Ubicado en un tranquilo rincón de Grasmere, disfrutará del cómodo alojamiento que esta encantadora casa de campo tiene para ofrecer, con vigas de madera a la vista y una hermosa decoración. El río Rothay serpentea cerca y usted está rodeado de paisajes deslumbrantes, ¿dónde está mejor ubicado?
La casa contigua a otra propiedad similar, y disfruta del beneficio de su propio espacio de estacionamiento. Deje el automóvil atrás y salga a caminar abundantemente y caiga justo en la puerta, pero a solo unos minutos se encuentra el popular pueblo de Grasmere con todo, desde tiendas de té hasta excelentes restaurantes, y por supuesto el famoso "Pan de Jengibre Grasmere". Si prefiere quedarse, la zona de asientos del patio es un lugar ideal para sentarse y disfrutar de las noches más cálidas. ¿Por qué no visitar algunos de los muchos lugares que inspiraron a Beatrix Potter, o para un día más relajante, hacer un viaje en los cruceros de Windermere cercanos, solo recuerde traer su cámara? Playa 29 millas. Tienda y pub 500 yardas, restaurante 200 yardas.

Having been to Grasmere since I was a child I have stayed in many cottages and hotels in Grasmere. The Stables was one of the best. We had a wonderful time. It is a very comfortable well equipped cottage. Everything possible has been done to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The added surprise of welcome gifts, even something for our dog was a really nice touch. Would definitely return.

Last year we enjoyed our stay at Grange End - Coach House and now have equally enjoyed our stay at Grange End - The Stables. We love Grasmere and The Stables is ideally located to explore the breath taking and majestic scenery. The only possible downside is the unreliable internet - we didn't really have a problem with this but some might. We were 3 days without TV - finally we managed to contact the occupants of the adjoining cottage where the router is located and they very kindly rebooted it for us. However, going forward I don't think bothering the neighbours is an ideal solution.

This is the third time we have used a cottage from this company and the best experience to date. The location was perfect for 'access all areas' walking in the lakes and the village had everything you could need, although northern beer is not as tasty as southern beer! The cottage was equipped adequately and would only be improved with a proper log burner, oh and a stair gate to prevent the hounds from venturing upstairs. The bed was so comfy...
All the little extras for the dogs and the welcome prosecco were greatly appreciated.
If there was any complaint, it would be the internet connection and given that the TV relies on it also this was disappointing - instead of sharing a router with the adjoining property it ought to have its own. Nonetheless a fab place to stay and would thoroughly recommend it. We would return happily.

A lovely little cottage in a good location within easy walking distance into Grasmere. The cottage was clean, well equipped and very tastefully decorated. The only slight downside for us was the lack of a garden. There were 2 small seating areas but both were overshadowed by large trees. However, there were plenty of lovely walks for our dog direct from the cottage and the surrounding scenery was stunning.
