great location and has some of the best Mountain View’s we’ve ever seen! The cabin was SUPER CLEAN and has everything you need in it and more! We will MOST DEFINITELY be returning again!!!

We had the most wonderful weekend getaway at the Good Life Cabin! The owners were so friendly and communicated well. This place is extremely well maintained- beautiful and sparkling clean. The views of the mountains are stunning and it’s only a short 10 minute drive into Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. I cannot say enough good things about this place- highly recommend!!

Everything was so clean and welcoming! The view took my breath away and changed all the time. Lots of cardinals and bluebirds flew around while we sat outside! The whole cabin was even better than the pictures and we can’t wait to come back next year! It’s also close to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I’ve driven some crazy twisty TN roads to get to a cabin but this one is all paved and fairly easy to get to. All around, such a great trip! Thanks Angela and Mike!

My wife and I rented the cabin for a weekend getaway, and the cabin did not disappoint!! All the comforts of home with everything you need right at your fingertips. This was our fourth stay at The Good Life. This cabin is by far our favorite. We look forward to every time we are scheduled to stay at this amazing place. The layout is perfect. Mike and Angela always make sure we have everything we need and that there are no issues with our stay.
We love the jacuzzi on the back deck and the gas fireplace in the living room. The view from the back deck is stunning, a great place to watch beautiful sun rises and sunsets,
There is a list of places to go that’s always spot on.
We had an amazing time , as always. We look forward to our next scheduled getaway at The Good Life.

Had the most lovely stay at this cabin! The view is absolutely stunning - even in winter. The cabin was exceptionally clean upon arrival and well stocked. Communication with Mike was fantastic; he even called us the day before to tell us that we could check in as early as we wanted, which was great because we were driving in snowy conditions.

From the moment we walked in we were in awe of the cabin. It is perfect for any couple and the views are AMAZING! Everything was very clean & tidy. It is at a very convenient location if you’re wanting to visit things in gatlinburg and pigeon forge. We can’t wait to be back.

We visited the beginning of December and LOVED this cabin!! It was so cozy, relaxing, clean and perfect!! Our first trip to Gatlinburg was amazing and this cabin made it even better!!! This property was gorgeous and perfect for a honeymoon away! This property is in close proximity to the shopping strip of Gatlinburg and only 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge!! Mike and Angela were so sweet and helpful I would 10/10 recommend and we plan on coming back!!!

The views, the cleanliness, the updates/upgrades and the communication were all so amazing! We even got a phone at the end of our stay from the owners asking how our stay was. This was our third stay at our favorite place in Gatlinburg, The Good Life cabin. We needed a quiet place to decompress that was close to all our favorite places to visit. The jacuzzi on the back deck and the cozy fireplace were just what we needed to relax. We highly recommend this gem tucked away on the side of the mountain. Kudos to the cleaning team, everything was perfect. We cannot wait to come back. Make sure to write about your stay in the journal provided at the cabin. Thank you Mike and Angela for a great getaway place.

Perched on a ridge amidst the Tennessee hills with an awe inspiring view of Mount Le Conte towering in the distance, The Good Life is the epitome of a Smoky Mountain cabin. You can literally see for miles. And, it’s location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge is extremely convenient.
The atmosphere inside the cabin is comfortable and cozy. It’s the perfect place to retire after a long day in The Smokies and town.
My wife and I were very pleased. The Good Life was everything we expected. We’ll be back!

The cabin is super cute and great for couples. It was in a great location and had great views of the mountains. However the setup outside was weird. Everything was facing the direction that was NOT towards the mountains. We had to move the chairs to face towards the mountains and the view was partially blocked by the hot tub. The picnic table was not facing the mountains at all and same with the swing. We thought this was odd considering the view of the mountains was great but we couldn’t fully enjoy it. The cabin did have everything you need if you wanted to cook or do laundry which was very nice. Another downside was the fireplace. There was a very loud timer when we tried to use the fireplace which was super annoying and made us not want to use it which was honestly upsetting. We don’t have a fireplace and home and we were excited to feel all cozy with the fireplace going. We also noticed the floors were really dirty. You weren’t able to see it but after showering and walking around my feet were completely dirty again. Other than the floors, the cabin felt like it was clean. The owners were very nice and communicated well from booking all the way through check out. I would still recommend this place, just a few things I would change.
