Amazing Downtown Home-Beautifully Updated/Great Rooftop Deck/Walk Everywhere!
Nuestra casa de 1909 ha sido completamente renovada y bellamente decorada. Ubicado en el histórico Garden District, se encuentra a pocos pasos de Sherman Ave, el centro de la ciudad, el complejo y las orillas del lago Coeur D'Alene.

The Foster house in downtown was a perfect location to walk to anywhere in the downtown area - restaurants, beaches, park and more.
Diane was always receptive and the check in process was easy. The house was fantastic for 6 women and the outdoor patio was the icing on the cake. We spent our mornings and evenings sitting on the deck enjoying the beautiful weather and many laughs.
Highly recommend this rental. You won’t be disappointed.

The Foster house was perfect for me and my sisters family. Truly felt like home away from home. The house was stocked with everything we could need to make meals at home, but also close to town if we were feeling takeout or a walk to the lake. The neighbors are super friendly. Check in and checkout was seamless. The upstairs patio/massive deck feels completely brand new and was perfect for relaxing in the evening with lighted umbrellas. Very tranquil. Rooms had their own AC units. Would definitely chose to stay here again!!

Can’t beat the short walk to downtown from a charming and well equipped house! We thoroughly enjoyed this house and loved being on the deck into the evening with the lighted umbrellas. Truly a gem.

This was a great place to stay. The house was big enough for our extended family of 10 people. The rooms were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well furnished. The location was ideal as it was within walking distance of the beach, downtown and Tubbs Hill. Highly recommend this property.

All of my brothers, sisters and I returned with our father to our hometown to celebrate the 4th of July. We watched the fireworks from the roof deck and enjoyed the reunion! Great place to stay!

This is the second time we have rented Diane’s lovely home and we will stay there every time we visit CDA! It has lots of room, all of the amenities we need, and we love the rooftop space. The home is always clean and the location within walking distance to downtown is perfect. The fireplace makes it cozy in the winter and the outdoor dining space on the rooftop makes it fun in the summer. Diane is also tremendously responsive to our every question and need, she’s even going to ship back the jacket my daughter left there. Can’t be beat!

My fiancé and I live local. We live in Post Falls Idaho. But we had all of our out-of-town children and grandchildren coming to stay with us for our wedding. We wanted to all stay together so we rented this home. Also out of town friends came and had dinner with us one night evening as well, and a brunch the day after the wedding. The sun came out and we enjoyed the deck. I think we used every inch of the home! Beautiful home. Amazing experience. It made our weekend extra magical!

I stayed here in Sept 2022 with a group of friends to cycle in the Coeur D'Alene area. The house was just what we wanted with a great location, excellent upstairs deck and loads of space. A very nice property.

We were in Couer DAlene for a family wedding. Because we came in from the Midwest we wanted to stay a few days after to explore the area. The home was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Close to town so we were able to walk in and explore. Very nice stay.

Cute home with lots of charm! We had a lovely week & spent lots of time on the rooftop deck enjoying the view and the weather. Kitchen was stocked well, as well as the garage. (Beach chairs, frisbees, even an electric pump for our tubes!!) The washer & dryer were great as well. Just a short walk to the park & beach. Walked to Mrs. Honeypeep’s ice cream every night. Great place for a family stay.

Close to all the action!
This place was perfect for our family vaca to CDA! We had adult kids and small grandkids with us. The home is located in a clean, safe neighborhood. It was fully air conditioned, safe for littles and stocked with all the things you have at home. We walked to the beach from the house using the wagon and umbrella stroller, carrying the beach umbrella and beach chairs that were all provided with the home. The outdoor deck was fabulous (two rooms open up to the deck) and the beds were very comfortable. We’d definitely stay here again!

Very Nice!
A great stay with ample space for our family of eight. Property was just as described, in a great location close to all the Coeur d’Alene activities. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were firm but comfortable, and AC units in each bedroom a big plus.

Our first daily trip to CDA and we couldn’t have picked a better house and location! Close to everything - walking and biking to downtown and the lake (4 bikes included!). Well appointed and SUPER clean. The rooftop deck was lovely for evening glasses of wine or morning coffee. We highly recommend!

The dining room and kitchen accommodated lots of meals and conversations. The house is lovely inside and really did feel like home. The property manager went out of her way to meet us and get us settled. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice place
Really nice place, the week we were in Cda, I was hoping for Central AC, didn’t pay attention to window units, my fault, the back bedroom off the deck gets warm, but they have wonderful ceiling fans everywhere. One unit stopped working and they came right over immediately to put in new unit! Stocked with everything you can ask for, only other minor issue, is my daughter was there with her one year old twins, the house provides tons of baby gear, gates, high hair, crib toys!! The only bathtub is in upstairs bathroom and it’s a big deep jacuzzi tub with glass sliding doors, so pay attention if you have two littles in there😊hard to reach the babes👍🏻

Beautiful home in CDA Garden District
Very comfortable home with plenty of room. A/C very helpful with the unusually warm temperatures. Kitchen well stocked and grill a plus, as we ate in a couple of nights. Property manager very accommodating with check-in. Very accessible to town; Garnet Cafe is a gem for breakfast.

The Foster House - Perfect Stay!
We loved our stay at the Foster house for our family vacation in CDA this year! The house has every single amenity you could ever need and then some! The little ones had toys and activities to play with…and the outdoor bbq and upper deck was perfect to have dinner in the evenings. The extra amenities such as a wagon to haul lake toys back and forth to our boats was an added plus. Thank you Diane for your extra attention to all the details. We will def consider coming back again!

Family vacation
We had a lovely time at this property and would rent it again. This place was so well stocked we only had to buy food - that was such a nice blessing. There were also toys, lawn chairs, a wagon, boogie board so much that made it great for us. We loved the upper deck and spent most mornings hanging out there. The fenced in yard was great for our grandkids. The place was kid friendly so I wasn't nervous that things would be broken but yet it was beautifully decorated. The location is perfect to walk into town or to our boat moored at the resort. We did arrive during the heat wave so the only downside of this place was the AC is window units - one downstairs and 2 up in bedrooms. It was just difficult to keep up with the heat. The smaller bedroom was like an oven so we put fans and tried to cool it down the best we could. There are ceiling fans but with this heat wave they just stirred the hot air - this was just circumstances so I felt the property deserved a full five star rating. Would love to see a central air system and then this place would be perfect. That being said - the whole family said they'd loved to stay here again so that one negative was far outweighed by all the great positives of this place. Thank you for renting your home to us.
