Wonderful property, great for a group. We split both cottages among 6 adults and 2 kids. Stairs were tricky to the lofted bedrooms and pool deck could be slippery. Everything else was fantastic.

Everything we needed. Would stay here again.

Perfect location!

These are two great cottages and perfect for two families of four. Property was clean and has probably one of the largest pools on the island. We were there during off season, so not sure what this would be like in the peak season, but we truly enjoyed our stay.

We couldn't have asked for a better find in Key West! The cottages were perfect for our family and kid's guests. The pool in the yard is perfect, just right after a day of walking around to all the sites! The location is great, at the quiet end of Duval with two cafes on the corner next door, walking distance to many of the sites and landmarks, and the rest of Duval Street. The cottages were clean and well kept, and the management company is responsive, friendly and helpful. We would 100% rent this place again!

Great place would consider using it again

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was in great shape and had a great location. Just far enough down Duval to be out of the big scenes but close enough for us to park the car on the street in front of the units and walk everywhere. The pool provided for a relaxing cool down after a full day of walking. One thing to note, the south unit, left unit if facing at the front, adjoins to the fence of the bakery next door. Their fence ate opens and closes in the morning (early) and can sound like the front door of the unit opening and closing. A great place to stay, would definitely come back.

This is a very nice property. Close to everything and very relaxing. Highly recommend. Only cons..parking can be difficult, not enough bed linens ( extra blankets, etc)

This place was amazing!! It was perfect for our party of 8. The location was awesome, close to most things. We rented a golf cart for the week and that was a great purchase. We had most everything we needed. LOVED the pool😍 and backyard. The iguanas roaming were one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Key West was absolutely amazing and I will be back. Only few things that I could say is the pool area is VERY SLIPPERY. I didn’t fall, but several in our party did. The stairs are very noisy and narrow but definitely not a reason to not make me stay here again. This place gets 5 stars from me!!

The cottages were perfect for the Key West experience with nice amenities, a beautiful pool, and 15 steps from Duval Street. Came here with old friends to catch up. Will be back with my wife to enjoy a romantic, fun getaway.

We were able to walk to everything that Key West had to offer. The location was great and the watching the Iguanas in the backyard trees was an added bonus.

We had a great time utilizing both of Pete’s Cottages. The pool was great and the location was good. Our only negative and has nothing to do with the neighbor lady as she is kind of a “Karen” she yelled at us for where we were parking but her vehicle was already parked. She caused a scene at the front door and then waited for my husband to come out to yell at him again. Otherwise this place is perfect!!!

This was the perfect spot, the two cottages are great for 2 families and the pool was an added bonus. Everything was clean on our arrival. Great perk is that you are so close to great eateries and steps away from Duval. Bike rentals were 3 blocks away and a good way to explore the island. Would highly recommend and would plan a stay again.

Pete's Cottages are a welcomed getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Louisa Street is, in my opinion the perfect location when visiting Key West. From being feet away from the normal foot traffic of Duval, it also lends to that old town feel with alley-sized streets that allow a casual stroll down to the Southernmost Point. Within a few minutes walk, you can be submersed in the thick of the party, or a quiet back street to take in the historic homes of Old Key West. When it comes to the property itself, the enormous backyard pool (which seems like one of the biggest private pools on the island) is backdropped with perfectly placed palm trees sprinkled with a few iguanas to set the mood (but let you know you’re never completely alone!) While the two bed sleeping arrangements are nicely sized and quite unique, the spiral staircase in each unit (keeping in mind the space restraints in properties built in the early 1900’s) could be reworked to assure additional safety for tenants not used to such tiny stairs. All-in-all, we absolutely loved Pete’s Cottages and would most definitely consider staying here again in the future… (until we decide to permanently move to the island that is!) The staff was more than friendly when booking, checking in, and throughout our entire stay and made us feel at home from day one!

So originally, I thought this property to be "a little far" down Duval, boy was I wrong. So many new great places to eat and bars on that end. Also away from the ruckus and gritty tourist feel. Located behind 2 french breakfast spots, I learned that I will forever book my stays close to a breakfast spot. You can smell the fresh bread hanging out by the pool Also, just a quick note, if you keep your eyes on the top of the back fence while at the pool you'll notice it's an iguana highway between the trees. Keep the doors locked, lots of foot traffic right outside, but we had a BLAST at these cottages would stay again. Also, the upstairs bed area is really small, we probably wouldn't have been as comfortable if we'd had 4 adults in each cottage vs 2. I would DEFINITELY stay here again!

The two cottages together were a perfect stay for a group. The loft bedrooms are perfect for teens needing their space. The private pool was fantastic after a long hot day. AC was kicking which was needed in the August year!! Loved the location on the quiet end of Duval street. The only complaint we had was the slippery pool deck. A couple people in our group fell so please be aware of how slippery it was.
