The property is perfectly located across from the beach, in the middle of town. Walkable to all. Completely supplied down to the salt and pepper shakers. Very comfortable. Immaculate. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Thank you Sal!

Property was as described. Both the owner (who was out of the country) and the property manager (who seemed to be on site every day) were extremely helpful. We would stay here again on our next visit to Montauk.

Great getaway!

Everything was clean! Everything in perfect working order! Property manager was easy to access. If I had any questions, he responded back immediately. This house is very very close to the main street. Beach access is less than 100 yards away. A very small town with nothing but mom and Pop stores. I feel like I stepped back into the 1980s. The MNR deli has wonderful, açai bowls, and the MTK lobster house has amazing lobster rolls. I’m already daydreaming about them. If you rent this house, enjoy! I know you will.! This is probably my favorite vacation spot ever! We will 100% be coming back next summer to rent this exact same home! By the way, the neighbors are all quiet and respectful.

This is a very nice location, only a few steps from the magnificent beach, though the lovely village is just around the corner. Great apartment, very well kept and everything is there. Ideal for a group of 4. Host is very friendly and supportive.

We loved our stay here! Everything is renovated. It is steps from the beach, and right in town so everywhere you need to go is within walking distance. A great two weeks!

Nice condo located near town and beach. Very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Owner was very welcoming and easy to contact if we had questions/concerns. I highly recommend!

My friends and I rented this condo for 10 days to vacation and spend quality time with friends. Property owner lived in a condo next door which was convenient when there were questions and issues. There was no door in the upstairs bathroom which was odd. No cleaning supplies were supplied. Overall stay and location was great! Walkable to town and beach access point.

The townhouse was great, very clean, with fabulous ocean views and within 5 minutes walking , you were on the beach! My “host” Sal, was there to greet us, did a walk through of the house, he also provided some of the beautiful “Montauk” daisies which was very thoughtful. He was very helpful, as well, with restaurant recommendations , which definitely were needed. The weather was beautiful as well, which made for a wonderful and well needed vacation! Plan on coming back next year, highly recommend if you are looking for a comfortable and well kept vacation home! Thanks Sal for your helping to make it a great experience! Vicki

Just spent 6 nights at this great property. It is truly in the perfect location - across from the beach, next to the supermarket, and within walking distance from shops and restaurants.

I booked a week's stay at Sal's condo for my daughter's 15th birthday. We have been visiting Montauk for 20 years and have always had great experiences in town with condos and hotels/motels. My daughter loves to stay in downtown Montauk and this condo is well located to park and walk everywhere in town for your entire stay. The condo is triplex and advertised to have central air. Apparently, the central air broke, but Sal did not inform me of this until days before we got there. But, he said he put in window ACs to replace the central air that "work great." HOWEVER, when we arrived, there was no widow AC on the top floor where the master bedroom is located (he didn't even have a single fan on the top floor or anywhere in the condo). This made the top floor/master totally unusable and a complete misery at the end of August. The temperature upstairs ranged from 87-100 degrees during the day and most nights. It was literally hell on earth. Sal tried to tell us that closing the windows in the master and running window AC on the bottom floors would cool the top floor/master bedroom. This is utterly ridiculous and untrue. Cold air SINKS; it never rises. It was so miserable in the master that my husband and I ended up sleeping on the floor on the main level with our younger daughter on the couch for 3 nights. After that, we couldn't take it and packed up and left the condo to stay elsewhere for the rest of our vacation (4 more nights). So, we paid for 7 nights but only stayed 3 nights at Sal's condo. It was that BAD! Sal was out of town and completely condescending and unhelpful to us. I got so tired of Sal talking to me and my husband like we were complete idiots on the phone. No, Sal, cold air will not RISE UP and cool the master..... no matter how low you set the AC units on the bottom and main level. So, don't stay here in summer until the central air is fixed. Given how much money he makes renting this unit, Sal should fix the central air and also update the unit. It's pretty run down as others have mentioned and the bottom floor with the two twin Murphy beds was depressing and smelled musty and moldy. But we would have lived with it if the unit had AC as advertised. Sal- thanks for ruining my daughter's 15th birthday and our family vacation!

This property is my choice to stay during my summer visits in Montauk. Unit is located in a quiet property that is close to the market, beach, and town. It is cozy and clean with well stocked amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook up a storm but I do not really cook when on vacation. 🙂 Montauk changes a little bit every year and Sal, somewhat of a local, offers his insights. He is pleasantly humorous, helpful, and courteous. He graciously offered his parking space for my brother who did an overnighter. Wifi was a bit slow and umbrellas accompanying the balcony chairs would be nice. Minor details really as we were out and about most of the time. Absolutely a fabulous place to unwind & take in the ocean beach life.

Perfect place to stay! Right across the street from the beach and within walking distance to everything! Could use a new couch… very uncomfortable. Also AC didn’t work very well, but luckily we opened windows and there was a good breeze.

The location is incredible. Unit is great! Views incredible. Spotless and everything you need and more. The host Sal is great! Friendly, Helpful and just an all around great guy.had an amazing time.

Sal's place was perfect for our family of 4. We have twin 14-year-old boys who don't want to share a room. One slept in the first floor bedroom, while the other slept on the couch in the den (which may be pull out, but he didn't bother). The view from the upstairs is amazing. We left the door on the balcony open at night to hear the ocean, hear the ocean we did, but being so close to the sea meant wet air, so you might want to keep the door closed. Sal has some beach chairs and towels, and even a metal bin for fires on the beach at night (you can get scores sticks, marshmallows and wood at the IGA or 7-11). So close to the IGA its like running to your neighbors for that ingredient you forgot. You can walk to two spectacular breakfast spots, a general store, 7-11 and many restaurants and stores. It's one of the best locations Montauk has to offer without being at one of the crowded beach motels.

The beach is across the street, close enough to run home for a snack, the restroom, or to freshen up your drink. Sal is easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The house comes with everything you need for the beach - both daytime chairs/umbrella and nighttime fire supplies. Located right next to the IGA and easy, enjoyable walk to everything in town. If you're looking for convenience, access and to be as close to the ocean as possible - this is a no brainer. That said, this place is best if you're there for the beach and the town and not if you're looking to staycation inside, as the unit itself, appliances, bathrooms and furniture are well-used and somewhat dated. The couch/futon cushions are sinking. The cabinets wouldn't close completely. And we had hit and miss luck with the appliances. In my opinion. still not enough to deter from the location/convenience, but definitely something to note in comparison to other condo properties.

This was our first time renting with Sal and his condo. He could not have been easier to deal with. So nice, helpful and answered all questions. The place was perfect for our family of four. Location cannot be beat. We definitely will be back!

Property was clean and comfortable. Great location to beach and town. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, dishes, stemware and all utensils and then some! Nice bedding and towels. Owner was Great and eager to please.

Sal’s condo is in the perfect Montauk location. We walked right across the street to the beach every day and it was a very short walk into town. Sal was a great host. He was very accommodating and friendly! Plenty of room for our group of 4 adults. Can’t wait to come back!
