We had a wonderful break at Lake View.
We had a wonderful break at Lake View. The house is in a perfect location, very close to amenities but still offers peace and quiet. The views are stunning. We loved living amongst the trees in all their Autumn colours. House was spotlessly clean and has all the home comforts for a great stay. Perfect base for exploring the lakes and surrounding areas. I would highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic, comfortable apartment. We couldn't fault this apartment in any way. The location is perfect with a partial lake view, within walking distance to shops, pubs and restaurants. Extremely clean, thanks to Sean and his team. We would like to thank him for his speedy response regarding the faulty toaster which short circuited the electrics meaning we had no power for a short time. All in all a great place to stay and hopefully we will return in the not too distant future.

Considering the Covid 19 restrictions we had a wonderful holiday, the accommodation was prepared to a high standard and sanitised, it felt completey safe.
The local amenities were also safe to visit.
A lot of our holiday involved outdoor space on the fells.
The apartment was just as comfortable as our previous visits.
Overall a wonderful holiday.

Our 19 th year staying at this accommodation and already booked again for next year,you are a two minute walk from bowness centre but are away from all the hustle and bustle,there is a balcony to sit out on and beautiful views of the lake and mountains

Had a great short break here.
Had a great short break here. Very close to everything Bowness has to offer. Good location, and the bonus of free parking.
Only niggles were the lack of soap in the bathroom and kitchen, and never stayed anywhere without a welcome pack of at least a pint of milk. Had to go out and get milk, and then again for liquid soap.
Great stay though, would consider returning.

We visit the Lake District almost every year and in the last ten years or so, have stayed in this property. We have always found it to be clean, well equipped and comfortable and because its elevated with the lounge on the top floor, it benefits from superb views over the mountains and lake Windermere through very large patio doors. With a ground floor garage and a top floor balcony, its a superb place to stay. It has broadband now and yes it can be a little expensive but in our view well worth it.
