The cabin was perfect for what we needed which was 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The location was also perfect it was between both pigeon forge and Gatlinburg very easy to get to both towns. The house needs a little TLC.

There was a problem at the Fish House and we were notified immediately prior to check in. Bill at Ayers Property management notified us and put us in the Lodge House in Seveirville. Absolutely gorgeous place. It was an Air Force reunion for guys all over 75 yrs and their wives.
Bill went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and pleased with the alternative lasting. I recommend Ayers Properties in the Tennessee mountains to anyone wanting a pleasant vacation. Thank you Ayers and thank you, Bill.

BEWARE OF THIS PROPERTY!!!
Old charming rustic home in a great location and wonderful neighbor between Gatlinburg and Sieverville. House itself is in poor condition with filthy carpets; urine and fecal stains EVERYWHERE!!!
The last night we were there we had an unwanted guest for dinner... a snake was in the dining room, scared us to death. Management company and owners do not care about this property.
All the other reviews are on point!

The cabin was not clean. We found a cooked Hot Pocket in the microwave. On day two we found a mouse running into one of the bedrooms. Every morning there after we had to wipe down the kitchen counters, due to find mouse feces on the counter. The carpets were not clean to the point if you walked bare footed, the bottoms of your feet were black with dirt. The door knob to side door was broken, so you could not exit through that door, but you could come in. A large skid of mulch was being stored under the carport, so it could not be utilized completely. The master bathroom did not have hot water. The large screened in porch was awesome and the location was amazing. It does actually have six bedrooms.

We really enjoyed our stay, house was very spacious, property was beautiful! The only disappointment was the quality of the beds & bedding. The furniture was worn, but passable. But we still enjoyed ourselves & had an amazing time!

Fun week
We are an extended family of 12 , 5 children and 7 adults. The children loved the creek! They caught crawdads and the adults had fun too! It was close to the Smokies and Gatlinburg.
Our only complaint is that the kitchen which was very nice did not have enough forks and cups for the number of people it sleeps. We went out and bought plastic forks and paper cups and bowls.

Family Getaway
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fish House! Traveling with my parents, siblings, and their families, we had a variety of ages and multiple family groups. The property accommodated our group well, and the stream proved to be a big hit with the fly fishers in the family!

Exactly what we were looking for
Simple, rustic, peaceful. Beautiful surroundings. Even on hot days, with all of the tree cover the porch with its ceiling fans was a great place to unplug and relax.
Ayres property managers were wonderful to work with... pleasant and responsive. My family is already talking about coming back.

VERY COMFORTABLE HOME AWAY FROM HOME
Though Fish House has seen an abundance of seasons, it’s very comfortable and conveniently located to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the trolley. We’re a family group of 11 (ages 2 to 72), and Fish House provided plenty of space, bathrooms and ample hot water. Extremely friendly and helpful staff when we had any questions or needed assistance. Hope to return next year.

Fish House family vacation
We have family all over North Carolina, Texas and Louisiana we all met here for a wonderful week, the house is rustic and everyone loved it. We had coffee every morning on the porch and it was so nice and peaceful, the kids loved the creek and the yard area.. Everyone loved their rooms and there was plenty of room in the kitchen and the living room. We cooked and visited and walked around it was a very memorable family vacation

Great Place
This was a memorable location with great surroundings. Managers were quick to respond to all inquiries and provide help when needed. The home was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Surrounded by a natural setting with the constant sound of Norton Creek, this was one of our favorite family spots. I would highly recommend this location!

Weekend getaway
We enjoyed our stay at Norton Creek Fish House. The stream right outside provided a relaxing sound/atmosphere. The cabin is an old, authenticate cabin and has history and character. It shows its age and could use some upgrades but we found it to be clean and my family truly enjoyed the cabin. I would definitely suggest new mattresses/beds as they were uncomfortable and made it hard to get a decent rest. The location was perfect, right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and there was not a lot of traffic which was nice. Thank you for allowing us the use of your cabin so our family could enjoy a little relaxing time together away from the stresses of our normal day to day lives!

Great family home with even better outdoors
This house has large enough spaces for family to spend time together and kids to run around. The stream out front was full of trout and was a great fishing hole. The house is full of character and charm and beds and baths. Only concern was the side door that needs to have a better latch or handle. (& warning- the front bedroom nearest to the carport is much hotter than the others)

Perfect for family getaway
The fish house was perfect for my family. We were trying to get the whole family together and they were able to accommodate all 11 of us plus two medium dogs. We didn't feel crowded at all, the children and dogs loved the outdoor property and the teenagers loved walking and exploring the area. Communication with the host was amazing. it snowed during our stay and she called to reassure us that the roads would be cleared around the house. We would recommend 100% and look foward to staying again.

Wonderful vacation home for a big family
The fish house is a great vacation home. My entire family enjoyed staying here. The house was beautiful and so was the property it was on. The location was awesome10 minutes from both gatlinburg and pigeon forge. The owners are very responsive and helpful with any questions or issues you may have. I would 100% stay at the fish house again.

Minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, with a quiet family friendly location. This is an older home, with lots of quirkiness and charm.

The Best Cabin
Our group loved this cabin. We come every year and this has been our favorite cabin yet. Lots of room and great area for the kids to explore. The kids enjoyed playing in the creek and walking around in the woods. It is not far from Gatlinburg of Pigeon Forge. Perfect location! We may try to get this cabin again! Only advise: space out showers. The hot water ran out after about 3 showers.

Not a good choice to stay at.
Im typically not the one to leave comments but.... .. the furniture was worn down badly. the beds was worn and very squeaky. all the furniture needs to be replaced .it had a foul odor through out the cabin. the cleaning of the cabin overall was poor... had to clean hair off the bathroom floor, found mice droppings and dead insects in the bedroom closet downstairs I was staying in. one of the showers upstairs didnt drain well causing a pool of water.

PERFECTION
We searched for over 3 months for a cabin that would fit our family of 10, aged from 80-3. And this cabin couldn’t have been a better fit.
The location was perfect to us, away from all the traffic and busyness. It is truly a “cabin”. Not one of your modern day “cabins”. This one has so much history to it.
The bedrooms were very spacious and cozy. The beds and sheets were amazing. Bathrooms were so cute and roomy. Living room was big enough for everyone to sit and kids to run around. Kitchen was amazing to cook in all week and had everything we needed to cook with. The screened in porch was perfect to sit and sip coffee in the morning and listen to the creek and perfect to sit at the end of the day and relax and chat with everyone.
Plenty of walking trails around the place. A big nice fire pit with chairs across the road and a small fire pit in the yard. We saw plenty of wildlife, a bear at the end of the road, bobcats running through the yard, raccoons, squirrels, and the biggest trouts in the creek. We were so happy we booked this cabin instead of the ones sitting right next to each other so we could get the feel of the nature.
We had a water line to break our second day there and the guys down the hill communicated with us every step of the way and even brought us water in a cooler for us. We completely understood things happened and they got it fixed very fast.
There’s some reviews saying the water pressure was bad but I want to say they got that fixed because we all took showers and baths and used appliances at the same time and nothing slowed down. The wifi downstairs is perfect, but upstairs we couldn’t get it (which is fine because we were ready to pass out every night anyways).
This will be our go-to cabin from now on. On the drive home we were looking at dates in 2022 to come back. Cant wait to spend our next vacation to the mountains here.

Great stay!!
I absolutely loved this cabin! The location was great and it was so spacious, my favorite part about it is the huge screened in porch and the creek running along beside it! We actually got it approved by the owner to get married there! We will definitely be back! The host responds back quickly and are easy to work with! 5 stars all the way around!

Great location, old features
The house is located extremely close to Gatlinburg, has enough room for 14 people, & is in a very great location, which is great! Unfortunately, it does not have proper water set up for 14 people, which is not ideal. You could only take 1 shower or run one appliance at a time or else risk being stuck in the shower covered in soap with no water & it doesn’t come back for a while. Another downside was the WiFi not working well. You had to sit in the dining room to use it or go without.

Fish House Sumer 2021
We loved the location, the charm of the fish house. Only complaint is a lack of water pressure. If only one person is showering at a time you are good to go. We had a large family and when everyone is trying to get showered at the same time the water pressure is very low. Other than that the place was great.

120 year old house by a creek - FABULOUS!!!
Our family of 6 + 2 extended family members + the woods and fresh air = HAPPINESS. My teenage boys had a great time scouting around the property looking for kindling for the fires that we had every night...nothing like S'Mores and hotdogs over an open flame. My daughter took advantage of the beautiful scenery and filled her phone with lots of pictures. The house is 120 years so it is rustic. You're in the middle of no where and the cell reception is pretty nonexistent but we did have internet access. The house was great for what we needed and extremely convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Norton fish house
We were supposed to be a family of eleven. Due to a surgery we became 3 adults over 70 years of age. The house isn’t good for seniors. We lost power for 9 hours. Pitch black. No candles, lanterns or flashlights. There was no back up generator. The house was not decorated for Christmas. When we got power back the living areas were cold. The bedrooms were comfortable. The floors in the living room and dining area were uneven. Easy trip hazard.

Not good
We arrived Friday evening and the ac did not work upstairs. HVAC company repaired but it was already late before they finished and the property had lost power. No one ended up being able to sleep upstairsDue to it being so hot( thermostat read 99 which was as high as it went). We also didn’t have any water after we lost power so we were unable to shower or use the restroom. Woke up Saturday and the power came on around 9am. Had to wash the dishes and kitchen before we were able to cook breakfast due to everything being covered in dust and filth. Cleaning crew only seemed to sweep and not vacuum. The corners and around furniture is full of animal hair. The ac came on and ran so we left to go to pigeon forge. Returned around 8 and the downstairs and upstairs was still hot. Around 9:30 when we went to bed the upstairs still read 80 and downstairs read 74. Most guests slept downstairs again. Went to take a shower and the water would barely trickle out the shower head. We did regain pressure by Sunday morning as we were checking out. I have time stamped photos and videos if you are interested. The location was great but the property itself is not up kept very well. Downstairs shower is about to fall though floor on glass door side, it’s at least 4” lower and sags greatly when you step in.

Scenic Get Away
Our large party really liked the house. The area was great with an easy (but heavily trafficked) route to Gatlinburg and nearby trails. The only reason that this trip did not warrant 5 stars is because of the shower/laundry/dishwasher situation. Only one shower or appliance worked well at a time. It is a lovely older house with lovely older water pressure!
The private road provided excellent walks along the beautiful creek and the screened in porch was a nice place to enjoy some quiet time. Our party of 13 managed well in the kitchen and dining areas- plenty of space to prepare meals. The upstairs rooms were quite nice, well appointed and cool from the AC. We did not see photos of those rooms when we booked our trip but they added to the comfort of the house.
Overall, a good place to land and the area is great!
